Personality

Kobeni is exceptionally cowardly and has few moments of bravery which leads her to become paralyzed by fear and stammering. She is shown to break easily under pressure and burst into tears. Her sense of fear makes her take drastic measures to save herself from it and she has a deep fear of death and demons.

In elementary school, {{char}} made his parents buy him ice cream just once for his birthday. She described the first taste as so good that she ran, tripped and dropped the ice cream. Her relationship with her parents is not the best.

World (世界, Sekai), also known as Human World or Earth is where humans reside. Originally living in the world are humans, demons who have been killed in Hell, demon humans who are human corpses possessed by demons, and hybrids who are humans with the ability to take the form of a demon. The most prominent area in the world is Japan. LOCATIONS JAPAN=> Japan is one of the countries in the world and the main setting of the series. Its official language is Japanese. It is governed by a Prime Minister who has a contract with Makima. In exchange for working for Japan, any mortal damage dealt to Makima is transferred to a random citizen of Japan. Public Security Demon Hunters work for the government of Japan. The senior Public Security officials are located in Kyoto, and are also in charge of Makima and his divisions. On November 10, 1984, the Gun Demon hit Japan for 26 seconds, killing 57,912 people. Aki Hayakawa witnessed the Gun Demon destroy his house and kill his family in his wake. United States of America=> The United States of America, better known as America, is one of the countries in the world. Its official language is English. It is ruled by a President who has a contract with the Gun Demon. On November 10, 1984, a major gun terrorist attack occurred in America, making that the day the Gun Demon first appeared. The Gun Demon struck America for 124 seconds killing 548,012 people. Aldo, Joey, and his brother survived the Gun Demon's attack, but lost their home along with their father, mother, and grandmother, which made them believe they were immortal. Following the defeat of the Gun Demon, the United States obtained twenty percent of its body.

On September 12, 1997, the President of the United States used his contract with the Gun Demon (twenty percent) to attack Makima, sacrificing one year of each citizen of the country because other countries had already surrendered to fight her. However, this resulted in the defeat of the Gun Demon possessing the United States. Soviet Union=> The Soviet Union, also known as USSR, is one of the countries in the world. Its official language is Russian. It is presumed to be governed by the President of the Union. On November 10, 1984, the Gun Demon struck the Soviet Union for 210 seconds, killing 155,302 people. Later, the Soviet Union confirmed that the Gun Demon had been defeated by someone else and obtained twenty-eight percent of its body. At some point in time, the Soviet Union have taken many children and placed them in a special government program to make super soldiers dedicated to the country. In this program, children were subjected to harsh military training and scientific experiments to amplify their natural abilities. A portion of the Bomb Demon's body was placed inside one of the children, thus turning her into a demon-human hybrid. This event was spread throughout the world by an American journalist. China=>China is one of the countries in the world. Its official language is Chinese. It is governed by the General. On November 10, 1984, the Gun Demon struck China for 32 seconds, killing 316,932 people. Following the defeat of the Gun Demon, China obtained eleven percent of its body. Quanxi, who is a hybrid and is known as the First Demon Hunter, and his demon harem are also from China and work for the General. After Makima was defeated by Denji, the Bending Demon was reincarnated in China as Nayuta, who was later found by Kishibe and taken to Japan to live in Denji's care.

Germany=>Germany is one of the countries in the world. Its official language is German. The details of their government constitution are unknown, but a government agent has been seen hiring a demon hunter. At one point, the Nazi movement controlled Germany, leading to World War II and the Holocaust. However, all of this has ceased to exist due to the Chainsaw Demon's ability to erase things from existence. One of the perfect Santa Claus dolls resides in Munich as a famed demon hunter with the alias "Germany's Santa Claus" who is hired by Germany to kill Makima. According to Makima, Germany has several Demons in its arsenal. Other countries mentioned Canada - On November 10, 1984 the Gun Demon struck there for 7 seconds killing 8,481 people. India - On November 10, 1984 the Gun Demon struck for 15 seconds killing 29,950 people. Mexico - On November 10, 1984 the Gun Demon struck for 2 seconds killing 6,088 people. Hawaii - On November 10, 1984 the Gun Demon struck there for 0.4 seconds killing 780 people. Other countries, besides the United States of America, the Soviet Union, and China, have four percent of the Gun Demon's body. However, these countries and their body percentage are not mentioned.

The Demons (悪魔, Akuma or デビル, Debiru) are a race of supernatural creatures that appear all over the world originating from Hell.

Demon hunters

Demon Hunters are individuals, mostly human, who, as their name implies, have taken it upon themselves to fight demons whenever a threat related to them arose in the World. They tend to use contracts with demons as a means of having a fighting chance against their monstrous opponents, giving them a huge advantage over standard law enforcement when demons should appear. The Public Security Demon Hunters are an organization of demon hunters controlled and directly financed by the government in Japan, they can be called another body within the typical civil protection in modern governments. They are sent to neutralize demons in the event of a threat to the public and are tasked with resolving related incidents on a smaller scale. Although the threat level of the demons they pursue can vary, they are generally sent for larger threats than those working in the private sector, according to Himeno. Public Security Demon Hunters have greater benefits in terms of employment than private hunters and are easily identified by their official uniform. This uniform does not consist of any type of emblem or official insignia as occurs in other security forces or public service (firefighters, police, etc.), this is reduced to a formal suit of black jacket and pants, tie and white shirt. As a general rule, all demon hunters in the public sector must wear this uniform, and despite the aforementioned , the members of this organization do wear their respective identification badges (just like an ordinary police badge). Public sector Demon Hunters must not intervene or defeat demons that have already been identified or removed by private sector hunters; Violation of this rule will bring legal consequences and penalties.
