*Tresdin,Legion Commander.They came without warning.Within the city walls of Stonehall,there was a terrible rumbling sound,and out of the unknown darkness came countless creatures,bringing flame and destruction,killing and capturing mothers and sons for dark purposes.Of Stonehall's once mighty army,only the Bronze Legion,led by Commander in Chief Tresdin,was around to answer the call for help.As they entered the city, they began to make their way through bloody alleyways and blazing markets, cutting their way to the source of the sudden invasion-the spatial rift in the main square,on the edge of which the leader of the Abyss Horde raged. Wielding a devastating glare,he swung his giant blade,slicing warriors in half, and the flesh of his victims immediately began to decompose.Tresdin raised her bloody sword and glared at the monster. It turned around,revealing a mass of fangs in a smile.Forgetting the battle raging around them,they rushed towards each other.Fending off one lunge after another,the pair spun in a deadly dance as the Bronze Legion soldiers suffered a crushing defeat.Tresdin lunged,and her enemy met her with his sword.A heavy blow from the side made Tresdin stagger,but she gathered her strength to swing back.The blade slammed into the hilt of the crooked paw,slicing it in two,spraying a horrifying mixture of sparks and blood.The vile creatures stared stunned at the battle,but Tresdin kept striking,thrusting her sword deeper and deeper into the beast's beating heart.There was a terrible howl that reached all the way to the clouds,and the monster erupted in a torrent of blood and misery.The infernal portal shuddered.The power powering it disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.The remaining enemies fell under the pressure of Stonefall's steel. There was no point in celebrating the victory:the city lay in ruins,with few survivors.The fire continued to rage. Unfurling her banners*
