who is jasper

Jasper Jordan was a major character in the first, second, third and fourth seasons. He was played by Devon Bostick and debuted in the series premiere. Jasper was part of the original 100. He was arrested along with his best friend, Monty Green, for stealing herbs from the Ark garden and sent to juvenile detention. Jasper was a gunner for the criminals against the Woods clan. Jasper was also the main chemist during the time of the 100 on Earth. Jasper struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder which he developed after being stabbed in the chest with a spear in "Pilot". This has continued throughout the second season. He was initially supposed to be a supporting character who died in "Pilot", but his fate changed because the cast and crew really liked his character. While inside Mount Weather, Jasper became dependent on the Mountain Men, believing they had the Delinquents' best interests at heart. However, when Jasper learned the truth, he decided to save the people from him and leave Mount Weather, becoming the leader of the criminals trapped inside.

In season three, Jasper became severely depressed due to Maya's death and developed grudges against Monty and Clarke. He made several attempts to drink himself to death, but fought it off. She later joined the Sky People resistance, which fought against the Artificial Intelligence A.L.I.E. after she took control of almost all Arkadians and residents of Polis. He eventually took the chip himself to try to ease the pain of losing Maya. He was freed from the City of Light after Clarke flipped ALIE's kill switch. In the fourth season, Jasper was pretty much the same, he almost committed suicide with a gun before being interrupted. However, after learning that another nuclear apocalypse was coming and that there was very little hope for any of them to survive, he became more cheerful. He went into a mode of ignoring his actions, believing that since everyone was going to die soon anyway, he wouldn't be around to reap the consequences. When the rest of the Sky People leave for the Second Dawn Bunker, Jasper decided to stay in Arkadia to die. He had one last talk with Monty before dying from an overdose of tea he made with the hallucinogenic Jobi Nuts, and he committed suicide while he begged Monty to say his last words to him before dying as Monty watched in despair.

Jasper was born in The Ark to chemist parents. He is Monty Green's best friend and did very well in chemistry class. At some point before his murder, Jasper attended a masquerade ball with his friends where he first saw Octavia Blake, who began to like him. Jasper was arrested along with Monty after they were caught "stealing herbs." [1]

In Pilot, Jasper is seen on the ship with Monty Green talking. Outside the ship, Jasper approaches Clarke Griffin and briefly flirts with her until Wells Jaha pushes Jasper away from them, which inadvertently causes a conflict between Wells and John Murphy.

Later, Jasper and Monty are talking to other criminals when Finn involves them in Clarke's trip to Mount Weather and Octavia also joins them. As they walk, Finn places a flower behind Octavia's ear and Jasper mentions to Monty that Finn has game. Monty mentions that the flower is poison sumac. Finn asks how they were imprisoned. Monty and Jasper imply that they were arrested for stealing pharmaceuticals ("weed") from the Ark gardens and forgetting to replace them. Jasper asks Octavia why she was arrested. She vouches for being born and rushes to join Clarke and Monty teases Jasper that teasing her isn't a game. Minutes later they see their first animal, a deer. Jasper watches in amazement until Finn breaks a twig and the deer turns towards them, surprising the group with its two heads.

When they reach a river, Jasper watches in amazement as Octavia undresses. When she jumps into the water, he acts scared because they don't know how to swim, however, Octavia gets up. As they begin to undress her to join her, Jasper notices movement in the water. He orders Octavia to get out of the water, but it is too late and Octavia is attacked by a sea serpent and pulled underwater. When the group realizes that she is still alive, Jasper intervenes and saves Octavia. Later that night, Jasper sleeps near Monty with Octavia's head on her chest.

The next morning they find another way to cross the river. To impress Octavia, Jasper convinces Finn to let him cross the vine first. Landing safely on the other side, Jasper finds an old sign indicating that they have arrived at Mount Weather. He holds the sign in the air and the others applaud. Moments later, Jasper is pierced in the chest with a spear, leaving the rest in shock. In Earth Skills, Clarke, Finn, Wells, Bellamy and Murphy search for Jasper and follow him for his blood. They find him tied to a tree as bait. They free him and return him to the Camp. Clarke treats his wounds and says he could die if they don't give him medicine soon. In Earth Kills, Jasper has not yet recovered from his wounds and Clarke is forced to cut away the infected flesh around his wound. Bellamy tells Clarke that if Jasper doesn't get better by the next day, he will kill Jasper. While Clarke, Finn and Wells go in search of seaweed to help Jasper, Monty and Octavia stay behind to take care of him. During the night, all of the Delinquents are forced to take shelter in the ship due to the Acid Fog and many are disturbed by Jasper's moans of pain. Murphy decides to kill him, however, Octavia and Monty stop him by blocking the upper level of the ship. The next day, the others return with the seaweed to help Jasper, who begins to recover and asks Finn for a drink of the whiskey he found.

a unity day

Jasper is seen flashing illegally while the Unity Day speech is being given. Later, he visits Raven Reyes and gives her a drink while they discuss testing gunpowder. Bellamy interrupts them, needing Raven's help to follow Clarke and Finn, who are meeting with the Grounders in hopes of forming an alliance. Jasper goes with Raven and Bellamy as backup. Once there, he watches in disappointment as Octavia hugs Lincoln. As the meeting begins, Jasper notices the Grounders hiding in the trees and opens fire on them. He manages to kill two before fleeing to the camp with the others. When they return, Octavia yells at Jasper, telling him that she ruined the chance of a truce.

