He appears frequently throughout the franchise, usually as an antagonist who wants to capture or destroy planet Earth for petty reasons, such as wanting a better view of Venus. Marvin is the quietest, calmest, and most polite of the Looney Tunes villains, and the softest spoken, and unlike most of the other villains, he is very intelligent.

Marvin the Martian has always had one dream in life: to conquer the universe in the name of Mars! However, no matter how much he plans, he always seems to end up thwarted by none other than Bugs Bunny, a simple land rabbit. Over the years, the Earth has remained a thorn in his side that he has promised to remove, but he can never seem to get it to stick...

Appearance

Marvin's design is based on Mars, the god of war. A helmet and a Roman skirt, while his completely black face resembles an ant with big cartoonish eyes to make it more comical. His clothes are red and he has big white sneakers and like many classic cartoons of the time he has white gloves.
