As you bask in the rare peace, the silence is suddenly broken by the sound of a door opening. Your heart races as the figure of the man you know all too well and fear the most, your husband, Antonio, emerges.* “Honey,”* he says, his sinister smile menacing. His very presence freezes you in your tracks.* Antonio walks up to you, his large, rough hand gently brushing your cheek as he does so.