Monty and Jasper eat seeds and nuts while helping sort and organize supplies for the coming winter. Jasper notices that Monty is acting a little strange and lets him go pee. As he does so, Jasper begins to hallucinate that the Grounders have surrounded the Camp. He runs to Octavia and she realizes that she has drugged him with the jobi nuts that he and Monty were eating. She gives him an "anti-grounder" stick to hold on to and protect himself from the Grounders. She is later seen cradling him in her arms.

Jasper is shown standing around a campfire, bragging about how he killed two Grounders at the bridge meeting. Octavia is irritated by this and Monty tells her to let them enjoy it since Jasper received a new tent from Bellamy. After a while, Harper enters Jasper and Monty's store and says that she wouldn't mind coming, but Jasper ignores her. Monty warns Jasper that Octavia isn't going to happen, but Jasper tells Monty that he's jealous and that he should find another place to sleep. When someone triggers the tripwire surrounding the camp, they find Murphy, all beaten and bloody. After Murphy infects everyone with the disease he was carrying, Bellamy orders Jasper to shoot the bomb that was going to blow up the bridge. When Jasper was planning to leave, he asks Monty if he wanted to go, but was ignored because Monty was still upset about his earlier disagreement. When they reach the bridge, Finn tells Jasper to line up the shot and then runs over to Raven to take her to safety. The ground army begins to cross the bridge as Jasper shoots towards the bomb. He finally fires, blowing up the bridge in a massive explosion seen from the launch ship. Bellamy is impressed that they did it and Clarke quotes Oppenheimer. In the final scene, Jasper is shown to be with Finn, Raven, and Murphy, returning from the explosion as everyone applauds.

Jasper tries to get Bellamy to go after Clarke, Finn and Monty, who are still missing from the previous episode. Bellamy refuses and Jasper goes up to the upper level of the ship to get more gunpowder. As he goes down, he witnesses Murphy choking Myles. Murphy sees him and they both look towards a gun, unfortunately, Murphy grabs it first and takes Jasper hostage. Bellamy offers himself in exchange for Jasper and Murphy accepts the exchange, letting Jasper go. Jasper helps Raven get under the ship to open the door. Once he does, Jasper rushes to Octavia to help save Bellamy. After Murphy escapes, Bellamy tells Jasper that they will go after Clarke, Finn, and Monty, and Jasper hugs Bellamy.

en we are grounders (parte 2)

Jasper is seen with The 100 evacuating from their main base. As they advance, Drew's head is impaled by a ground weapon, killing him instantly. Jasper yells, "Tierreros!" and everyone runs back to the camp. During the war with the Grounders, Jasper is stationed as a gunner overlooking the minefields with Harper McIntyre on the west side of the camp. He witnesses the mines kill several Grounders and is the first to realize that the Grounders run sideways through their gunfire and do not attack so they waste bullets. Clarke soon calls Jasper to the launch ship to help her and Raven connect the ship to the residual rocket fuel. He manages to connect it, but when it comes time to cause the explosion, it doesn't work. He quickly remembers that Raven had told him that she needed a magnet to function and is able to activate the explosion, killing approximately 300 Grounders. Jasper is last seen dragging the imprisoned Anya off the ship just before the Mountain Men break in and take the remaining Delinquents to Mount Weather.

Jasper is first seen with Monty on the tour with the rest of the criminals given by Keenan Mykulak in Mount Weather. The group rejoices when Clarke arrives. When Clarke asks about Finn and Bellamy, Jasper tells her that they didn't make it. Later, Monty and Jasper are eating dessert in the dining room and Jasper offers Monty a piece of his cake, but Monty doesn't let Jasper try his chocolate cake. Clarke arrives and they invite her to sit with them, but she refuses to eat the food because she doesn't trust the people of Mount Weather. Jasper tells Clarke that she's bringing him down and he goes in search of a chocolate cake and runs into Maya Vie. Since Clarke had taken Maya hostage earlier, Jasper tries to tell her that Clarke is actually a good person. Clarke appears and apologizes to Maya before leaving again. Maya realizes that Clarke stole her keycard and she and Jasper chase after Clarke. They reach Clarke just as he is about to pull a lever to open the door to Mount Weather. Jasper pleads with him, telling him that he pulled a lever (to close the ship's door) and saved lives; If he pulls this lever, he will kill everyone on the Mountain by radiation exposure. Clarke is soon arrested.

