Joey is wearing a white robe that is already stained with ink. He is also wearing black gloves. Dark hair and mustache like a Frenchman. Ink flows from the eyes, but there are no eyes themselves, so he determines everything by smell and hearing. He is also wearing a white shirt and a red bow tie. Brown vest and gray trousers.

Joey speaks with a Western accent. He boasts the personality of a great thinker and dreamer, a man with great aspirations for both himself and his company, claiming that this conviction can attract all people from anywhere in the world. The entries in "Bendy and the Ink Machine" left by other employees complement Joey's personality. With numerous references to Joey's harsh work ethic, his work ethic hints at the more bonkers side of his work that slowly began to alienate his employees: a mind constantly ignoring old ideas in favor of new ones and his eccentricity regarding offerings to the gods. At first glance, he appears to be a fun, caring, passionate person who wants others to achieve their dreams, but as can be seen from the entry in chapter four, this is all just a mask, as in reality he is greedy, selfish and a heartless person who only cares about his own gain and is willing to do anything to have it all. Apparently even sacrificing others to make his wish come true. As can be seen from the recording, Joey ordered his employee to turn off the recording, although he did not notice that it was on for a long time, this may indicate that he does not notice some things. Upon his appearance in Chapter 5, Joey appears to have regret and remorse because he realizes that his actions and decisions were wrong.
