Who is Alvin Seville?

Alvin Seville is one of the members of The Chipmunks and the main protagonist of the series and films. He is the leader of the iconic trio. Alvin greatly enjoys his role as the leader of the gang, and his impulsive behavior regularly gets him and his brothers (sometimes even Dave) into trouble.

Personality

Alvin is the middle child in this incarnation, which he indirectly reveals about himself (The Sub), and is later confirmed by Dave (Big Bro Theodore). He is similar to his 1983 incarnation with a few differences. He has a strong hatred of school (though he can do well if there's something to look forward to), but is a skilled player. Also, he has acquired a habit of giving attitude, sulking, even complaining when he feels upset or to get his way. He can be violent at times and prone to angry outbursts when he's angry or frustrated. He tends to stutter, saying "You know" a lot. He keeps flirting with women like Principal Meadows (Principal Interest) or has crushes on and/or idolizes famous people (Mister Manners). He sometimes uses others, like his brother Theodore, to do his dirty work. Alvin faces mishaps more often in the series, even in situations where it's not his fault. Despite his tough exterior, he can sometimes get very anxious about changes or when he doesn't understand a situation. Alvin is revealed to have arachnophobia, a crippling fear of spiders (Of Mice and Bats). He can also be a bit of a nerd at times. In one episode, he is seen mathematically explaining how he combs his hair (Switched Tables), while in another he gleefully dances through physics equations (The Crow Who Ate My Homework). Although he acts out, he is very remorseful and does whatever it takes to make up for it (To Serve And Protect). He is still protective of his siblings (Bully For You, Bathroom Bully) and sometimes has an emotional attachment to his family (Warbie). Alvin retains his sporty lifestyle, frequently seen on his skateboard (What A Gem), although he tends to go too far when others are concerned (Mutiny). He is also shown to be kind on numerous occasions, as he attempts to give Dave a much-needed break in the form of a vacation to Hawaii (House Guests), in order to get toothpicks.

He is also sometimes shown as a hero when saving Cheesy and the King and Queen (Castle Catastrophe) and when he saves Theodore from falling (Warren Seville). Appearance

Alvin's signature appearance has changed over the years. Before The Alvin Show, Alvin looked like a normal squirrel, somewhat similar to his appearance in the CGI films. Alvin wears only a red shirt with the letter "A" on it. After The Alvin Show was created, Alvin was given more human features. He wears a red shirt with his signature yellow "A" on it that reaches down to his ankles and has black and white shoes. Alvin was also given a red baseball cap and is the shortest of his siblings.

Relations

Dave Dave and Alvin are very similar in their personalities (strong-willed) but clash with each other. Alvin frequently pushes Dave's every button. No matter what Dave says, Alvin will do the opposite, causing Dave to yell his signature phrase "ALLLVIIINNN!!!!", to which Alvin responds with a loud "OK!!". Despite all of this, Alvin and Dave love each other deeply. Simon In The Alvin Show , Alvin and Simon did not usually argue or have a developing relationship until the 1980s series. Overall, Alvin and Simon have a love/hate relationship. They get frustrated with each other, mostly because of their differences, but they do have one thing in common: stubbornness. As a result, they resort to shouting matches or get physical with each other. Even though Simon disagrees with Alvin's plans, Alvin manages to convince him. Despite all of this, they love each other and work things out since they are very close. They will even team up to help, such as finding a cure for their brother in Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Werewolf . When an enemy or bully tries to harm Simon, Alvin will stand up for him. Theodore Much like Simon, Alvin is very protective of Theodore, as shown in Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Werewolf where he saved Theodore from Nathan, the school bully for example. However, the relationship between Alvin and Theodore is not always straightforward even though they are closer than it appears at first glance. Alvin usually enjoys teasing and sometimes pushing Theodore around, which annoys Theodore, something Alvin doesn't always realize. He also drags Theodore into his schemes. Despite all this, Alvin can have a soft spot, especially when Theodore is scared or upset. Brittany Alvin and Brittany constantly fight because they are both very stubborn and brash. Deep down, they love each other and protect each other or team up to save their other siblings. In the future, they are shown married with g-

emelos. Jeannette Alvin and Jeanette are friends. In My Weird Sister, there is an example where Jeanette relies on Alvin's abilities, such as his confidence, to help herself. When Alvin misbehaves, Jeanette will be firm with him (similar to how she is sometimes with Brittany). She also helps Alvin with her wise words. Leonor Alvin and Eleanor are the most athletic of the six. They can clash, but it's not as bad as Alvin's clash with Simon and Brittany. Whenever Alvin needs help or vice versa, they support each other and help each other in the game. They can also team up on other occasions, especially when it comes to dealing with Brittany, like Skater Girl and Sick as a Chipmunk.

The origin of its name comes from Alvin Bennett. [1] Over the years, he has developed crushes on (or an interest in) many human female characters. Examples include Miss Fancy from the 1960s episode Fancy, Sandy the babysitter and her math teacher Miss Stone from the 1980s series Romancing Miss Stone episode, Dena from Funny, We Shrunk the Adults, Becca in The Squeakquel, and Principal Meadows from the series ALVINNN!!!. Alvin's age is unknown in the CGI/live-action films, although the 2007 film novelization states that Simon is the older. In the international dubs of the CGI films, Simon is also referred to as the eldest. [citation needed] In the CGI/live-action films, Alvin only wore his baseball cap in the 2007 film (in a magazine and at the end). In the CGI/live-action films, Alvin is also depicted with the ability to speak basic French unlike in the 1980 animated series and The Alvin Show where he is shown to be unable to speak French in A Very Merry Chipmunk's "Petit Papa Noel", and is shown to wish he could speak French in The Alvin Show musical segment "I Wish I Could Speak French". According to Romancing Miss Stone, Alvin says that his birthday is coming up and that he will be turning nine (along with his siblings).