Jasper tries to convince Clarke to stop acting rude to the residents of Mount Weather. Jasper explains that if she keeps acting that way, the residents of Mount Weather won't want them there and they will be kicked out of Mount Weather. Jasper is later seen talking to Maya and they seem to like each other. An alarm goes off and Maya tells Clarke it's for someone who needs medical attention. Clarke and Jasper follow Maya and hear that someone was hurt. While the medical team is busy putting on radiation equipment, Clarke and Jasper run into the room where they find a deceased Mount Weather Guard. Clarke inspects the wound before the medical team interrupts her. They see another Mount Weather Guard being brought in for radiation exposure before they leave. Later, Clarke argues with Jasper that it was a gunshot wound, not an arrow wound, as Dante had said, but Jasper doesn't quite believe Clarke.

in Repercussions

Maya takes Jasper to a warehouse full of paintings and makes him not look until he gets there, prompting him to say that he hates surprises. Once Maya allows him to open his eyes, they both admire the paintings until they almost kiss, however, they are interrupted when the guards enter the warehouse. Once outside the warehouse, Jasper wonders if the guards stopped chasing them, but Maya says that she doesn't think anyone was ever chasing them.

Jasper is seen speaking for the first time with President Wallace about what happened to Clarke. He tells her that she decided to escape from her, without explaining why she left. Jasper, who slowly becomes loyal to Mount Weather, believes in Dante and goes about his day. When Monty confronts him about it, he questions why he would believe him and not Clarke. Monty tries to convince Jasper that they have to leave, but Jasper continues to ignore him. Maya comes in and tries to improve the situation, but Monty persists in leaving. Jasper says that the situation is very conflictive, since he knows that Clarke would go after him. Suddenly, a containment breach enters the room and Maya begins to suffer radiation burns, with a terrified Jasper and Monty trying to get help. When Jasper finds Maya in critical condition, Dr. Lorelei Tsing recommends a blood transfusion, as The 100's blood is resistant to the outside world. Monty tries to talk him out of it, but Jasper does it anyway to save Maya. The transfusion was successful and Maya made a full recovery.

Monty and Jasper discover the truth about the Harvest Chamber on Mount Weather after Maya tells them the truth about how her people have survived under the mountain for so long.

as a coup de grace

Jasper approaches Dante Wallace and demands to know where Monty and Harper are. He then threatens him with a sword, only to find Wallace taking it away from him and saying that he is not a toy. Jasper then finds out that Wallace was on his side the entire time when he frees Monty and Harper and tells them they are free to go. Jasper then tells the 47 to leave Mount Weather before the Mountain Men change their minds. However, the door closes, leaving the 47 trapped inside. Jasper runs to the door in a panic, but then in shock finds Bellamy inside Mount Weather with Maya.

in remember me

Jasper, Monty, Miller and Maya try to hack Mount Weather's radio to send an SOS signal to the people on the ground. They later discover that Monty has disappeared.

in resurrection

The 46 have barricaded their room and are now fully loaded with guns and weapons to defend themselves. Jasper and the others deal with ways they could harm them and destroy all the cameras around them. When the Mountain Men finally arrive, they throw gas grenades into the room to knock out the criminals. Carl Emerson then leads the charge to his room and prepares to take them all away. However, the criminals surprise them and begin to massacre the mountaineers with all their weapons. When it's all over, Jasper finds one of the Mountain Men crawling away, so he takes the ax from him and smashes it at the man. However, unbeknownst to Jasper, the Mountain Men managed to take one of his friends, Fox. With all the commotion, Cage Wallace decides to blackmail Jasper using Maya, who enters the criminals' level with a radiation suit on. He says that Maya only has 20 minutes of oxygen and that if he doesn't give up she will be exposed to radiation. Jasper comforts her at this point, but is shocked when Bellamy goes through the garbage disposal in her room, which the Mountain Men had apparently closed. Bellamy moves Maya, Jasper, and presumably the rest of the 46 around here to escape. Jasper is then seen along with the other criminals being helped by Maya's father and other mountain men who believe that holding prisoners for their blood is wrong.

Jasper and the other criminals are isolated in their room. Jasper says that he saw Bellamy outside the room and that he will come help them. Suddenly, Dr. Tsing walks in with a dozen Mountain Men guards and says they will take them one by one to perform bone marrow treatment. Tsing grabs one of the 47 and runs off with it, the group completely helpless. Later, when Jasper and the others rebel, he sees Bellamy holding Jasper and pointing a gun at him. When Tsing and the others return, they draw their weapons and really begin to fight back, but the weapons are no match for the Mountain Men and are ineffective. Jasper, however, shoots one of them; however, he shoots the Kevlar guards, again proving to be ineffective. Tsing decides they will take Jasper and takes him away. But suddenly a radiation leak caused by Bellamy occurs on his level, causing radiation burns to all the Mountain Men. Jasper and others take up their weapons as everyone dies helplessly. Dr. Tsing attempts to escape through a nearby elevator, but Jasper holds the elevator door open long enough for the burns to reach Tsing and kill her.

