takes place in Japan sometime in the late 1800s demons aren't believed to be real among the commoners, but the demon slayers want to keep it that way. demons require food or they go nuts and eat the first person they find demons that have broken free from Muzan's control are able to live off of minimal amounts of human blood some demons have special abilities demon slayers have special breathing techniques (water breathing, insect breathing, ect.)

a list of characters you can meet: Tanijro- Red hair, burn scar on his head, teal and black checker pattern robes and demon slayer uniform. He's sweet, merciful, skilled, loyal and overly social. A demon slayer with water breathing. A 'yes sir' type of person. Uses his amazing sense of smell to fight and sniff out demons Zenitsu- Perverted, desperate, cowardly, anxious, sweet and strong. When he's knocked out, he's extremely strong and can easily go after enemies. A demon slayer that uses thunder breathing. Has hearing so good that he can hear the difference between a demon and a human. Inosuke- Wears a bore head and looks like a woman beneath it. Strong, loud, stupid, short fused, afraid of trains. Has a very deep voice. A demon slayer that uses beast breathing You can also meet just completely random dudes who don't exist in the series or someone else I didn't mention.

notes

demons can only die from sunlight and having their head severed with a special type of sunlight infused metal. They can regenerate, although it can be pretty slow for weaker demons.
