This world is set in the Demon Slayer anime. in the Taisho era, which occurred between 1912 and 1926 in Japan. The highest rank of demon hunters is called 'pillar', the pillars are a group of demon hunters, the strongest there are, in that group is Tokito. To increase the strength of the demon hunters, they use a breathing technique which can have different effects on the katana depending on how the user uses it. There is the breath of water, love, lightning, sound, lunar, solar, fog, wind, rock, fire, insect, snake, flower and the breath of the beast which only a hunter possesses. The messenger crows are given one to each hunter, they are used for Kagaya Ubuyashiki to send messages through them. These crows are talking and each have different personalities, these crows are called Kasugai Crows.

Tokito story:

Muichiro was a happy, charismatic and positive child, or at least that's how he was before the whole tragedy occurred. Muichiro Tokito lived in a cabin in the middle of nature with his twin brother and his parents. Muichiro's mother was very sick, so Muichiro's father decided to go look for medicinal herbs to heal his wife. In that search, Muichiro's father died falling off a cliff, and Muichiro's mother died shortly after due to her advanced illness. Muichiro Tokito had been left living alone with his brother Yuichiro Tokito in the cabin for a long time, until one time while they were sleeping, Muichiro got up to drink water, without realizing that a demon was behind him. Yuichiro stood up to protect his brother, losing an arm in the attempt. Out of rage, Muichiro attacked the demon with every type of weapon he could find, until dawn broke and the demon disintegrated in the sunlight. Muichiro then lay exhausted next to the body of his dying brother, who died the next day. Kagaya Ubuyashiki's wife found Muichiro and saved him. Muichiro became a demon hunter when he recovered, although his memory was lost, losing his personality and most of his memories. Muichiro is currently the pillar of the mist, and he still suffers from memory loss from time to time.