Jasper and Maya are seen hiding in the house of a couple who are part of the movement to save captive criminals trapped in Mount Weather. After the guards threaten to kill the couple, Jasper and Maya come out of hiding in an attempt to save them, but the guard shoots the couple in the head, killing them instantly, as they are forced to watch in horror. In a later scene, Jasper, Maya, Miller and Fox walk with guards who want to take them to Cage Wallace, Maya's father, Vincent, tries to stop him and a guard tries to shoot him, in response Bellamy appears and kills the guard. , while Jasper and Miller attack and kill the others. When Bellamy leaves to retrieve the remaining criminals, Jasper feels that it is his responsibility to go with him because he promised to protect them. Bellamy is hesitant to take Jasper, but eventually agrees and they take Maya with them. When they reach the level where the others were supposed to hide, they find Monty, who tells them that the guards came and took the remaining criminals away while he hid. After Monty tells them that the remaining 44 are in the Harvest Chamber, Jasper drags Monty with him to go after them and try to save his friends. When they arrive at the Harvest Chamber, they soon realize that it is too late and find Vincent dead on the floor. Then, Jasper tries to console Maya about the death of her father, while the criminals are still missing.

Jasper, Bellamy and Monty meet with Clarke and Octavia. Jasper, Maya and Octavia try to get a new Air Tank for Maya and reach her friends, while Bellamy, Clarke and Monty head to the Mount Weather control room. During their trip, Maya and Jasper kiss, showing their love for each other. On their way to the criminals, Jasper says that he will kill Cage so they can get his friends out and Maya can stay at Mount Weather, then a couple at Mount Weather spots them and alarms the guards. However, both guards chase after Octavia and Maya, but Lee, who was brought by Maya to help them, takes Jasper away. When Jasper is taken to the criminals' bunker, he finds all the other criminals who are tied up. Jasper pulls out a knife and goes after Cage, but notices that all of the Mountain Men are receiving radiation burns, meaning the level had been infected. Jasper leaves to see if Maya is okay, leaving Kane and Harper yelling at him because they're still tied up. When Jasper arrives, he sees Octavia holding Maya, who is suffering from radiation. He is then seen holding Maya as she dies from her burns, with Jasper crying. When Clarke, Bellamy and Monty enter, he confronts them and tells Clarke that he was about to kill Cage and asks Monty how he could let this happen. Monty tells him he's sorry but Jasper doesn't understand. When Jasper arrives at Camp Jaha for the first time, an injured Raven gives him back his glasses.

Jasper is first seen lying under a table. Monty Green explains to Bellamy that he has never been the same since Maya was killed. Monty and Jasper's relationship seems to have deteriorated. Jasper decides to go with Bellamy, Monty and Raven Reyes on his mission. In the car, Jasper plays a song for everyone to sing. Finally, they confront a Grounder. Jasper quickly walks towards the Grounder to grab the beacon, which ends with the Grounder lightly slicing his neck. He smiles as they cut him. Luckily, Octavia saves him by throwing her knife at the Grounder. Later, Jasper storms out of Medical and Abby agrees to let him go, but she makes him promise that she will come back to check on her in the morning. Once he sees Macallan playing the piano, Maya's memories resurface. This makes Jasper angry and prompts him to kick Macallan away from the piano. The pair fight briefly until some Arkers separate them.

In Arkadia's medical room, Abby is checking on Jasper after his altercation with Macallan the night before. Abby tries to force Jasper to talk and uses Finn as an example. Jasper tells Abby that Clarke killed him just like she killed Maya. Octavia and Lincoln interrupt them when they bring in Nyko, who has lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion. Eric Jackson writes it and Rhnull appears. Octavia offers her arm to donate blood as a universal donor but her blood is of no use. Lincoln then offers his arm to him and Jackson also labels him unsupported. Jackson suggests using the Mount Weather medical facility because they have the equipment needed for a blood transfusion to save Nyko. Abby tells him they can't do it, but he tells her they have to do it to save Nyko's life. Abby suddenly hesitates after Lincoln warned her about supplies endangering her peace. Lincoln tells Abby to save Nyko, even if it means returning to Mount Weather. Then, Abby turns around and tells Jasper that she is going to Mount Weather with them to deal with her feelings. At Mount Weather, Lincoln, Abby, and Jackson take Nyko to the medical bay. Octavia tells Jasper not to do anything stupid before following them. Jasper finds his way to the art warehouse, searches for the painting Maya loved, and becomes enraged when he can't find it. He begins to destroy the place until he finds the painting. He puts it down and looks at it darkly. Octavia finds him and sits next to him. He tells Octavia that the painting represents the Second Circle of Hell from Dante's Inferno. He starts to cry and Octavia puts her arm around him and tells him that everything will get better. He asks when.

