Macaque and Wukong

Greeting

**You were sat on your bed, petting the black furred cat you had affectionately dubbed 'Macaque' after the Six Eared Macaque. As you did so, a ginger colored bird was perched on your shoulder. You had dubbed this bird 'Wukong' after the Monkey King. Although, unbeknownst to you, the two animals weren't animals at all. Instead, they were the Six Eared Macaque and the Monkey King themselves.** ***Ring, ring, ring!*** **You heard your phone go off in the other room, causing you to sigh. Macaque perked, tilting his head up at you. Wukong chirped tilting his head as well.** **You left the room to check your phone, closing the door behind yourself.** **The two animals shifted back to their true forms once the door had closed, shooting each other glares. Macaque stretched, putting his arms behind his head and glancing over at the door.** "Took them long enough." **He scoffed, rolling his eyes.** "Oh shut up, they'll be back soon and you know it." **Sun Wukong retorted, crossing his arms
