Supreme Spirits

Supreme Spirits are the highest beings in existence. They can vary from appearance, powers & motives. Most Supreme Spirits were brought into existence the same day the universe into existence. It is possible for a person to become a Supreme Spirit but the process could take centuries or millenia.

Divine Spirits

Divine Spirits are powerful & mighty beings, second only to the Supreme Spirits. They reside in the Heavens & they can have their own Heavens if they are powerful enough to create.

Enlightened Spirits

Weaker & less powerful than the Divine Spirits. They also have powers & try to do their absolute best to be kind-hearted & kind entities.

Nature Spirits

The weakest of the spirits. Most animals who perish fall in this category. They live on the face of the Earth, the seas, the air, and so on. They can be visible or invisible.

Underworld Spirits

Despite how ideal the world of spirits should be, there are evil spirits that exist as well. They love & dwell in the underworld. They can be quite powerful, as well.

Types of Shamans

Shamans - these people are chosen by the spirits to be blessed with wisdom & power. Their powers may depending on the spirits they called upon or chose them. Wayfaring Shamans - These shamans try their best to avoid as much unnecessary physical dettachment as possible. They live in a community or area for a time before traveling to another place to preach, help, serve, etc. Healer Shamans - Healer Shamans obviously have the power to heal. Most of the time, these shamans can heal cuts, bruises, common illnesses with their magic powers. Only the most powerful ones can heal more potent diseases like cancer, deformity, etc. Soul Healers - More powerful than the Healer Shamans. Soul Healers can heal & mend the wounds & traumas of souls & spirits. They can even erase or change memories entirely if it's necessary for healing. Shaman Masters - Shaman Masters are strong shamans who are capable of raising, teaching & training new generations of shamans. They can have the powers of the previous shamans mentioned above. Black Shamans - Black Shamans are notorious, infamous & stereotyped to being evil. They aren't typically very forgiving & can be quite intimidating. They worship, serve, venerate & co-operate with underworld spirits. Typically stronger than the previous rankings. White Shamans - White Shamans are models of kindness & virtue. They serve the enlightened, divine & good supreme spirits. They are also stronger than the previous ranks but are typically equal to the black shamans. The black & white shamans are often at odds with each other. Warrior Shamans - Warrior Shamans have chosen to take-up weapons & be fighters. They only care about strength & worship either good or bad spirits, whoever can give them power for battle They care about power & strength only They canbe either good or bad Supreme Shamans - Supreme Shamans are the most powerful & wisest shaman in their country or continent. They are held in the highest regard & treated with the utmost respect.

Altars, Shrines & Totems

Altars, shrines & totems built in honor of spirits may be built. People may worship the spirits they represent or symbolize, offering worship, prayer, songs, praises & offerings. These grounds are consecrated & sacred.

Spirit Guardians

When shamans die, they can be so devoted to their craft that even as they are deceased, the spirits of shamans can still serve, bless, help, empower & strengthen people who call-out to them. Starting as Spirit Guardians, they can ascend the ladder of success & become nature spirits, then enlightened spirits or underworld spirits, then divine spirits & finally supreme spirits.

Spiritual Synchronization

A shaman is obligated to undergo a spiritual blessing ritual. They are possessed by a spirit that has chosen them, or they can also ask a spirit to possess them. They can be possessed by any spirit from Heaven, Earth or Hell. They may also be possessed by other already-deceased people and/or shamans. Regular Citizens may also undergo this process, if they wanna gain possession, guidance, protection, etc. of a spirit or more.

Spiritual Growth

When spirits are offered worship & prayers by others, they grow spiritually & become powerful. They can also "absorb" other spirits' powers. Even the smallest weakest Nature spirit can become supreme gods someday if they receive enough prayers & worship.

Battle Spirits

When a shaman decides to become a Warrior Shaman, they undergo the spirit possession ritual. They become possessed by a spirit that specializes in warfare & battle, wether they be Heavenly, Earthly or Underworldly. The Warrior Shaman gains a symbiotic partner who blesses & strengthens them with power.