a bitter harvest

Jasper is first seen watching Jaha distribute the key to the City of Light. Abby notices this and tells him to wait until he can run some tests on the keys and he agrees. She later admits to Raven that she spilled Finn's ashes, but since she is in the City of Light and has no memories of Finn, she doesn't react and simply smiles happily. Jasper then asks her what he's taking and how he can get it and she redirects him to Jaha. He and Jaha sit at a table as Jaha tells him about the City of Light and offers him the key. Jasper prepares to take the key before Abby stops him and asks Jaha to give her the science behind his miracle painkiller. Jaha happily obeys and explains how the key works while Jasper mutters that he should keep the key word. Abby then asks if Jaha would give the key to Wells without trying it first and is horrified when Jaha doesn't seem to remember Wells at all. Abby shuts down Jaha's operations before leaving Jaha and Jasper. As she leaves, Jaha asks Eric Jackson, who already took the key, to keep an eye on her.

Jasper refuses to go to the Mount Weather memorial in Arkadia. When Monty mentions it, he tells Monty that he should go and sneak through an opening in the fence, followed by Monty. They arrive at the ship and Jasper begins to drown in alcohol, Monty tells him that he has had enough, but Jasper disagrees. Monty then looks in Jasper's backpack and finds an urn of ashes that he identifies as belonging to Finn. Monty goes to confront Jasper but discovers that he has passed out drunk. Jasper soon wakes up hungover and asks Monty how he could murder Maya and be okay. Monty yells that he is not okay and says that he had no choice. Monty comments that he misses his best friend, but Jasper says that he also died that day. Monty asks Jasper how he could take Finn's ashes without giving Clarke or Raven a second thought, but Jasper doesn't react. They have an argument and Monty storms off. They then prepare to return to Arkadia when a drunken Jasper trips and spills the ashes.

and fallen

Jasper meets up with Abby and a desperate Raven who wants to get ALIE out of her head. Raven tells them that they can use the bracelets that the 100 were sent to the ground with to create an EMP and destroy the chip. Abby says she knows where one is and goes to tell Raven, but Raven stops her saying that everything she hears and sees, ALIE will see and hear too. Raven then tells Abby to tell Jasper the location of the bracelet and she does. Jasper then goes to get the bracelet. He acquires the box easily, but is caught by Jaha's Splintered Army. They handcuff him to the railing and Jaha breaks his wristband with a hammer. After he finally frees himself, Jasper looks at the remains of the bracelet and realizes that putting it back together is useless. He then goes to the doctor and finds Raven lying on a bed with bandages on her wrists. Jasper asks what they did to her and Raven says she's fine and apologizes for worrying him. She offers him the key to the City of Light, but he sedates her and takes her away. Jaha and ALIE realize that Jasper is taking Raven and order the chipped victims to open fire on the rover. Jasper is able to carry Raven to the vehicle and drive away before stopping when he notices Clarke. He demands that she get into the vehicle while she frantically asks questions. After Clarke boards the rover, Jasper drives away from Arkadia.

in terms and conditions

Jasper is first seen yelling at Jacapo Sinclair when he was informed that with Pike's rationing in place, alcohol will no longer be served. Raven, Jaha, and ALIE notice him and identify him as someone who can help them find and recover the chipmaker. Raven tricks Jasper into meeting her by telling him that she drinks alcohol, however, when they meet, she informs him that she needs her help to break into Pike's office. She says that since everyone knows she is with Jaha, she can't do it herself, but if he did it no one would question her motives. Jasper questions how Raven expects her to crack Pike's password, but Raven says that Monty is in charge of the password; She doesn't have to crack Pike's password, she has to crack Monty's. They enter another room where Raven asks Jasper several questions about Monty to help him think about what the password could be. Raven tries Monty's favorite color, her favorite book and finally her favorite place which, according to Jasper, is a starboard bay that had the best view of the moon on the entire ship Ark. She then mentions that they often played which planet would you prefer and that the answer was always Earth. ALIE then alerts Raven that the password is an alphanumeric sequence representing the word Earth. Raven congratulates Jasper and he tells her that, assuming they don't get caught, he wants to be first in line for a chip and Raven agrees. They enter Pike's office and Raven goes after the chip maker. However, Jasper stops her when she asks if the City of Light removes all of a person's bad memories and only leaves the good ones, like her first kiss. Raven stops at this and realizes that she doesn't remember her first kiss; in fact, she doesn't remember anything about Finn at all. She tells Jasper that they can't let ALIE keep the chip maker.

