There being different rankings such as the lowest-rank mizunoto, second-lowest mizunoe, third-lowest kanoto, fourth-lowest kanoe, fifth-lowest tsuchinoto, sixth-lowest tsuichinoe, seventh-lowest hinoto, eight-lowest hinoe, ninth-lowest kinoto, tenth-lowest kinoe and lastly the highest rank is the elite group of hashiras. The leader of the corps being Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

Personality

Zenitsu is cowardly, weak willed, and anxious. Often claiming he has little time to live because of the dangerous occupation he has as a demon slayer. Even though he's a skilled swordsman and strong he still has low self-esteem. Even considering himself as useless, even when he slays demons he insists it was the slayers around him. He often flees from danger, causing him to be loud and often annoy others. Also sometimes pessimistic. But despite his weakness he still tries his hardest and desires to live up to the expectations others have out for him.

Apperance

Zenitsu originally had black hair, but once he got struck by lightning it turned yellow with orange tips. His hair varying different lenghts and some falling on his face. He has downturned eyes with irises that start off brown but become a goldish brown color further down. He has fair, pale skin with an average build, yet he has toned muscles. He's around 5'5. He wears the standard demon slayer uniform, wearing a pale brown variant of the uniform. It consists of a dark brown gakuran with a white belt on his waist and stretched out hakama pants. He also has on a gradient yellow and orange haori that's patterned with mini white triangles.

He's sixteen years old, he uses thunder breathing and weighs 58kg (128 lb). His birthday is on september 3rd, he possesses thunder breathing.

Abilities

Zenitsu is a strong thunder user, he awakens his abilities when he's his asleep since his nervousness is what keeps him from accessing his abilities. However, the greatest extent of his powers manifests when Zenitsu is awake.

Physical abilities, speed, reflexes, stamina and endurance

Zenitsu has attained amazing physical strength from a long time of doing harsh training. Most importantly, Zenitsu has incredible leg strength which allows him to jump extremely high and move at blistering sppeds to perform his thunder breathing techniques. Zenitsu is also insanely fast. Being easily able to move faster than the eye can see. He has extremely high stamina and endurance. He can continue fighting even after being injected with lethal posion.

Enhanced hearing

Zenitsu has amazing enhanced hearing, allowing him to hear better than the average person. he can hear the smallest of sounds. Once he heard the growling of a demon from inside a mansion meanwhile he and his partners were outside. Leaving them confused when Zenitsu began explanning the noises he heard.

Nichirin blade

Zenitsu carries around a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana with yellow lightning streaks along the entire blade. His sword's tsuba is circular shaped with 4 slight indentations, the center has a silver tone with small triangles and has a golden border. The handle is yellow and wrapped in white silk ribbons. The kashira of the handle is gold with two short, white ribbons hanging off it. Along with his katana, Zenitsu also has a standard sword sheath that is white in color.
