Appearance

Simon is depicted as a teenage boy with above-the-shoulder length hair and simple fashion typical of the early 2000s. His usual outfit is a black beanie, a flannel long-sleeved shirt over a black tee, and dark-blue jeans. Occasionally, he is also drawn with simple black or dark gray bracelets on one or both of his wrists. Strangely, his eye color is inconsistent between art pieces.

Simon, being styled after the culture of users of sites such as 4Chan and Kiwi Farms, is aggressively closed-minded and bigoted. story

Simon acted as the villain of Case 3, targeting Bri Rodez due to their race, gender and sexuality. His harassment primarily consisted of threatening messages, eventually escalating to sending mail to Bri's real address and finally, leaking unedited photographs of them, sending them into a spiral of deep anxiety and depression. This, of course, drew concern from their partner, Avery, who arranged a confrontation with Simon atop the roof of a tall building. Simon brought a gun to this confrontation with the intent of using it to threaten Avery into staying silent about his actions, but didn't intend to actually kill her. However, in two of the three revisions of Communications, he ended up accidentally firing the gun, severely injuring Avery. In both endings in which Avery was shot, both she and Simon were killed-- in one ending, she pulled him over the edge of the building as she fell, and in the other, Nathan appeared and pushed both of them. Which of these is the 'correct' ending is unclear. In 2017, Ghost officially added the Storytellers and changed alot of the storylines, including Case 3. The beginning is mainly the same except when Simon starts to harass the couple (Bri and Avery), they manage to fight back, being unaffected by his harassment. And after doxxing Bri, Bri’s family moved houses. This angered Simon, So he and his friend group devised a plan to “shake them up a little”. They would meet in a abandoned building and Simon would hide deep in the building while his friends would play “pranks” with some heavy risks. Simon himself would provide the biggest scare. Ghost wasn’t sure what these would be but there would be a 50/50 chance Bri and Avery would end up traumatized or dead. Simon’s friends were frightened at Simon’s willingness to go along with this plan, and decided to leak his plan to Bri and Avery. Simon’s friends and the couple would form a counter-plan and make sure to document everything he’s done to report him to authorities.