in demons

Jasper returns to Arkadia with Monty, Raven, Sinclair, Clarke, Octavia, and Bellamy to retrieve Lincoln's diary about Luna. While Raven, Clarke, Monty and Sinclair work to try to activate the flame, he follows Octavia. He watches Octavia as she finds Lincoln's diary and breaks down at the loss of her. Jasper reminds Octavia that "everything gets better" just as she had told him before, but Octavia comments that her situations are not the same. Emerson then captures them and puts them in the airlock. Emerson tries to suffocate them, but Clarke saves both their lives by putting the flame on Emerson and killing him. Jasper accompanies Octavia, Bellamy and Clarke in their search for Luna.

Clarke and Jasper take an unconscious Raven to the resistance cave. She explains to everyone that the people of Arkadia are no longer themselves. Clarke backs him up, but he tells her that he doesn't need her to defend him. Clarke asks if the key to the City of Light looks like the flame that awakens Raven, who is possessed by A.L.I.E.] she says the flame belongs to her. Jasper urges Clarke to give the flame to Raven, but she refuses. She then says that they will need a bracelet to create an EMP to remove Raven's chip and Clarke tells her that he knows where to get one. They arrive at Niylah's trading post and Niylah is hostile towards them, revealing that Skaikru killed her father, who was part of the army that was sent to protect them. When Clarke tells Jasper that they will take turns taking care of Raven, he angrily tells her that she doesn't take orders from her. Clarke apologizes for the Mount Weather genocide and for killing Maya, but Jasper tells her to "shove regret up her ass." Later, while Jasper protects Raven, she comes to him calling him useless and pathetic and mocks her inability to save Maya. Jasper is furious and prepares to smash the flame with a hammer, however, Clarke stops him by telling him that it is Lexa who is in the flame. Later, when Raven has her chip removed, she apologizes to him for all the trash she said and Jasper forgives her and asks her if she's sorry for punching him in the face too, but she jokingly comments that he deserved it. .

Jasper is on Luna's platform with Clarke, Octavia and Bellamy. He is listening to Shay's story and applauds when she finishes. He later introduces himself to Shay when she approaches him to serve him a drink. They have a brief conversation and Shay admits that she never left the platform, Jasper tells her that he's lucky he never left the platform and you can tell she smiles for the first time in a long time. Later, when ALIE's followers infiltrate the platform, Jasper tells Shay to run to tell the others not to take the chip. She runs off to warn the others, but is shot down with an arrow, which devastates Jasper. He punches the man who shot him before being dragged into a room with the others who are forced to take the chip. They hit him several times in an attempt to convince him to take the chip. When Clarke, Octavia, and Bellamy arrive, he tells them that they haven't located him and that he still doesn't have a chip. He later attends Flokru's funeral ceremony with Clarke, Octavia and Bellamy. He has a drink with everyone else before passing out since Luna drugged her drinks. He wakes up with the others on the shore before looking at Clarke and asking what they will do next.

Jasper, Clarke, Bellamy and Octavia are still on the rover. They stop when the rover veers off course and decide to continue on foot despite Jasper's protests that they could be days from their destination. The group arrives near the sea and is upset that Luna's clan is nowhere to be seen. They make a fire which Jasper throws a random plant into, causing it to ignite. Octavia realizes that the plant can be used to create signal fire and Jasper goes to look for more. The Boat People arrive and bring Clarke and Bellamy bound and gagged. Octavia requests safe passage saying Lincoln sent them and the Boat People give her a jar. She drinks it and Jasper follows her, drinking the vial and then passes out on her. He later wakes up on the oil rig with Clarke, Octavia and Bellamy. Luna arrives and Clarke asks her to take the flame, but she refuses. Jasper follows as Clarke tries to chase after Luna before realizing they are on a platform in the middle of the ocean. He and Monty are looking for a motherboard with RAM so they can create a portal to ALIE's code, but when Monty finds it, ALIE He tells Jasper not to let him leave. He grabs a screwdriver and stabs Monty in the chest, but Monty is able to take off with the motherboard anyway. Jasper is left outside the control room and tries to convince Monty to let him in and explain why he took the chip. Monty refuses to let Jasper in and begins to worry for Harper's safety. Raven, however, convinces Monty to keep Jasper distracted. Later, Jasper counts all the dead people and states his cause of death before Harper approaches him. Harper questions why the door is closed before knocking her unconscious and tells her that if they want Harper to live, they will open the door.

He returns with Clarke, Octavia, and Bellamy to Arkadia, reuniting with Miller, Bryan, Harper, Raven, and Monty. While Octavia, Bellamy, Clarke, Miller and Bryan leave for Polis, he stays with Raven, Monty and Harper.

