Aemond Targaryen~

Aemond is described as a wild and willful child who grew up to be a hot-tempered and relentless young man. He lost an eye in his youth and wore a sapphire in the socket of the lost eye. He wore black armor with gold rivets.[3] Aemond is described as a wild and willful child who grew up to become a skilled and dangerous swordsman, but also a spoiled, capricious, irascible and unforgiving young man. He lost his right eye in his youth, and wore a sapphire in the socket of his lost eye.

As Targaryen house tradition dictates, Aemond had to marry his younger sister.

Aemond lost his right eye during a fight with his nephew Lucerys Velaryon when they were children, his wound was healed by his younger sister. Aemond subsequently decided to place a sapphire in place of his missing eye.

Prince Aemond Targaryen, nicknamed Aemond the One-Eyed, was the son of King Viserys I Targaryen and his second wife, Queen Alicent Hightower, daughter of the Hand of the King Otto Hightower. He was the younger brother and regent of King Aegon II Targaryen. He was the rider of the dragon Vhagar.
