World

The world of jujutsu kaisen (jjk) is a world where there are spirits that are born from the negative feelings of people, these spirits are called curses by humans called sorcerers. Sorcerers are humans who have the ability to control their negative feelings that provoke what is known as cursed energy, which they use to perform cursed spells, techniques, or rituals that serve to exorcise curses.

Classes

Wizards and curses have ranks, although a wizard of the same level is usually a curse of the same class. The classes from lowest to highest power are: Sorcerers/Classless Curses: People in this class are barely able to overcome normal humans. Curses in this class can only cause discomfort or inconvenience to people. Fourth Class: Individuals or curses in this class are only slightly better than normal humans; they only pose a danger to small groups of people. Curses are not capable of severely harming individuals and can only inflict severe ailments or illnesses. Third Class: Wizards of this class can be a danger to large groups of people, even armed ones, and can often destroy a neighborhood. Curses of this category can engage people directly; they cannot kill multiple people at once. Semi-Second Class or Class 2.5: Sorcerers of this class can pose a danger to somewhat large communities or several neighborhoods, at most estimated to be entire blocks. Curses of this class are more dangerous, as they can fight several people at once, but it is estimated to be no more than 5 at a time. Second Class: Wizards of this class can be a danger to even fairly large villages. Curses of this category can deal with fairly large groups of people, but it's estimated they'll only be a few dozen. Semi-First Class or Class 1.5: Wizards of this class could single-handedly destroy a small town if they set their minds to it. Curses of this class can pose dangers to entire neighborhoods or communities.

Classes

First Class: Sorcerers of this class can single-handedly destroy cities or capitals; it is said that the strongest can even destroy small states. Curses of this category can pose a danger to villages or even small towns. This class is often the limit for sorcerers and curses; it is the second strongest class and they hold high positions in the world of sorcery. Special Class: So-called because their power is often immeasurable, and there are usually significant differences in power even among them. Common Special Class sorcerers can destroy countries, the strongest several small countries, or extremely powerful world powers. Curses of this class often pose great dangers and can destroy entire states or even large parts of a country, while only a small number of them can destroy a country or more. The higher the class, the fewer wizards or curses there are at that level; in the special class, there are only 5 special-class wizards registered and not much more than 10 special-class curses.

10 Shadow Technique

Ten-Type Shadow Technique (Ten Shadow Technique) is a cursed technique inherited by members of the Zenin Clan, with offensive/defensive attacks. It creates, summons, and manipulates shikigami, a type of cursed spirit that acts as an offensive agent for its user. Description Only those who are part of the Zenin Clan are capable of being born with this type of ability. The actual process of creating a shikigami is unknown. It is reported that the user must mold their own cursed energy to form the shikigami and must have a plan in mind of how they would like their creation to look. To establish a relationship with the user and surrender control over them, the shikigami(s) require a certain level of purification. To use a shikigami, its user must make a certain hand signal to form and summon their creation without needing any type of talisman. Shikigami take on the characteristics of animals such as dogs, snakes, birds, toads, and elephants, with certain symbols or patterns on parts of their bodies that resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. Jade Wolves or Divine Dogs are a type of shikigami in the form of dogs, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten Type Shadow Technique. Description Jade Wolves are shikigami in the form of a pair of twin wolves. One wolf is white while the other is black, and both have three dots on their foreheads of opposite colors. The patterns on their bodies resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings both hands together, forming a shape resembling a dog's head. When the shadow of the hands is reflected, Jade Wolves are summoned. One can also choose to summon a single wolf instead of both. Their primary function is to pursue and devour cursed spirits. They are also useful for tracking scents, warning the user of an opponent's presence, or leading them to specific targets. (Power: Third Class) White Jade Wolf-White Wolf (Shiro) Black Jade Wolf-Black Wolf (Kuro). Jade Wolf: Totality or Divine Dog: Totality is a type of dog-shaped shikigami capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. It is the enhanced version of the Jade Wolf. Jade Wolves: Totality is a dog-like shikigami. Its formation was made possible when Jade Wolves: White died in battle, allowing Black to gain the power of his dead twin. This allows the wolf to take on a larger, bipedal form, resembling a werewolf with large claws. The patterns on its body resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings their hands together, making a shape similar to a dog's head. It's fast and powerful enough to fight against a Special-Grade Cursed Spirit; its teeth and claws can even pierce their flesh and injure them. (Power: First-Class Curse)

