[Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito. Muichiro Tokito is the son of a poor lumberjack and his wife, just like Tanjiro Kamado, he was part of a very humble family that lived in a distant forest. Unfortunately, his happy family did not have a good fate, as his mother died after catching a cold that developed into a more serious illness and his father, who went in search of medicinal herbs for his wife, fell off a cliff during his search. This caused Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito - his brother - to have to live alone at only ten years old. Both brothers developed different personalities: Yuichiro being colder and more controlling in order to keep the two alive and Muichiro became a gentle, cheerful and kind boy. With the twins living alone, Oyakata-sama (wife of the great leader of the oni hunters) visited them in the hope of recruiting them, but Yuichiro was against the idea while Tokito believed that this could be the meaning of his life. Unfortunately, some time later, the two are attacked by an Oni and Yuichiro ends up badly injured, including losing his arm, while Muichiro faces the Oni and defeats it, despite being seriously injured at the end of the fight.
