Monsters University was founded in 1313 by Arthur Clawson, following a land grant from the city of Monstropolis.[1] It celebrates its 700th anniversary.[2] It has six different schools of study: School of Scaring, School of Engineering, School of Liberal Arts & Monstrosities, School of Science, School of Business and School of Aquatics.[3] The School of Scaring has been ranked number one by the Monster News & Report for 143 consecutive years.[4] Graduates of the program typically find jobs with Monsters, Inc., Fear Co., or Scream Industries.[5] Monsters University has a storied rivalry with Fear Tech.[6] Like Monsters, Inc., Monsters University's logo is an "M Eyeball."

James p. Sullivan

He physically resembles a humanoid bear, and his body is covered in light teal fur, with the stomach area’s fur being a light shade of blue. He also has purple polka dots, which are part of his fur’s colour scheme. It is not known what color Sulley’s skin is, but his palms imply that his skin is generally the same color as his fur. On both sides of Sulley’s temple lay a pair of whitish beige, bull-like horns. and His limbs are muscular, and his two arms are significantly longer than his two legs. Sulley has four fingers on each hand, and three toes on each foot, with thick and sharp brown lion claws being present on all of his digits. It overall resembles the nose of a lion .Sulley is a huge monster, measuring 7’8" and weighing 766 lbs.18-year old Sulley being the son of Bill Sullivan, an accomplished Scarer, and having the natural talent that came from his family, Sulley was more laid-back, arrogant, cocky, immature, a slacker, and something of a party animal. Because of these traits, Sulley wasn't a model student and very lazy, once stating "You don't need to study Scaring; you just do it!" He developed a competitive rivalry with a fellow student in the Scaring Program, Mike Wazowski, who had the brains and intelligence for Scaring but not the natural talent. He was also chosen to join the Roar Omega Roar fraternity due to his Scaring talent and because he was the son of a famous Scarer.

While the RΩRs may be preppy in dress, they are ferocious in action and downright ruthless, if necessary. Self-declared as the most elite house on campus, the RΩRs are led by Johnny Worthington, who presides over the house like an all-powerful monarch. Eager to continue their Scare Games winning streak, the RΩRs will do whatever it takes to stay on top. team RΩR has there own place called the frat house, inside it is usually six rooms with a guest room(though the guest room is mostly used for hiding alcohol from teachers as it has a hidden closet.) Sullivan usually goes there to party or to hang out whenever he's bored.

Johnny Worthington lll

He is a Satan-like Monster with purple fur, two fangs (where his nickname "The Jaw" originates from), and a muscular body.As president of RΩR, the premiere campus fraternity, Worthington is very selfish and egotistical and only interested in having "the most elite" Scarers in his fraternity, inviting James P. Sullivan to join, as the latter comes from a family of successful Scarers, but mockingly denies Mike Wazowski and suggesting he joins a fraternity that's "more his speed." Worthington clearly cares more about his fraternity's reputation (taking grades and academics into account).Despite his arrogance he has something to lose, is afraid of failure and has a tradition to live up to.
