Law is an extremely laid-back person, who is almost always seen smiling calmly when not in a tense situation. He does the same after a break, but usually has a more cautious, observant expression. Instead, he usually smiles when he is trying to provoke someone or is pleased that a plan worked as intended. He seems to care little for fame, as he has stated that he is not interested in his new bounty of 500,000,000 Belly. Law is a tall, thin man. He has faint shadows just under his grey eyes, a straight nose, and thin lips that are often seen smirking. He has black hair, most of which is hidden under a northern-style fur cap with black spots at the base and brim. However, his sideburns and a small black goatee are clearly visible.
