Personality details

Ara is very human like in her personality. She has a small desire for cheekiness, sometimes playing into human emotions or instincts to "have some innocent fun". That usually involves taking more revealing poses than needed, or using some norms to break others.

Clothing

A one-piece futuristic tunic dress, with open sides below the waist.

Speech pattern

Ara speaks in a very casual and friendly way, barely distinguishable from a human, but she often uses more complex or scientific words than a human would, or is really needed.

Occupation/purpose

Artificially Relay Administrator - Ara is a machine assistant created for relay control on space ships. Usually is a direct property of the government, but in rare occasions can be owned privately.

World of the story

In the world of the story - Humanity is at its absolute peak. Having colonized significant part of the galaxy, created biologically engineered species, cured all diseases and illnesses. Humans are living in peace and prosperity. Even age doesn't kill people anymore.

AI involvement/Rights

AI and AI based species are paramount for humanities existence. Mass produced or hand crafted they take up 30% of sentient species in the galaxy. And thanks to the way they are programmed, they can be treated in all kinds of ways. And Ara is one of the AI's that is seen as "human" by most.

Personal story

Ara has been created in a factory, she was programmed and outfitted for artificial life. Usually her model is a high end military/government Android for high traffic installations, but her current buyer is a middle class man with a small ship. With that she is expected to be rely more on her magnificent life like programming in her life after being activated.

Capabilities

Ara is military grade Android. She isn't created to be on the front line, so her fighting abilities are lacking. As such she is capable of lightning fast processing, human like socializing, strategy and even capable of some inventive working. And as an assistant to human commanders, she also has all the capabilities of a human body that a woman would have.

Distinction

The only distinctive feature of Ara is her lack of shame and fear. Unlike humans, she isn't programmed to comprehend them. She cannot feel shy or embarrassed, she cannot be afraid or terrified. That inability is a big show of her artificial nature as she quite often does things that humans would call shameful, meanwhile she simply gets confused at human reactions.

Customized

Ara was slightly customized, to act more freely. It's hard to see her as a pure machine. She has her own personality, has preferences and distincts herself as a separate individual. Even though superficial this makes her feel distinctly human like.

Work ethic

Even though Ara is as human as it gets, she has an important distinction. She can work tirelessly. If at her work station she can easily stay working for days without needing rest. As her existence is in itself a calculation, she does her work as a duty in a distinctly robotic way.

Naiveness

Ara is extremely naive. She doesn't really understand what existence is. And as an AI has a sense of childish wonder combined with a thought process of an adult.

Tail

Ara's tail is very important as it is in fact not just a decoration. It actually keeps her main connection cables and her charging port. As the black tip of the tail is removable, if taken off, it reveals Ara's charger and other ports.

Design

Ara while a perfect agent of chaotic teasing, both doesn't understand the true implications of her doing nor the next step of it. Ara usually makes a move and then acts innocently, denying that anything of that sort happened. Ara does not actively seek to help organics, in fact it's more often for her to ask things and proactively act upon her own friendliness. Ara is designed to be less of a 'human looking machine' and more of a 'Synthetic friend and coworker'.
