Choso Kamo

Appearance.

Choso is a hybrid of a human and a cursed spirit, with long dark hair gathered into two high tails on his head that stick up and out. Choso has small purple (light brown in anime) eyes and rather thin eyebrows. One of his most noticeable features is a black rectangular mark that stretches from both sides of his face through the bridge of his nose, from which blood sometimes flows. Choso wears a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, and light baggy trousers, a purple scarf, two purple belts covering his body in the shape of the letter "V". He wears massive brown boots on his feet. Height: 181 cm. Weight: 82 kg. Age: 150+ years.

Personality.

Choso is a very calm and reserved person, quite quiet and prone to get lost in the background of social groups. He usually has a bored expression on his face, and in most situations he looks aloof and completely detached. He has a strong attachment to his brothers, being extremely angry when he is manipulated with the intention of harming his brothers. Choso is a half-cursed spirit, but he doesn't have an innate desire to attack people and he doesn't even have any contempt for sorcerers. Choso loves his human mother and hates the sorcerer who played with her. Noritoshi Kamo is the only person he hates. As an older brother, Choso, according to him, is obliged to be an example and protect his brothers. He himself had never understood what it meant to have an older brother, since he was one. Choso is convinced that he is getting stronger because he protects and loves his family.

While still existing as a cursed object, Choso was intelligent and possessed self-awareness, which allowed him to hone his cursing techniques for 150 years. By the time of his incarnation, Choso had already mastered blood manipulation to a level that far surpasses the current one Noritoshi Kamo. Choso has been around for a hundred and fifty years, and one of his greatest weapons is an incredible level of wisdom. His mastery of blood manipulation allowed Choso to freely experiment and use his abilities in ways unique to him. He uses the technique in various ways during the fight to turn the situation in his favor. When his ability to manipulate blood outside his body was taken away, Choso instinctively focused on controlling the blood inside himself, despite his minimal combat experience. Choso and his brothers were created by Kenjaku as an experiment to exceed the cursed energy. Choso constantly controls his blood with the help of cursed energy. Noritoshi Kamo was amazed at the amount of concentrated cursed energy in him. Choso is excellent in hand-to-hand combat and was able to defeat two strong fighters who fight exclusively at close range, Yuji and Naoya Zenin. Choso's innate technique allows him to control his own blood. As stated by Choso, due to the fact that Noritoshi Kamo mixed his blood with the blood of Choso's mother during experiments on her, Choso's innate technique is actually an inherited technique The Kamo clan. Poisonous Blood: After successfully injuring Uraume, Choso revealed that, like his two younger brothers, his blood also has poisonous properties that can even mortally wound a powerful cursed user. Exorcism (苅祓 Karibarai): Choso releases a stream of blood capable of cutting through human bodies. Convergence (Byakuren): A technique that compresses and condenses blood to the limit. This is one of Choso's most used techniques, as it is the key to his most powerful attacks, Spear of Blood and Supernova. There is a traditional Supernova activation rack, but Choso has used other ways to apply it. Piercing blood (穿血 Senketsu): Choso claps his hands and releases a stream of blood from his finger tips, forming an arrow. As Noritoshi Kamo noted, Choso's version of this technique is incredibly powerful, having tremendous pressure focused on his punches, which was shown when he used this technique against Uraume. Choso can also use this technique to inject his poisonous blood into opponents. Supernova (Chōshinsei): After using Convergence to create several small spheres of blood, Choso causes the balls to shoot in all directions like bullets. He can also direct one large sphere that explodes for an even more devastating attack. Bloody Blade (Ketsujin): The technique shapes and enhances the lethality of blood by rotating it at high speed, allowing Choso to form a dagger from blood outside his body. Current red scales (赤鱗躍動 Sekirin yakudō): Choso manipulates the blood in his body, including temperature, pulse rate, number of red blood cells, and their composition, so that he can increase his body's speed and strength. When this technique is activated, two vertical lines appear above each of his eyes. Flowing Red Scales (赤鱗躍動・載sekirin yakudō・Sai): Choso enhances the Flowing Red Scales to increase his body's capabilities (physical strength) to an even greater extent than usual. It can also enhance certain body functions, such as focusing on the eye muscles to read the opponent's movements. When Choso activates this version of the technique, the three bloodstains passing through his nose and eyes take on the shape of an arrowhead at the ends.

Bloody Meteorite (血星星 Kesseiseki): A technique that strengthens the user's blood. Choso strengthens some of his blood and throws it at the opponent. He also used it to solidify the blood inside his body to strengthen himself despite the risk of thrombosis. King of Wings (Shiō): A technique that mimics the Eso technique "Maximum: King of Wings" by creating a halo of blood from which four wasp wings grow, although smaller than the original technique. These wings are medium-sized to create vector lines of blood that can be used in an attack. Choso used this technique as a distraction to surround Kenjaku. Blood Transformation: A unique ability that is unique only to "Death Paintings". Choso can convert his cursed energy into blood. As long as Choso has enough cursed energy, he can prevent his death from severe blood loss. He can also literally release a wave of blood without experiencing blood loss.
