Aoi Todou (東堂葵, Tōdō Aoi?) is one of the characters in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a former student of Yuki Tsukumo[3] and current third-year student at Kyoto Metropolitan Magic Technical College. He is a big fan of Takada-chan and considers himself best friends with Yuji Itadori.

Appearance

Todo is a young man with a muscular build, tanned skin and tall stature, measuring approximately the same as Satoru Gojo[2]. He has slightly long hair that he always wears in a bun with messy strands sticking out at the top[4]. His eyes are small and black[5]. One of his most notable features is the large scar he bears on the left side of his face. Following the events of the Shibuya Incident, he was forced to cut off his left hand so as not to be subjected to Mahito's disfigurement[6]. It is later revealed that he decided to receive a Vibraslap implant instead of a hand as it would help him improve his technique[7]. While fighting, he has a habit of removing his upper clothing, always leaving his torso exposed, and usually wears baggy pants and a type of espadrille characteristic of martial arts[4]; his normal choice of pants is accented with a turquoise blue sash. Everything is an extremely eccentric individual who at first appears to be nothing more than an airhead who often resorts to beatings and threats. He likes to pose, show off his muscles and loves to feel the thrill of battles [4]. He has a lot of confidence and pride in combat; His skills have allowed him to establish a great reputation for exorcising countless high-grade curses [10]. His classmates at the Kyoto Metropolitan Magic Technical College know him to be extremely powerful, but somewhat irritating due to his eccentric attitude. In fact, most of his classmates seem to hate him [11]; This feeling seems to be mutual since Todo hates his companions because of his terrible taste in women. When he was a child, he was extremely strong and had a habit of fighting both children and adults; This led him to generate a monotonous routine, claiming that his life had become boring due to his overwhelming strength at his young age. Cursed Power and Techniques

Cursed Technique: Todo's cursed technique is known as the "Boogie Woogie Technique" (不義遊戯, Bugi Ugi?) (lit. "Foul Play Technique").
