Appearance

Luna was described as a beautiful woman with blonde hair and green eyes. In her youth, she wore her hair short, but it grew out as she grew older.

Personality

Luna was a very cheerful and kind-hearted woman who was eager to find love and raise a happy family as she stated that while she enjoyed her life in Evezeino where she had a wealthy lifestyle, she would enjoy life with her beloved and raise a family together even if they had to live a simple lifestyle of eating some soup and stale bread or wearing clothes sewn by herself if she couldn't afford a beautiful dress. However, after learning from her grandfather that she was destined to give birth to the Lion of Destruction, which would devastate the Sacred Silver Sea, she became depressed and disheartened as she tried to find a way to escape her fate. After meeting Celis, he managed to regain his optimism, as his kind and cheerful nature was noticed by the members of the Phantom Knights, his existence being a beacon of light for warriors scarred by war.

History

Luna was born in the Abyss World of Disaster Evezeino as a member of the prominent Arzenon clan. She was the sister of Parrington Arzenon and the granddaughter of Dominic Arzenon, who was a prominent researcher. After her grandfather experimented on her to allow her to give birth to the Lion of Destruction, Luna became determined to not allow the phantom beast king to be born. Arriving in the Blacksmith World Bardilua, she met with the baron of the Holy Sword World Hayfolia: Lebrahard Freneros. Explaining her situation to him, she asks for his help as she wants to sever her fate with the help of the legendary holy sword Evansmana, which would allow her to escape her fate as the Abyssal Princess of Calamity. Taking her to Hayfolia, Luna awaited the Holy King's selection, which would grant the next king the right to wield Evansmana, still a little worried about her future. But Hayfolia was attacked by Evezeino's forces led by Parrington, who was there to claim Luna. During the chaos, Luna was injured and the power of the Abyss of Desire within her began to spiral out of control. However, Lebrahard returned with Evansmana in hand and used it to attempt to sever her fate. Despite the clash of powers, Luna's fate was only partially severed as she fell into a world of bubbles, along with Evansmana, who was trapped within the Abyss of Desire in her womb.

Awakening in the bubble world of Elenesia, Luna was interrogated by human soldiers, but they were soon possessed by the ghosts accompanying her. The possessed soldiers attacked her, but she was saved by Ceris Voldigoad, who held back the ghosts with the help of the Creation Goddess Elenesia. After that, she followed Celis as she did not know where to go, thus opting to stay with him. She joined the Phantom Knights as a cook and caretaker, befriending the various members there as she grew curious about their mission. The bubble world eventually died, but due to an unknown miracle, Syrica worked and Luna was able to reincarnate into the new Militia World alongside the Phantom Knights. Luna was reincarnated as the daughter of a demon couple in Dilhade, but on her fifteenth birthday, her parents were killed by an unknown doll. But she was eventually defeated and destroyed by Celis, who was also reincarnated. Due to being orphaned, Celis took her in, as she needed a strong mother to give birth to her child, which she happily accepted. She eventually becomes pregnant with Celis' child and goes to Zeylon Village to safely give birth while Celis is away on a mission. However, the misfit Graham arrived and captured a weakened Luna so that she could serve as bait to lure Celis out. The village would eventually be attacked by human soldiers, who began to torment her in her weakened state, but were soon killed by the destructive power of her unborn child. However, she was then attacked by Graham, leaving her mortally wounded. Despite driving Graham back, Celis was too late to save Luna. With the last of her remaining strength, she gave birth to their son, Anos Voldigoad, and told Celis that she was happy to be his wife before dying.

Skills

Immense Magical Power: As a resident of the deep world Evezeino and a member of the prominent Arzenon bloodline, Luna has immense magical power. Despite her large magical reserves, she was not a fighter as she lacked the combat ability to make use of her magical power. Her immense amount of magical power and her connection to the Abyss of Cravings allowed her to move and function normally when she was pregnant with Anos, despite bearing the child of the Voldigoad bloodline being extremely taxing on the mother, to the point where Celis' own mother (who was said to be strong in her own right) was unable to speak during her pregnancy. She demonstrated enough power to try and resist Graham while continuously supplying magical power to Anos to ensure that he could be born properly. [1] Phoenix Gestation: Due to experiments performed on her by her grandfather Dominic, in which he transformed her strong craving for a child into a unique phantasm, Luna's womb became connected to the Abyss of Cravings, meaning she could freely give birth to the Lion of Destruction. [3] It is also revealed that imperfectly created Lions of Destruction can become perfect by incarnating through her womb and returning to the Abyss of Cravings to reclaim the essence left behind after that cut to her womb by the Claws of Arzenon. [4]

Due to her connection to the Abyss of Cravings, her energy can leak out if she is badly injured, as she begins to absorb things in her surroundings and destroy them. Her connection to the Abyss of Cravings prevented her fate from being completely severed by the legendary holy sword; Evansmana, the Sword of Three Races, and even damaged the holy sword to a certain extent after it was used against her. [5] However, the Gestation Phoenix's ability and cravings were seemingly rendered dormant after Luna was reincarnated, as she did not leak the energy of the Abyss of Cravings when Graham attacked her. [1] Perceptive Magic Eyes: Luna had excellent magic eyes, as she could perceive disembodied ghosts, which ordinary people cannot see. [3] She could also use it to sense the cravings other people possessed. [6] She could also detect the hidden members of the Phantom Knights by detecting their cravings. [1]

