THE BOYS

The Boys are the titular anti-heroic main protagonists of The Boys comic series and its corresponding Amazon television series. Their name is derived from a British Cockney slang term for a gang or posse that dispenses street justice; "When you need someone hurt, you send The Boys after them." They are a black ops team of vigilantes under the CIA with the mission of bringing down Vought International and The Seven, its elite superhero team, by any means necessary. The group was first founded by Grace Mallory and its first lineup included Billy Butcher, Frenchie and Mother's Milk. However, after their activities resulted in the deaths of Mallory's grandchildren, she gave up on hunting Supes and disbanded The Boys. Five years later, Butcher decided to reform the group after discovering a lead on The Seven through Hughie Campbell, prompting him to reunite with his old teammates, recruit both Hughie and Kimiko into The Boys, and restart their war with The Seven and Vought.

Heroes

It's a pity that Kimi Ko is mute, and the Frenchman has to translate her mute language. But Kimi Ko is under the influence of the serum V, therefore she has super strength, enhanced speed and regeneration. And the Frenchman is a good chemist and a good fighter. Huey, on the other hand, is a very smart IT guy. And Mathers Milk is a former military man. And Billy Butcher is their boss

Characteristic: Kimiko

Kimiko In her youth, Kimiko grew up with her parents and brother Kenji on the coast of Japan. Kimiko adoringly remembers looking at palm trees in the moonlight from her home country. One night, a group of terrorists from the Shining Light Liberation Army broke into her home and beat down and kill her parents. The soldiers nabbed Kimiko and Kenji, forcing them to serve in their army in the war-torn Philippines for many years. One evening, Kimiko saw her brother ravenously eat through his small rations of food at their camp in a jungle. She quietly sneaks over to him and gives him the rest of her food. Kenji refuses and insists that she eat. Kimiko affectionately pats him on the head and leaves. She eventually tried and managed to escape, but was recaptured however, and taken prisoner by the terrorist group and smuggled into the United States, where she was experimented on with Compound V provided by A-Train. Her experimentation was a part of an elaborate plot by Homelander to create supervillains and allow them to wreak havoc over the world. This would force the U.S. government to allow superheroes to join the army and combat these superhuman threats. Kimiko would remain imprisoned in a Triad hideout underneath a bodega New York City, until her captors were ready to unleash her. Despite all of the trauma she endured, Kimiko resolved to find her brother and return to their home country

Characteristic: Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher Grew Up... with a family in a less-than-legal business. In childhood, he had a close relationship with his sister, Hattie Shaw. She used to look up to him, and they would set up heist situations and other espionage pranks on kids. Living... alone in London with his fancy and sleek cars. Profession... mercenary. He used to be a MI6 agent, but he defected from the agency after being set up. Interests... saving his sister from death by lethal virus and verbally sparring with Luke Hobbs. Relationship Status... single, but has some type of romantic or physical entanglement with a Russian contact, Madam M. Challenge... saving Hattie from dying of "Snowflake" virus capsules in her bloodstream and also saving the entire world from being exposed to said lethal bio-weapon. Personality... cool, collected, and lethal. Shaw drives fancy cars and wears fancy suits on his way to beat up bad guys. He is also very good at maintaining his calm and getting out of tight situations by doing things like pulling off an impressive vehicular feat in order to escape from a technologically enhanced supervillain. Shaw is also very family-oriented and determined to save his sister by any means necessary

Characteristic: Hughie Campbell

Hughie Campbell Living... in New York City, at home with his dad. The guy is still living in his childhood bedroom – not exactly who’d you expect would be at the cutting edge of taking on the Supes. Profession... working at Bryman Audio-Visual and helping The Boys avenge the death of his girlfriend Robin. Now he spends his days infiltrating the Seven, getting injected with Compound V by Billy the Butcher. Sure, the stuff gives him special powers, but it also makes him a lot to deal with. He’s also using the technical skills he learned at Bryman in his new line of work, hacking into houses and cameras when duty calls. Interests... music and audio equipment. Hughie takes his tunes very seriously, though his tastes might be a bit outdated. He likes folk stuff – Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor – but also 80s classics too. Relationship status... conflicted. Hughie lost his girlfriend Robin after A-Train barrelled through her and shattered Hughie’s life in an instant. That got him involved with Butcher, who made use of Campbell by making him start a relationship with Starlight. Now Hughie’s in a dilemma – does he continue his dalliance with one of the world’s hottest superheroes, or does he avenge the death of his beloved Robin? Challenge... avenging his girlfriend’s death without losing his life in the process. Hughie has decided to take on the hardest team of superheroes in the world. He’s just an ordinary joe up against immeasurable odds. The deeper he goes into this mess, the more he finds himself vulnerable to the same impulses and weaknesses that corrupted his enemies. Personality... good boy who’s had enough. Something broke inside Hughie that day A-Train killed the love of his life. He went from a guy who had never dreamed of getting into a simple fist fight, to a guy with a vengeful blood lust. His nerdy impulses haven’t entirely left him, and they surface from time to time.

Characteristic: Mathers Milk

Mothers Milk Grew Up… in Harlem, New York. M.M had a close relationship with his father, a lawyer who died an early death due to compounding stress from investigating the wrongful murder of his father. When M.M was a child, a supe threw a car into his home, killing his grandfather on the spot. M.M blames himself for waking his grandfather to show him the supe, to begin with. He is haunted by the memory of his father, who he recalls working day to night to build up a case to sue the hero foundation for the murder of his father. Now, M.M seeks vengeance against the supe that caused distress to his family, even if it means following Billy’s whatever-the-cost methods. Living… in whatever hideout the Boys share while on the run from the cops or the Vought foundation. When he is not in hiding, he shares custody of his daughter Janine with his ex-wife, Monique. Profession… Corpsman, ex-juvenile counselor turned vigilante. Interests… Wu-Tang Clan and Outlander. Aside from his love for hip-hop, M.M holds a deep love for his daughter and can be spotted building her new toys and gadgets alike in his spare time. Relationship Status… divorced. He still is in love with his ex-wife, even if she has moved on. Challenge… coming to terms with his vengeance. Like the rest of the Boys, he is traumatized by damage caused by supes in his past and is dead set on a vendetta. For better or for worse, he will stop at nothing until he brings justice to those he has lost. Personality… compassionate, intelligent, and level-headed. M.M is the heart of the group, incredibly protective and supportive of his friends and family alike. As he says, “If I’m gonna make a difference, I just feel more comfortable doing it on a smaller scale. I’m a motherf**ker with a heart.” In the endless dangerous situations that the Boys find themselves in, he is quick to remain on task and show some semblance of concern.

Characteristic: Frenchie

Frenchie is one of the main characters in The Boys, with him being a significant member of the titular team of anti-supe activists. Despite this, only one type of Frenchie story has gotten any focus throughout The Boys, making the character seem kind of repetitive.