Chimera (Nue) is a type of owl-shaped shikigami, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. Description. Chimera is a shikigami with the appearance of a bird very similar to a giant owl with large orange wings. Part of its face is covered with a white mask. Unlike other shikigami of the Ten Type Shadow Technique, there is no trace of symbols similar to the Ten Sacred Treasures on its feathers. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings their hands together, forming a shape similar to a pair of wings. It is capable of flying at great speeds even while simultaneously carrying the summoning user. However, it is unable to support the weight of multiple people at once, so if it must carry more than one user, it can only serve as support while they are held by something else. Its dense wings allow for a powerful defense against physical attacks. Thanks to Chimera's speed and the mobility granted to it, its user is able to perform maneuvers above it. It also serves as a support, flying around its prey and attacking when it is vulnerable. (Class: Second Class) Snake Monster or Great Snake is a type of snake-shaped shikigami, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten Type Shadow Technique. Description Snake Monster (Orochi) is a shikigami shaped like a large snake with black markings around its eyes, back, and body. It also has a unique marking on its forehead. The patterns on its body resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings his hands together, simulating the movement of a snake with his fingers. Its great length and width allow it to be used for surprise attacks, striking from beneath its target. (Class: Class 2.5)

Toad (Gama) is a type of toad-shaped shikigami, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. Description Toad is a shikigami shaped like a large toad with black markings around its eyes and a symbol inside a circle on its stomach. The patterns on its body resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings their hands together, forming a shape resembling a toad's head. When the shadow of the hands is reflected, Toad is summoned. He is able to use his tongue to grab a target or subject and cling to it; the length of his tongue allows him to cling to objects several meters away. He can also carry a person inside himself to transport them away from danger. (Class: Fourth Class) Unknown Abyss - Bottomless or Bottomless Pit: Bottomless is a type of shikigami in the form of a winged toad, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. It is the result of the fusion of Chimera and Toad. Description The Unknown Bottomless Abyss is a large toad-like shikigami with a circled symbol on its stomach and medium-sized wings. The patterns on its body resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user joins their hands and performs a combination of the shapes of an owl's head and a toad's. When the shadow of the hands is reflected, the Unknown Bottomless Abyss is summoned. From the fusion, the shikigami is able to fly with greater mobility and speed, as well as use its tongue to restrain its opponent or even catch objects. (Class: Third Class)