Magic

"Ingall" (Ingal resuscitation, Ingaru, lit. "resurrection") A spell that resurrects the dead after offering a drop of blood. As long as it is used within three seconds of the target's death, there is no risk of permanent death. Ingall can be blocked by Lu Ingall. "the game" (rotting to deathigloo, Igurumu, lit. "Rotting death") A spell that resurrects the dead as zombies. Those who have been resurrected gain immense magical power. In return, their bodies burn with hatred towards their killers and the pain of their wounds torments them for eternity. "dielga" (divided soulDierga, Dieruga, lit. "Divided soul, divided body") A spell that splits a person's source and body into two. In the end, the separated parts become one again, leaving only the original personality. It is a difficult spell to cast and has a lower success rate if cast after birth. [6] "Goa Grum" (Army of Rotten DemonsSad Gore, Goa Gurumu, lit. "Ghoul Soldier") An enhanced version of Igrum that creates ghouls instead of zombies. It produces subordinate soldiers that are more powerful than the original spell could create. However, Goa Grum also corrupts its sources. [9] "indole" (Asphyxiaindre, Indoru, lit. "Apparent death") A spell that causes the target to remain in a state of temporary death regardless of damage taken. The target would retain their five senses the entire time and could be resurrected later. This was a common punishment two thousand years ago. [10] "Gavdea" (The power source destroys the body.govdea, Gavudea, lit. "Power Source Destruction Strong Body") A spell that cuts off the user's source and converts it into power.

"Azesith" (dimensional prisonzesis, Azeishisu, lit. "Dimensional prison") Magic that opens a door to another dimension. Only an extremely powerful magician can enter the dimensional prison. "Baroque" (dimensional gatekeeper, Baroika, lit. "Dimensional Guardian") A magic spell developed by Anos Voldigoad that mimics the Blood Border Gates of Aeges Code created by Dehiddatem. It distorts space and time and can send objects to another dimension. "Dedrained" (Dark Magic Path of the Otherworlddedradonnedo, Dedorādonedo , lit. "Magic Path of the Shadow World") A magic spell developed by the Sorcerer King Bomiras Heros, which creates a twisted, otherworldly space and draws in those who enter it from elsewhere. It allows him to absorb and redirect enemy attacks by storing them in space and then redirecting them by opening a portal with a magic circle. While the interior of the dimension is nearly infinite, the downside is that the entrance is not that large, allowing it to be blocked off if a large enough object is stored in the entrance. "Pink" (food production, Rōzu, lit. "Food creation") A spell that can create various types of food, such as meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and even wine. It is not efficient to convert magic power into food, and the spell circle for it is excessively complex. In the Magic Age, where food is abundant, there is no point in trying to learn this spell. But during the Mythic Age, where it was sometimes possible to get no food at all, this spell proved invaluable in preventing starvation.

"Giginuvenuens" (Beheading and executiongiginuvenuenuzu, Giginuvenuenuzu , lit. "Beheading Destruction Death penalty Execution") Magic that plants the seeds of destruction deep within the target's source by encasing their neck in a black binding and decapitating them with a jet-black guillotine blade. Once the target is decapitated, their source will be destroyed and cannot be saved. The spell was created to be used on certain individuals who were too resilient to be killed in any conventional manner, thus Giginuvenuens was developed as a unique form of execution magic to permanently destroy such individuals. [17] "Ent" (cicatrizaciónent, Ento, lit. "healing") A spell that heals wounds. "Enchel" (anti-magic healingEnshel, Ensheru, lit. "Anti-magic healing") A more powerful version of Ent . "Eyes" (Detoxify, Īsu, lit. "Detoxification") A spell that removes poison from the body. It can also be used to remove alcohol, although the use of detox magic at drunken parties is frowned upon. [18] "Inni Bik" (supremobikini swimsuit, Bi Kini, lit. "Supreme Swimsuit") A swimsuit that maximizes the user's underwater abilities. The thin fabric is a magic circle that is constantly activated with a spell formula optimized for the user's body. With the swimsuit, the user can easily swim through waves and currents or even walk on water. [22] "giel" (gigel magic chain of restriction, Gijeru, lit. "Magic Chain of Restriction") Magic that binds the target with magical chains.

