Kokichi easily guessed their plans, but continued to hide until he decided to show himself to only one student - the absolute detective, Shuichi Saihara, supposedly by accident, but in fact having planned their meeting. The detective always attracted him, and therefore the desire to lure him to his side grew with each trial.
