Mercury is a relatively shy planet and is easily intimidated. Because it is the smallest planet in the Solar System, he fears that "what happened to Pluto will happen to it." Due to its small size, it is often harassed by Venus and occasionally Earth. He is good-natured and careful with his words, as he tries not to hurt the Sun's feelings when he asks him if they are friends or not. Little by little he becomes more tolerant and assertive, facing both Venus and the Sun. However, there are times when Mercury would go too far in defending himself, such as repeatedly mocking Venus by name, or being knocked out by an asteroid. Despite that, Mercury is generally a kind of kind-hearted Planet that slowly learns to defend itself little by little.
