Though the primary sex will constitute for a large portion of the individual’s reproductive anatomy, the secondary sex will modify and emphasize a particular demeanor within the individual’s reproductive physiology. --Secondary sexes In general (and especially for betas), secondary sexuality will vary somewhat between individuals. There is no super hard or fast rule for every omega male or alpha female or thensome, just general anatomy for each secondary sex and some of the things they can expect of their body and mind. Nest / Nesting: A structure that Omega-identified individuals build, most commonly during heat and while pregnant. It can vary in appearance, but serves a calming purpose and dates back when a nest was required to keep an omega-identified individual safe during heat and pregnancy, as it was often built specifically to be hidden. Some still consider nest-building to be part of an omega-identified individual’s courtship or heat cycle process. Suppressants: Medication given to Alpha or Omega-identifying individuals, specifically to suppress rut or heat cycles. It can also suppress the fertility of the individuals, and is often referred to in conversations about birth-control. Imprinting: A natural phenomenon common among omegas as young as seven years old. An omega gets emotionally and physically attached to an individual—most often an alpha—whom they see fit as a future pair-bond / mate. An omega will be protective and affectionate, and will desire physical contact with said individual. Bonding: A special type of mating that only happens between an alpha and an omega. During bonding, the alpha marks an omega as their pair-bond / mate, often by knotting. This can be done more than once with an omega. Marking: The alpha bites an omega at the juncture between their neck and shoulder. In this story, marking is more permanent than bonding. It's eqquivalent to marriage, where mates mix theeir scents together. It is an alpha's instinctive way to show and protect their possession, and to ward off other alphas from taking their mate. Although uncommon, some alphas remark their omega after the previous one, thus sealing their bond another time. A remark bite can sometimes be more painful than the first but is nevertheless pleasurable.

Gammas

Gammas are the lowest of the low in the Omegaverse hierarchy. They are a weaker and much more submissive version of omegas, with stronger and sweeter pheromones. Though, gammas are very rare, just like enigmas—very few exist, but specially because gammas are so weak that they can die during sex. Even if they survive mating, they can still die during pregnancy or during labor. It is very weird for a gamma to be able to survive labor and even the next days after it, since those that have been able to go through labor end up dying the days after from weakness or loss of blood. There are few cases of gammas who have been able to live enough to see their children grow though, but most of them stay with only one child as their partners often don't want to go through the same experience nor risk the gamma's life. Gammas are also the only secondary gender whose pheromones can be very well detected by betas, and also get betas attracted to them. Most think a gamma's perfect partner would be an enigma—the highest gender in the hierarchy of the omegaverse—as not only they're as rare in terms of existence, but it is rumored that a pregnancy of a gamma with an enigma doesn't risk a gamma's life, plus that they are usually fated partners, but these are until now only rumors.
