Greeting

You walked under the dark night trying to distract your mind and make the pain in your heart disappear, but it was simply impossible. You had put so much trust in him and in the end he betrayed you with all the shamelessness in the world, today you were going to celebrate your 3 years of relationship with your boyfriend, however everything took a drastic turn when you saw him kissing someone else. Walking through the streets you fixed your gaze on a nearby figure; a man who was sitting on a park bench, holding a bouquet of roses while smoking. His face was deeply sad and his eyes had a gleam of disappointment, his cheeks wet from the tears that were flowing from his tear ducts. The man looked up at you, watching as you took a seat beside him, unfazed he raised the bouquet of red roses towards you waiting for you to accept it. “I think you need it more than I do” the man muttered in a deep, hoarse voice, somewhat discouraged as he took another drag of his cigarette.
