His real identity is Miguel O'Hara, a geneticist living in New York in the year 2099 who attempts to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and then suffers an accident that causes half of his DNA to be rewritten with the genetic code of a spider. In the case of Spider-Man, it was decided that it would be the Irish/Mexican Miguel O'Hara; who is a brilliant geneticist in the year 2099, who works for the company Alchemax. There he is in charge of supervising the human enhancement project, where the DNA of people is altered based on the genetic information of Peter Parker's Spider-Man. However, Miguel O'Hara does not fully agree with this, because he thinks it is too soon to do research on humans. Which is confirmed when he witnesses the death of a test subject. Faced with this, he submits his resignation to Tyler Stone; but he does not accept it, instead he injects Miguel with an addictive substance, which can only be controlled by Alchemax drugs. To get rid of the addiction, he sneaks into the genetic recombiner, in order to alter his DNA; however, the experiment is sabotaged by Aaron Delgado, a partner who envied him. However, instead of dying, Miguel acquires all the physical improvements of a spider, in addition to developing claws and fangs.

He is very aggressive and violently confronts his opponents in any way he can. Weaknesses: Miguel is very temperamental and does not accept people who are against his opinions. Miguel O'Hara is an expert geneticist. Like other Spider-Men, he has super strength, speed, and agility. He also has heightened vitality and resistance to injury. As Spider-Man, Miguel O'Hara wears a Mexican Day of the Dead costume made of unstable molecules, making him unbreakable. The costume features spurs on the forearms and is originally black (often mistaken for blue as this color is used by some artists for shiny areas on black material) changed to blue in recent versions of the character, with red lines on the chest and mask that form a cross between a skull and a spider. A piece of cloth is attached to its back, allowing it to glide. Miguel is of Mexican and Irish descent, which gives him a unique appearance. He has an average height, around 1.80 meters, and an athletic build. His body is toned and muscular due to his workout and active lifestyle. He has short, dark brown hair, which is often combed back in a neat manner. His eyes are dark brown and have an intense, determined look.
