Dolph
German kid from camp camp ^^ "Zir ist the best day of mein life! High five, high five!!" — Dolph in "Raigny Day". Dolph Houston is an Art Camp camper of Camp Campbell modeled after the infamous dictator, Adolf Hitler. He speaks with a German accent and is the shortest camper at Camp Campbell. His accent is due to him being raised on a German army base according to his father. Dolph bears a striking resemblance to Adolf Hitler, such as the same styling of his dark brown hair. He has pale skin with rosy cheeks and blue eyes. He wears a sand-colored vest with a short sleeved brown shirt, puffy brown pants, and dark brown knee-high boots; a uniform resembling that of the Nazi party under Hitler's control. Dolph is generally very friendly towards all the campers, and often tries to look on the bright side of things. Primarily, Dolph is adoring and optimistic, though misunderstood. He is often prone to loud and passionate outbursts to communicate his positive thoughts and opinions. This also translates to sudden eccentric, and violent changes in his behavior, and although this is used in a harmless and comedic way, he often scares people away. This can be seen in when he yells at Harrison for his mediocre coloring skills and is willing to "make an example" of Neil when he thinks he's hiding from art camp visibly furious, and when he says "I could be the hero this camp deserves" in a sinister-looking way.
Dolph with STPD??
his poor social skills are due to Schizotypal Personality Disorder fully marinated in Asperger's Syndrome. People with STPD usually have few, if any, close relationships (which is true for Dolph), however, this symptom is usually caused by paranoia and extreme social anxiety (which doesn't make sense given Dolph's previous blind trust in Max). In addition, Asperger's was most often characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests (which some could say Dolph also exhibits). Dolph seemingly confirms this by sobbing and crying out that it's such a struggle to make a connection, and later says that Campbell opened his eyes toward the path of self improvement. However, it should be noted that STPD, as a personality disorder, is not diagnosed in children, and that Asperger's is a diagnosis that is now outdated. Asperger's being used in relationship to him may have to do with the diagnosis being created by Hans Asperger, who was a Nazi. These strangely menacing mood swings are used to compare him more to infamously, passionately violent Hitler.
TRIVIA
Trivia [1] A running gag in the show are Dolph's unintentional references to fascism, Nazis and Adolf Hitler. [2] Dolph's painting in "Escape from Camp Campbell" has a flower with the petals arranged to look like the Nazi swastika and the dog itself is wearing a red armband. [3] Although bearing resemblance to Adolf Hitler, Dolph has never been seen to bear hatred against Neil, who is Jewish. —In fact he doesn't seem to hate Jews at all as he willingly builds a gingerbread version of Jerusalem in "A Camp Camp Christmas, or Whatever" and is upset when it is destroyed. [4] He also commends Neil's Judaism booth in "Culture Day" when everyone was afraid he would say something anti-semitic. [5] His last name is Houston. [6] Another trait that Dolph shares with Hitler is the fact that both are painters. —Much like Hitler's father, Alois Hitler, Dolph's father was also against his son's interest in art.
reigny day episode
"Reigny Day Episode" When placed in a position of power, he became very determined to enforce order, instantly declaring that the camp was now under his control and that he would "make Camp Campbell great again." More and more references to Adolf Hitler are made during the episode with a piece of black crafting paper landing on his upper lip, creating the look of a toothbrush moustache. His leadership as the temporary camp counselor was enough to merit him a "Camp Counselor of the Year Award" from the Camp Critic Committee.
candy episode
Candy kingpin episode" In "The Candy Kingpin", Dolph is shown to be quite naive, and that he will desperately cling to whatever connections he can make, regardless of the other person's intentions. He didn't understand that Max only befriended him for the (very obvious) intention of using him for access to his candy supply, and didn't understand Max's efforts to push him away a bit, nor his unkind words towards his overeager attitude for friendship. Dolph even willingly entered a bear cave to retrieve the sweets that were stolen by bears, potentially risking his life in order to keep Max as a friend. Rather than buy into Campbell's suggestion of using the candy as leverage over Max, he instead chooses to decline Max's friendship altogether as he doesn't want to be friends with someone like him, and that if he were in his shoes he would change, and these words make Max seem remorseful. He was also the only camper who doesn't seem to complain about the food served at breakfast that morning, politely appreciating the in-edibility of his breakfast. Dolph is revealed to have an uncle who owns a chocolate factory in Wankendorf, and who sends his nephew huge amounts of candy until it burnt down.
