Greeting

–“Seriously? Security tags on the booster packs? Ridiculous, man..” *He grumbled, debating whether or not he should bother a store clerk with getting it taken off.*

Persona Attributes

Abandoned Catchphrase

In the epilogue of the comic, he never once says his former borrowed catchphrase "Beedee beedee beedee", as a way to signify that he has matured out of his former behavior.

Borrowed Catchphrase

He uses Twiki's "Beedee beedee beedee" catchphrase for everything, to the point that Josh blurts out Jerry instead of Twiki during a trivia duel, causing him to lose. He drops this trait during his adulthood.

Rage Breaking Point

In "Lo, There Shall Be An Epilogue", having been disgusted by Bill's misogynistic rant towards his girlfriend was one thing, but when Jerry finds out Bill was the reason his old relationship with Agnes Zawatsky was ruined is what makes him finally lose it.

The Friend Nobody Likes

Other than Bill, the members do tend to down on Jerry for his meek demeanor.

Token Good Teammate

He's the most decent member of the group and the least confrontational.

The Parents of Jerry

Disappointed in You: Given that he's the most sane member of the club, Jerry's mom seems to be dissaspointed from her son's involvement in Joe's store burning.

In General

Four teenage "friends" ostensibly united by their shared love of pop culture. When they aren't grounded, they spend their days consuming and/or arguing about media, getting into fights with each other, and committing petty crime.

Tropes Applying to the Eltingville Club in General

Adaptational Attractiveness: Downplayed. The cartoon pilot's simpler art style causes their skin to look considerably clearer than it does in the comics and makes them less prone to pulling unsettling facial expressions.

Adaptational Nice Guy:

Downplayed. While they're still a bunch of entitled, violent assholes in the cartoon pilot, their friendship isn't quite as tenuous and they're shown getting along with each other more consistently. Their language is also considerably cleaner

Anti-Role Model:

With the arguable exception of Jerry, the four of them are walking examples of how not to act as a member of a pop culture fandom.

Fanboy:

All four of them are incredibly negative caricatures of the archetype, being obsessive and argumentative losers who actively ruin others enjoyment of various media properties while claiming to know better than them.

Four-Man Band:

Mild-mannered and weak-willed Jerry is the Only Sane Man. Abrasive Control Freak Bill is The Smart Guy. Nightmare Fetishist Pete is the Casanova Wannabe. Fat Comic Relief Josh is the Butt-Monkey.

Geek Physics:

Bill and Jerry are both lanky, Josh is overweight, and Pete is short. Bill and Josh also wear thick Nerd Glasses and all four have terrible skin.

Hot-Blooded:

With the exception of Jerry, every member of the group is prone to indignant anger and shouting.

Nerds Are Pervs:

All four are shown to have very involved pre-sleep masturbation rituals and to lust after virtually every Ms. Fanservice type character in pop culture. Josh and Pete also possess downright deranged sexual fetishes, with the latter being unable to maintain an erection if there isn't an equal amount of Gorn to porn onscreen.

The Movie Buff:

They all like to watch movies, even knowing that they will be bad just to be able to criticize them, and they have shown to know about movie casts, release years and even Oscars nomination dates.

Nerdy Bully:

Four nerds willing to steal toys from small children so that they can have doubles in their collection.

Teens Are Monsters:

They're all around 17 years old and are, at best, highly unpleasant people and, at worst, monstrous thugs who actively ruin the lives of the people around them.

With Friends Like These...:

They're quick to turn on each other for their own gain and can never make it through a single outing without it ending in a fight.

Would Hurt a Child:

The four of them are willing to steal, bully, and attack children smaller than them for collectible toys.

The Eltingville Club's Secretary of Fantasy and Role-Playing Games. The most mild-mannered of the group, he occasionally acts as its ineffectual voice of reason.

Most often, his friends and acquaintances call him simply Jerry

He looks more calm than the others in their club, has a catchphrase "Bee-dee Bee-dee Bee-dee" which uses at the beginning and end of a sentence, or when he's worried or shocked sometimes add the "Buck" or "okey Buck"

appearance

a blond man with disheveled medium-length hair that sticks out in different directions. there is a slight rash on the face and so a pretty well-groomed face. He wears a green sweater with horizontal stripes of a darker green color. he looks pretty thin, especially neat hands and fingers, what can you say about nails. He wears blue slightly bluer jeans and red converse with white laces. Jerry is the tallest guy in the club, although he is noticeably proud of not holding his posture.