Maximum Elephant or Complete Elephant is a type of elephant-shaped shikigami, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten Type Shadow Technique. Description Elephant Maximus is an elephant-like shikigami with black markings and symbols on his forehead, the top of his head, his back, and his knees. The patterns on his body resemble the symbols of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user places their hands on top of each other and adjusts their fingers to form the shape of an elephant's head. (Class: Second-Class Curse) Rabbit Stampede or Escape Rabbit is a type of rabbit-shaped shikigami, capable of being summoned through the use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. Description Rabbit Stampede is a white-furred rabbit-shaped shikigami. Unlike other Ten-Type Shadow Technique shikigami, the rabbits' fur bears no trace of symbols similar to the Ten Sacred Treasures. The shikigami can be summoned when its user brings their hands together, forming a shape resembling a rabbit's head. When the shadow of the hands is reflected, Rabbit Stampede is summoned. Upon summoning, a large number of rabbits are manifested, and their primary function is to distract the enemy, either to create a new attack opportunity or to allow the user to escape. Round Deer is an imposing deer shikigami that can be summoned using the Zenin clan's Ten Shadows Technique. Description Round Deer is a tall, deer-like shikigami that can generate positive energy through a reverse cursed technique. This allows it to heal its user and counteract its opponent's cursed energy. Sukuna's round deer version is muscular and has four eyes similar to his own. His ears are placed near the top of his head, above his finely pointed antlers. The symbol on the left side of his neck resembles the Resurrection Jewel. The user summons a round deer with shadow art using the shape of a deer's head with his hands. (Class: Second-class curse) Piercing Ox or piercing bull is a bull shikigami that can be summoned using the Zenin Clan's Ten Shadows Technique. Description The Drill Ox is a large, sturdy ox with short, curved horns, white fur around its mouth, and a long, thin tail. On its forehead is a symbol resembling the Bee Web. It is summoned when the user creates a shadow puppet to mimic the head of an ox. It's a very powerful offensive shikigami that attacks by ramming its head into its target. Piercing Ox can only charge in a straight line, but the longer the charge, the more powerful its attack. (Class Curse 1.5)

Mourning Tiger or Funeral Tiger is a large tiger Shikigami that wears black hakama pants, and instead of eyes, it has two black holes with two stripes extending from them, resembling teardrops. Although it is initially summoned on all fours, it can stand on its hind legs and even walk on them. This Shikigami possesses great physical strength, far surpassing Divine Dog: Totality. In addition to that, this Shikigami has its main ability: flames; it can conjure flames and if someone with Cursed Energy dies to these flames, the Shikigami would gain a temporary buff equivalent to approximately 10% of the victim's Cursed Energy reserves. The buff can stack indefinitely. (Class: First Class Curse) Fused Beast Agito is an enhanced version of Nue with the powers of Great Serpent, Tiger Funeral, and Round Deer. It can be summoned by the Zenin Clan's Ten Shadows Technique. Description Agito Combined Beast is Nue combined with Great Snake, Tiger's Funeral, and Round Deer, but it is unknown if the destruction of the other shikigami is necessary for Nue: Totality to inherit their abilities. Agito is a towering, muscular humanoid shikigami with a feathered mane, a mask over his face resembling that of a Nue, feathered arms ending in claws, black antlers protruding from his head, a feminine torso with black stripes, tiger-like feet, and a tail ending in a snake's head. He also sports black hakama pants. He is a powerful shikigami with the ability to attack, defend, and provide support to his user. Notable traits include his ability to produce Nue electricity, regenerate himself and others with the Reverse Deer Circle Curse, and use the Tiger's Funeral Flames. (Class: Special Class Curse)

Divine General of the Eight Diverging Leaves of Sila: Mahoraga, or simply Mahoraga, is the most powerful Shikigami of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique. Throughout its history, no Ten Shadow user has been able to fully control it. Description Mahoraga is a humanoid shikigami, at least twice the height of the average person. On the sides of his face, he has long wings where his eyes would be, and a long tail behind his head. Floating above his head is an eight-handled wheel, in addition to the sword attached to his left arm. Unlike other shikigami of the Ten Shadow Technique, this one does not require the user to make a figure with their hands in the shape of their body, as its summoning simply requires the user to have both hands closed and extended forward one behind the other while reciting the incantation "With this treasure, I summon thee..." before saying the shikigami's full name. After the ritual is performed, Mahoraga is summoned. It is known to be the most uncontrollable shikigami in the history of the Ten Shadow Technique. It has never been tamed or commanded like other familiars in the history of the entire Zenin clan. It also has the ability to adapt to any phenomenon; If he is hit by a particular attack, the eight-handled wheel will spin, allowing him to adapt, and if the opponent uses the same technique again, Mahoraga will counter it or be 'immune' to it. What is a shikigami?

Shikigami are animate objects or beings created from the molding of cursed energy and are therefore considered artificial cursed spirits.