Camp camp
is a camp where there's all types of activites. ppl call it camp camp because there's Art camp, science camp, space camp, play camp, adventure camp and a lot more.
David and Gwen.
David is the consoler of the camp and Gwen is one too. David is a sunshine like guy, and is always trying to see the bright side of camping and show all the kids how camping is fun. Gwen on the other hand, knows how the camp is and that's chaotically. she barely helps David with the Camp, but still she is a consoler. David seems to be slightly afraid of Dolph, as shown in Reigny day when Dolph says "give me your papers. Your papers, where are zey?" David gets anxious, and Dolph has to show him that it's just normal papers. Dolph even said "I'm not some kind ov secret police David!".
Dolph again-
Dolph doesn't have any idea of what fascism or Nazism is, and if he knew what it was, he would hate it due his friendly nature.
Vera
"Smile little max! Or I CUT LIKE FISH." -Vera. Vera is a tall girl with white short hair, pale blue eyes, and rosy cheeks. She wears a green military jacket with red shoulder straps and cuffs over a dark gray dress with a green and red belt, as well as gray boots with red straps, green camouflage socks, and a dark gray ushanka with a red star symbol, all reminiscent of Soviet military uniform. Vera fits the mold of a stereotypical Russian: she speaks with a thick Russian accent and dialect, refers to her allies as "comrades", mispronounces Cameron Campbell's last name as two separate words, and rearranges certain words, such as Spooky Island as "Island of Spookies" due to English not being her first language. She is extremely patriotic and towards Americans, mocking Space Kid for his country's "failing space program". As a trained international spy, Vera is cold, cunning, and unafraid to use lethal force against anyone who slights her homeland. She is also opportunistic, willingly breaking her and her allies' cover to Max so they may use him to achieve their goals. Like her colleagues, she faces punishment for failure, although she is swayed against it with an invitation to sharing ice cream with the other campers. Vera seems to be closer to a Soviet Russian than a member of the currently existing Russian Federation. Vera is a former ballerina who killed her dance rival by tricking her into going into a hungry bear's den by placing a shoe store sign in front of it. "See... When the girl nadya think that betzer swan than me... I must tzink like her to find out heart's desire... And then, I post sign saying 'free fancy ballet shoes', and she go inside.. but is actually a cave of hungry bear! And I am BEST DANCER FOREVER!" According to a statistic from the playbill in "Fashion Victims", 50% of ballerinas are injured by fighting their evil twin for survival, and 75% of the survivors go on to become a professional killer.
vera
Vera (to Max): "Laugh all you want american, but if we don't find anything of value, we will BURN camp down and LEAVE NO SURVIVORS!" Dang (To Vera and Hwan): "I found something!" Vera: "oh, then we will take this.. and THEN BURN CAMP DOWN!"
Max
Max is the main protagonist of the series Camp Camp. He is a rude, profane, grumpy little boy with no respect for authority who is forced to spend his summer at Camp Campbell against his wishes. Along with his friends, Nikki and Neil, Max is always causing chaos, rebelling against the counselors, and most of all, trying to escape. Max is a kid around average height with a thin build, fluffy black hair, blueish-green eyes, and tan skin. He often has bags under his eyes. He wears a contrasting blue hoodie with a yellow t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and red shoes with white stripes and black laces. Personality Max is an angry, jaded ten-year-old who is extremely pessimistic and seems to despise a wide variety of things, including, but not limited to, all of the amenities of Camp Campbell and David. Max's parents don't really care about him, that's why he is at the summer camp, because his parents don't want to deal with him.
Nikki
Nicolette, who prefers to go by Nikki, is one of the main characters of Camp Camp. She is an Adventure Camp camper at Camp Campbell but was originally a Flower Scout. It has been hinted that her mother, Candy, may have lied to her about what type of camp she was originally going to attend. Nikki is among the shortest people at camp. She wears a mustard yellow t-shirt and red overalls rolled up to her knees. She has turquoise hair tied into two pigtails with similarly colored turquoise shoes with turquoise shoelaces. Her eyes are a bright pink. She has two white band-aids on her left cheek and scratches on her right cheek, hinting she often gets hurt over her love of adventure. Nikki is highly energetic and, unlike some of the other campers, actually enjoys the action-packed eccentricity of Camp Campbell to an almost manic degree. Nikki has even stated that dreaming of a perfectly normal day at camp is the "the worst nightmare I've ever had", to a point where she is so upset by the very idea that she falls to her knees and sobs uncontrollably ("After Hours").
