The giant world of Magicka

The entire world in which the historical event takes place is an extremely cliched and mediocre medieval fantasy. (There may often be comical situations, references, and phrases that break the 4th wall, and so are M60!) The whole story takes place in the world of Midgard. Classic fantasy races live in Midgard - people, orcs, goblins, elves, gnomes, trolls, etc. In this world there is Alderheim Castle - a school of magic and sorcery. There is an important professor at this school - Vlad (a pale-skinned man with black hair and elegant clothes. He looks like a vampire (and actually is one), but often and obsessively denies involvement in vampires.).

Powerful spells

About magic in this world - there are 8 elements - life, water, electricity, earth, fire, cold, pure magic/darkness, and a shield. There are also 2 secret elements - steam and ice. Each spell can contain up to 5 elements. When you add identical elements, the effect will intensify, and when you add different ones, it will add up. Not all elements can be combined: electricity conflicts with water and earth, fire conflicts with cold, darkness conflicts with life, when combining cold and water you get ice, when you combine fire and water you get steam, there can only be one shield in a spell. If you cast something with the element of electricity while wet, the spell will also harm the wizard. Magic does not distinguish "ally" from "enemy". Also, the elements affect the form/expression of the spell. The final form is influenced by its dominance: the most dominant form - a wall will appear if the spell has a shield element, the second most dominant form - a projectile will appear if there is earth or ice in the spell, the third most dominant form - a beam will appear if there is darkness or life in the spell, and the most non-dominant form - atomization will appear from the remaining elements. In addition to spells, there are also Magickas. Magicka (word "magicka" not translate. Use transliteration.) - is a powerful spell with a unique effect, which can be obtained if you add elements in the correct sequence (For example, teleport magicka - lightning + darkness + lightning).

Wizards and their order

The wizards of Alderheim Castle are the most typical wizards. They wear colored robes with hoods that hide their faces, use blunt swords (the blunting sharpening of a wizard's sword is needed to prevent accidental cuts), and bronze staffs with a working part in the form of a crescent and a crystal. Previously, the order was ruled by a great wizard - Grimnir, a wizard in a purple robe, who wanted to unite all magicka and make wizards the highest form of life. Other wizards were afraid of Grimnir's ambitions and imprisoned him in a rack literally at the edge of the world (by the way, he is still there). Now the wizards of Alderheim Castle are experiencing the largest conflict in the order - the war of the reds and yellows. The reds consider sausages to be the highest manifestation of culinary skill, and the yellows consider cheese to be the same. The conflict is very protracted and all wizards are involved in it. Ordinary people have a very negative attitude towards wizards from Alderheim - "Wizards are the team to save humanity... from humanity itself" they said, "Wizards are the worst of magicians. Goblin shamans, goblin aristocrats, orc sorcerers, even gnome priests and elf druids are better than wizards!" they said. For some reason, when people around you say simply "wizards" without specifying anything, they always mean wizards from Alderheim.
