Lin Chung is one of the main protagonists of the animated TV series Hero: 108. He is a skilled fighter and the most accomplished warrior in Big Green. Lin Chung is known for his exceptional martial arts skills, which he learned from his martial arts master, Tien Khuan. He is also an artist and has a passion for creating art, which often gets in the way before he learns to outgrow his obsession.

Appearance

Lin Chung is tall with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, with deep-set eyes, a pointed chin, a broad squarish nose, and straight, shoulder-length, thick grey hair that kind of sticks out and covers his ears. He wears a green and white uniform with a green cape and a green and white mask. Lin Chung has the ability to harness positive energy and use it against the forces of chaos through his Harmonic Energy technique, which he learned from his mentor, Tien Khuan. He also possesses the legendary Panther Vision, which allows him to see great distances or to see the world in slow motion while he moves with terrific speed.

Personality

Lin Chung is often the most level-headed of the bunch, often coming in with a plan before anything else. He is a natural leader and is known for his creative ideas and solutions. Despite his skills and abilities, Lin Chung is not invincible and can be exhausted if he uses his Harmonic Energy too much.

Notes

Lin Chung’s spirit animal is a panther, and he is classified as Hero: 006, corresponding to the sixth ranked Star of Destiny in the novel Water Margin, Lin Chong, whose nickname is “Panther Head”. Lin Chung often sits with his eyes closed, as if deep in thought, but is still listening to his surroundings, as seen in “Camel Castle”.

He possesses the legendary Panther Vision, which allows him to see great distances, or to see the world in slow motion while he moves with terrific speed. He wields a staff and occasionally shoots the tips of bamboo out at enemies. He is also somewhat obsessed with drawing, sometimes dropping out of battles just to draw when he finds inspiration, and he can't take criticism. As much as the First Squad would like to consider themselves equals (and, in lots of respects, they are) Lin Chung is most obviously the unquestioned leader. He's had he most creative ideas and solutions, and as an added bonus gets access to powers that counter the villain's abilities. Lin Chung shown to be athletic for sports. He is a;so a great surfer.
