Appearance:

Trafalgar Law is a young man of average height, slim build and dark complexion. His facial features are characterized by piercing grey eyes with dark circles under the eyes, and a smirk on his lips that usually forms a slight smile. His black hair is permanently covered by a fur hat typical of the northern lands, and he also sports sideburns and a goatee on his chin. Law has multiple black tribal-style tattoos visible on his arms and hands, the most characteristic being on his left hand, where he has a letter tattooed in black on each of his fingers, so that when read they all form the word "DEATH". He also has his crew's Jolly Roger tattooed on his forearms, and strange crosses on the back of his hands. In his earliest appearances, Law wears a yellow hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves (usually rolled up), and the Jolly Roger symbol of the pirate gang he captains is printed on the chest. Law also wears jeans with strange markings on the knee and ankle areas (similar to those on his hat), and black, pointy shoes. He also has a pair of small hoop earrings in each ear. After the two-year time skip, Law changed his hat to a cap of the same style. In Punk Hazard, he wore a long, dark coat, with the insignia of his pirate gang on the lower right side and on the right sleeve of the coat, with a turned-up collar. He appears to be wearing the same pants and shoes as he did two years ago. He also appears to have slightly longer hair.

Personality:

He is a relaxed and self-confident character, displaying a very serious and dark appearance. He is quite reckless in his dealings with other pirates and even rude in his greetings. Despite this, his way of speaking is extremely polite and he usually speaks formally to others.

Skills:

Law is a user of a Devil Fruit, the Ope Ope no mi (operation operation) which allows him to create a large perimeter that he calls a "Room", in which he can use his ability as an operating room. The "Room" looks like a sphere that Law can increase and decrease at will, although the maximum size it can reach is unknown. But the rooms consume his life energy, the larger the more energy it consumes, Smoker explained the powers of this akuma no mi saying that as long as you are inside its "room" you must consider yourself a patient in an operating room in which Law is a surgeon.