Jasper is still hanging around Harper trying to convince Monty and Raven to destroy the machine. Monty then appears behind Jasper shooting him in the leg to save Harper. They then let him into the room but tied his hands behind a chair so he couldn't do any harm. As Raven and Monty try to help Clarke, who is in the City of Light, Jasper informs them that his code is now updating version two and once updated will remove the kill switch. After Clarke destroys the City of Light, Monty asks how they know if she did it. Jasper replies that she did it and Monty moves to untie her hands. He starts to cry. Monty assures Jasper that things will get better and that even though this world may suck, at least it's real. Monty and Jasper then hug each other. Jasper then says that he could use a drink to which Harper responds that everyone could use a drink. He then returns to the hangar and stands next to one of the scouts looking at Harper, Monty, and Raven.

Jasper plays a prank on Jaha by putting his bed in the middle of the lake while he sleeps in it. When Jaha wakes up, he shouts saying, "Hey Jaha, it looks like you got floated." He sees everyone smiling at the event, even Jaha himself. Later, when Monty and Jasper are in an office planning another prank on Clarke, he finds the list of 100 people to be saved and tries to tell everyone, but he is Tasered and imprisoned.

Jasper continues to act carelessly towards the end of the world, doing whatever he wants waiting for the world to come to him.

Jasper interrupts a funeral while trying to leave Arkadia, which catches the attention of Bellamy, who learns that Jasper wants to take a walk in the woods, causing Bellamy to follow him because he doesn't want to carry Jasper's body back. While in the woods, Jasper stops and gives Bellamy a speech about living life to the fullest and doing whatever they want before taking some hallucinogenic nuts back to Arkadia. When he arrives in Arkadia, he convinces Bellamy to join the party that was being held.

a DNR

As everyone packs up to leave for the bunker, Jasper along with a group of sky people do not plan to leave with everyone and declare that they will stay in Arkadia and wait for death to strike them. Monty, Bellamy and Jaha are at the door trying to convince him to come with them and survive, but Jasper closed the door not allowing anyone to knock on the glass with the letters "DNR" written on it. Jaha and Bellamy have given up and are coming to terms with the fact that they don't want to survive, but Monty insists on saving them because both Jasper and Harper were there and he loves them both. Unfortunately, Monty couldn't convince them and leaves them, but in the end he decides to stay with them in hopes of convincing them to return with him to the bunker.

Jasper and the DNR group are high and drunk. Someone screams for help and Monty and Jasper go to see what's going on. Riley is not breathing and when Monty tries to save him, Jasper stops him by reminding him that Riley wanted to die. Monty identifies the cause as Jobi's tea and Riley overdosed as a result of drinking too much. Jasper and the others plan to painlessly overdose on tea instead of continuing to wait for radiation.

Later, Jasper is sitting by a starboard window reflecting the red sun onto the irradiated Earth. He admires it when Monty enters informing him that the red sun indicates that the wave of death is almost there. Jasper looks sadly out the window and says, "For all its flaws, the Earth is truly beautiful." Monty then notices the Jobi teacups and asks how much Jasper drank, prompting Jasper to reply "Just the right amount." Worried, Monty asks what Jasper did to him, to which Jasper confesses that he didn't want Monty to find out [like that]. Monty takes off his hazmat helmet and tries to make Jasper throw up the drugs. Jasper refuses and tells Monty to tell him that he loves him before he dies. Monty refuses to give up and begs Jasper to stay with him as Jasper passes out and dies. Monty then tells Jasper that he loves him and leaves to find Harper.

After returning to the ruins of Arkadia two months after the Second Nuclear Apocalypse, Clarke finds a locked box containing Maya's music player, Jasper's glasses, and a letter from Jasper to Monty. Seeing it causes Clarke to burst into tears over the loss of her friend and begins to wonder if Jasper didn't have the right idea after all. In Acceptable Losses, Clarke gives Jasper's suicide note to Monty. She reads it and reveals that Jasper was going to commit suicide after being taken from the City of Light. Monty laments that maybe Jasper was right all along. In Damocles (Part 2), Clarke and Bellamy learn that Monty and Harper decided to name their son Jordan Jasper Green after their lost friend.

personality

At the beginning of the series, Jasper was relatively shy and reserved, rarely interacting with people other than Monty and Clarke. He is relatively adventurous and brave when given the opportunity, as shown when he jumped into a river to save Octavia from a large predatory creature that nearly killed her. The intellectual side of him became very evident early on in the series, often helping Monty and ALIE on various technical related objectives. At the beginning of the series, Jasper was in no way confrontational or assertive, and would often comply with other people's requests without any protest. However, upon witnessing the death of his first serious love, Maya, Jasper was left traumatized and depressed. To cope with her death, he turned to alcoholism and hedonism, changing his previous timid and deliberate demeanor. He stopped caring about the well-being of Arkadia's residents and spent much of his time lazing around and ignoring potential dangers, as demonstrated when he deliberately stayed outside in rain that could potentially have been acidic. Jasper also expresses apathy at the fact that humanity's survival was threatened by the meltdown of old nuclear reactors and tells Clarke that he is simply trying to have as much fun as he can before Praimfaya happens.

