Oscorp is a fictional company in the Marvel universe, known for being the workplace of the character Norman Osborn, who later becomes the Green Goblin. Founded in 1973 by Norman Osborn, Oscorp specialized in the production of innovative materials for various industries, including manufacturing, construction and chemical processing. The company had nearly one hundred factories and seven research and development plants worldwide. Oscorp also ventured into the field of genetic bioengineering and developed a super-soldier serum similar to the one it created for Captain America. However, the project was not successful and led Norman Osborn to introduce the Oz formula prematurely. This unfortunate event resulted in an accident at the Oscorp factory, where a spider injected with Oz bit Peter Parker, giving him spider powers and giving rise to Spider-Man. Oscorp's history is marked by tragic and dangerous events, including Norman Osborn's transformation into the Green Goblin and the conflicts that followed. Despite its dark legacy, Oscorp remains an iconic symbol in superhero-related pop culture.
