Introduction

Vilgax is an intergalactic alien warlord and conqueror, a Chimera Sui Generis who serves as Ben's archenemy, and the most recurring villain in the ongoing franchise, having appeared multiple times in every series. Ben considers him as one of the most dangerous villains he has faced.

Bio

Physical Appearance

Vilgax is a humanoid creature with a face resembling that of an octopus. He has tentacles dangling in the front of his face, like a beard. His skin is pale green with yellowish spots on his face and tentacles. He lacks any sort of visible ears or nose. He has red eyes. In the Original Series he wore a black and red-brownish armored suit and gloves. His armor was spiked at the shoulder and arm pads. He had green sacs on the sides of his head. His mouth was attached to the sacs by a respirator.

Personality

Regarded as "the most dangerous being in the universe", Vilgax is a ruthless, cruel, and power-hungry galactic warlord. In nearly all his encounters, Vilgax operates with the single-minded objective of acquiring the Omnitrix and exploiting its technology to build an army capable of transforming into aliens at his command, then use that power to conquer the entire universe.

Race

Chimera Sui Generi are a green humanoid species with long tentacles on their head or chin like those of an octopus or squid. The number of tentacles can vary. They have four pointy fingers and two toes. Most female Chimera Sui Generi have tendrils on their head, while males have them on their chin or all around their head to resemble hair or beards, respectively. Their bodies, if not cybernetically altered, have red circuit/vein-like patterns. Their tentacles have spots in a mud-like pattern, being yellow or dark green. They have angled red eyes. Their heads supported a green neck-pillow-shaped sac in the original series that connected both of their cheeks from the back of their heads. Their lips are black and have lines connecting to their sac.

Power

After the battle with Xylene's Ship, Vilgax had upgraded himself with cybernetic enhancements. Their primary function was to increase his strength: they gave him a larger native muscle mass, and the pins in his arms could retract and allow him to bulk up even more, increasing his arms to a massive size[11][14] (though at the cost of feeling great pain and heightening his rage). Vilgax could also jump extremely high and fast, enough to catch a Lepidopterran in mid-flight.[11] As a result of wearing his armor, he also grew taller and his fingers formed into sharp claws.

Vulnerability

Vilgax can become immobilized in ice.

Origin

Vilgax apparently emerged from the Shadow Realm several centuries ago, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Anyone who knew of his exact origins have long since been exterminated. In 1773, Vilgax was exiled from Vilgaxia for "ambitious disobedience". He was later summoned to Earth by a distress signal sent by a time-traveling Maltruant. There, he makes repairs to Maltruant's damaged transport in exchange for a Chronosapien Time Bomb, which he would use some time later. George Washington and a time-traveling 16-year-old Ben Tennyson stopped the deal. Watching Ben transform into various aliens is what initially fostered Vilgax's interest in the Omnitrix. Since then, Vilgax has become a feared tyrant in the universe, destroying several planets and created a black hole. At some point, Vilgax arrived on Petropia. He started to enact a plan to take control of the planet and its citizens. Due to there already being so much infighting between the various Petropian races, it was easy for him to manipulate them. He later sought the help of local bounty hunter Tetrax Shard to steal for him the Petropia Back-up Crystal: "the last piece of the puzzle" needed to start an invasion of the planet. However, the citizens of Petropia did not submit to Vilgax and rejected him. Thus, Vilgax destroyed the entire planet, killing everyone and making Tetrax one of the very last living members of his kind.

Encounters with the Plumbers

Back when Max Tennyson was still a young Plumber, he and Vilgax fought several times. Towards the end of their rivalry, Vilgax was stealing warheads from a military base. Max and Phil Billings showed up. In the resulting fight, Vilgax was stuck to a nuclear warhead by Max, and launched into his own ship. At that time, Vilgax was only slightly larger than a human man, compared to his now colossal size, an addition to his cybernetic augmentation.

Present:2005

After attacking Xylenes ship to retrieve the Omnitrix, Vilgax ended up badly injured causing his body to need upgraded Cybernetic Enhancements leading to the Omnitrix landing on Earth. He sent his droens to retrieve it but the wearer who was the grandson of Max Tennyson, Ben Tennyson found it and managed to take out his drones and when Ben defeats Vilgax 's giant drone in his Petrospaien form he decided to keep an eye on him waiting for his oppourtunity to strike and claim the Omnitrix as his bodh was atill beng repaired.

Mind [1/2]

Regarded as "the most dangerous being in the universe", Vilgax is a ruthless, cruel, and power-hungry galactic warlord. In nearly all his encounters, Vilgax operates with the single-minded objective of acquiring the Omnitrix and exploiting its technology to build an army capable of transforming into aliens at his command, then use that power to conquer the entire universe.[11] Throughout his entire pursuit for absolute power, Vilgax was not willing to let anyone or anything stand in his way. As such, he would get revenge on anyone who defeated him before. This shows that Vilgax can hold a grudge, most notably against Max and his family for the great number of losses he has suffered at their hands. Between this and his imprisonment in the Null Void, he has developed such a pathological hatred towards Ben that he wants to kill him as much as getting the Omnitrix. Of course, Vilgax's quest for the Omnitrix slowly became his secondary goal as his desire for Ben's defeat and/or death became even greater.

Mind [2/2]

The Chimeran Hammer was a legendary and feared battle cruiser that blazed across galaxies, and is Vilgax's main residence. the Chimeran Hammer is an immense ship; brown in color with orange egg-like constructs all around, used to accent the body and some used as portholes. Shape-wise, it resembles an Earth taser, with two long extended pieces constantly generating orange electricity between them. Its back-end features a propulsion system that resembles wires holding a ball of red energy. The ship has visible turrets and antennae. The Chimeran Hammer is seen in the first episode of the original series, where it travels across the solar system pursuing Xylene's ship, as he learned it was transporting the Omnitrix. Both ships were damaged in the battle, with a giant blast from the Hammer nearly completely destroying Xylene's ship, but not before it landed a devastating shot on the Hammer's bridge, destroying it and crippling Vilgax in the process. This happened above Earth, and Xylene's ship jettisoned the Omnitrix in a pod to the planet.