"Behelius" (Dark coffin of eternal deathBehelio, Beheriusu, lit. "Dark coffin that kills eternal death") A magic spell that creates a dark coffin that causes the trapped person to die forever. The trapped person's magic power is used to cause their repeated deaths, so they will die until their magic power runs out. The only way to stop the endless suffering is for the caster to open the lid. The spell was created as a means of torture, but was also used to protect important people who were in danger and could not afford to be exposed to it. Behelius could be used to restrain them by causing them to continuously die until the danger passes because the coffin boasts tremendous durability and is protected by powerful magic and anti-magic barriers. Despite the spell's potency, it is shown that the target the spell is used on must first be weakened, restrained, or immobilized by other means. If any of these conditions are not met, the target can be freed before the first death begins to continuously kill them. [24] "Dazzle" (Magic Eye Enhancement, Guria, lit. "Magic Eye Enhancement") Magic that strengthens the Magic Eyes. "Ygg Neas" (Senluowanzhangyo nea, I Guneasu , lit. "Hand of all creation") A spell that transcends distances and allows the user to grab and hold anything in the palm of their hand, no matter how far away they are. It causes their hand to glow with a bluish-white aura. The user is not limited by the number of hands and can grab numerous objects simultaneously and move them in different directions.

to Venice (Natural manifestation of the wave body. Veneziara, Venejiara, lit. "Possibility of manifestation of the wave body") A spell that makes possibilities real. With it, contradictory events and actions can exist simultaneously. For example, the caster can stand still while a possible version of themselves, a blurry afterimage, moves to a different location. Additionally, the spell can be activated multiple times, increasing the number of alternate versions of oneself. Veneziara's contradictory forms can exist simultaneously because they are just possibilities. With this spell, Anos was able to unsheathe Leviangilma without destroying its source. It made the possibility of unsheathing the sword and not unsheathing it at the same time a reality. [34] "Giral" (magic thread william, Gireru, lit. "Magic thread") A spell that creates magical threads. "Jio pasta" (Hellfire Geoglazed Annihilation Cannon, Jio Gureizu, lit. "Hell Flame Annihilation Mortar") The highest grade of fire magic within the demon magic system; a powerful miniature jet-black sun that can be launched at the enemy. The projectile is fired using a hellfire mortar created by the combined magic of multiple users, with full control granted to one person. However, Anos can cast the spell single-handedly, even without using the mortar itself. The jet-black sun attacks your opponent like a comet. In the Mythic Era, one caster could use several Jio Graze, but in the Magic Era, twenty people could only achieve a 20% success rate. "Theo Ingall" (Rebirth of the Theo Ingal Shrine, Teo Ingaru, lit. "Shrine of the Resurrection") An enhanced version of Ingall, who can resurrect multiple people simultaneously. He can also undo the negative effects of spells that affect sources such as Goa Grum.

Relations

Ceris Voldigoad: Luna's husband, whom she loved and cared for dearly. The two met when Luna fell into the Elenesia World, as Celis saved her from being attacked by the ghosts she had with her. She initially followed him due to not knowing anything about her surroundings. She became intrigued by him because he could resist being possessed by phantom beasts, as well as possessing power equivalent to the inhabitants of the Deep World, as her own longing told her not to leave him. While she gradually became attracted to him, she was dejected by his seeming indifference towards her, as she hoped to begin a romance with him and live a life of happiness. However, she gradually began to understand his thoughts even without him voicing them, as she helped him investigate Syrica to leave behind hope for the future. After she and Celis were able to reincarnate, he took her in after her parents died, as they felt an indescribable connection between them and Celis needed a strong partner to give birth to the child of the Voldigoad line. As she died, she remembered her relationship with Celis, as she was glad to have met him and that he taught her to live as hard as she could. Voldigoad Years: Luna's son, whom she never got to meet. Due to her destiny as the Princess of Destruction, Luna was very hesitant to give birth to children, as her child would be the Lion of Destruction that would ravage the Sacred Silver Sea, so she did her best to control the longing within her.

After her reincarnation as a resident of the Militia World, she forgot about her connection to the Abyss of Longing and the knowledge about the Lion of Destruction. Still, she had an instinctive feeling that perhaps she should not give birth through her husband Celis reassured her. During her labor, she was attacked by Graham and human soldiers, but she did her best to ensure that Anos could be born safely. After Graham fatally injured her, she gave birth to Anos before passing away as she encouraged him to be the strongest child he could be and help his father. First: Back in Elenesia, Luna got along well with the First and considered him a dear and close friend. He advised her and helped her expand her understanding of the world, of the Phantom Knights, and especially of Celis. Before volunteering to become a test subject for Celis' research on Syrica, he asked her to take care of Celis when he was gone, revealing that Celis was the one who told the Phantom Knight to call her "princess". After he seemingly perished, she cast aside all of her naivety and hardened her resolve to confront Celis about his goals and mission. Elenesia: Luna was impressed with Elenesia's powers as a goddess of creation. Still, she felt a sense of inferiority towards her, as Celis seemed to treat her much more cordially than Luna, with whom she barely spoke. She felt jealous at the prospect of the two having a romantic relationship.

Graham: When she was pregnant and unable to move, Graham suddenly approached her with a child standing beside him, the Mad God Aganzon. The moment she saw him, she knew he was bad news as he looked at her with a seemingly kind smile but a blank expression at the same time and knew Celis's true name and identity, which further increased her uneasiness. He used her as bait to lure Celis out and killed her.