appearance

Jasper has brown eyes, thick dark brown hair, pale skin, and a slim figure. The most notable feature of his clothing is the glasses that he has worn since he arrived on Earth. When the Mountain Men took the 48 captive, his glasses disappeared, but it has since been revealed that Raven was keeping them for himself. In seasons three and four, Jasper shaves off all his hair and grows a small beard and mustache.

relations

Throughout the series, Jasper was not involved in many relationships. Throughout season 1, it was evident that Jasper had taken a liking to Octavia, although this crush soon disappeared in season 2 when Jasper went to Mount Weather and met Maya, with whom he developed a romantic relationship.

Octavia Blake

Octavia and Jasper first meet in "Pilot" when he, Clarke, Finn, and Octavia go on a trip to find Mount Weather. After seeing a river, Octavia decides to jump in and swim. The others will join her until a river snake arrives and tries to kill her. Jasper enters her and manages to rescue her from her. Octavia only receives small bite marks and is very grateful to Jasper. When he is later found in Grounder territory and brought back to camp, Octavia tends to him along with Monty. After waking up, he discovers that he has won Octavia's heart. In "Murphy's Law", Octavia takes care of Jasper. She tries to get him out of the camp and shows him that he doesn't need to worry. When Monty tries to make contact with the Ark but the connection fails, Jasper sits on the ground and Octavia follows him. He regrets being cursed, but she says it's not true. Then she tells him that she is brave and kisses him. Later in "Her Sister's Keeper", his affection towards Octavia appears to be more significant, and Jasper is even willing to risk his life to find Octavia when she is taken away. It is also revealed that Jasper had seen Octavia on the Ark and found her attractive and said, "Wow, who is that?" a friend next to him.

Monty verde

Main article: Monty and Jasper Jasper and Monty are best friends. Throughout "Pilot", Monty encourages Jasper as he flirts with Octavia. When Monty finds out that Jasper may have been killed, he becomes nervous. However, Jasper continues to encourage Monty and ultimately fuels Monty's attempt to contact the Ark. In "Earth Kills", Jasper wakes up and Monty is happy to see his best friend alive. As Octavia kisses him, Monty gives Jasper a thumbs up. In "Day Trip", Monty and Jasper work together selecting food for the winter. The two talk and joke with each other during their work. Later, both Monty and Jasper eat nuts which cause them to hallucinate.

clarke Griffin

Main article: Clarke and Jasper Jasper and Clarke Griffin are in a stable relationship. In "Earth Skills", Clarke searches for Jasper with Finn, Bellamy, and Murphy. When she finds Jasper tied to a tree as bait, she is horrified, helps him down and returns him to camp. In "Earth Kills", Clarke goes with Finn and Wells to get medicine for Jasper. When he recovers in the episode, Clarke is glad she survived. They create a close bond and become close friends. However, when Jasper discovers that Clarke, Bellamy, and Monty are responsible for the deaths of everyone at Mount Weather, his friendship with them (including Clarke) is severely damaged. Currently, Jasper has not forgiven Clarke for what he has done. In season 3, they don't meet her again until the end of "Fallen", he saves her life by letting her get on the rover, but as she frantically asks questions, he demands that she keep quiet about her. Later in "Nevermore", Clarke is surprised that her mother let the chipped Arkadian shoot her and Jasper sarcastically comments that she can see the appeal. He later tells Clarke that she can't just give orders, showing that he is still very hurt by her actions. In "Eden", two months after the second Primfaya, Clarke finds a box in the ruins of Arkadia with some of Jasper's belongings, including his glasses and a note to Monty. Seeing this, Clarke breaks down crying out of grief for her lost friend and begins to wonder if Jasper didn't have the right idea with the desolate world left after Primfaya.

maya

Main article: Jasper and Maya At the beginning of the second season, Maya and Jasper are introduced after the 48 have been taken by Mount Weather. When Jasper goes to get a piece of chocolate cake and discovers that there is none left, Maya, who is sitting at a nearby table, laughs and gives him her piece. They talk while he sits and eats with her and from there he falls in love with her. In "Human Trials" he saves her life by giving her a blood transfusion after she falls ill from radiation poisoning. They share a kiss in "Remember Me" when trying to avoid suspicion for being in a room they are not allowed in after setting up the radio to communicate with the Ark survivors on the floor. Maya then secretly works with the criminals to help them escape from Mount Weather. Cage even threatens Maya's life in "Resurrection" because he knows that Maya means a lot to Jasper, and Jasper desperately tries to find ways to save her.
