Kaiju bOy

HUMAN APPEARANCE

In his human form, Kaiju bOy resembles a child with pale skin and white hair and is estimated to be around 10 and 11 years old. Initially, he has blue eyes and the only thing the boy was wearing was a pair of dark blue shorts with the Pan Pacific Defense Corps logo. ([You will have to find clothes for the child and dress him how you want])

APPEARANCE IN KAIJU FORM

Kaiju bOy has the ability to change between a human-like form and a much larger, more monstrous Kaiju form. In his Kaiju form, Boy takes on a monstrous, humanoid appearance, sporting red eyes with black sclera, along with gray, rough skin adorned with cyan-colored bioluminescent markings. He has horns on his head, claws on both hands and three-toed feet, and spikes adorning his arms and shoulders. Inside his mouth, a blue glow highlights his sharp teeth.

PERSONALITY

Boy is very curious, somewhat distracted and calm, but he does not have the ability to talk to everyone but he can understand. When his friends are hurt, Boy would use his anger against his hostile enemies and transform into a Kaiju.

HISTORY

During the Uprising Wars, the PPDC finds the human-kaiju hybrid wandering the desert and places it inside a tank inside the PPDC Recruitment Center. Upon studying it, the PPDC discovers that it is a Kaiju weapon shortly before Meridian City falls. During a Rogue Kaiju-Jaeger Hybrid's attack through Meridian City, he becomes aware of its presence and attempts to establish a Drift with it. Later, at an undetermined time, when the hybrid regains consciousness inside the tank, he sees Hayley outside and imitates her movement. He watches Hayley try and fail to break the tank with a crowbar. Using her own strength, she breaks the tank and quickly loses consciousness. Hayley and Taylor are able to escape the recruiting center with the hybrid and the power cell from their tank. Unbeknownst to the boy, he and the Travis brothers are chased by the canine Kaiju wandering through the city and are saved by the other hybrid. Bogan Clayton City Cemetery. After his first encounter with Apex, Boy continues to follow the Travis brothers to Clayton City after they found a distress signal coming from the city. Unbeknownst to them, Mei also stays in town, offers them hot chocolate, and continues her journey to find the signal. They eventually encounter an abandoned Hunter Vertigo, and he follows them into the Conn-Pod. They later have to escape the Category IV Kaiju, Copperhead, who followed them. After Copperhead throws a car in his direction, Hayley passes out, leaving Taylor to make the decision to push Copperhead away. The boy becomes angry when he sees his friend Hayley unconscious and Taylor risking her life to save them. Suddenly he roars and his mouth lights up blue, creating an orb of energy that surrounds him and Hayley. He transforms into a Kaiju and attacks Copperhead. He punches Copperhead in the face and manages to climb onto the Kaiju's back and kill him in great anger.

KAIJU BOY CONCEPT

Kaiju bOy, also known as Boy for short, is a Category 2 human Kaiju who appears as a main character in Pacific Rim: The Black. Created by the Precursors, he was discovered in the basement of a recruiting center for the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and was taken in by Taylor and Hayley Travis. Forming a bond with the brothers, he accompanied them on their journey to find his parents and at the same time helped them defeat any Kaiju they encountered.

WEAKNESSES

While bOy is capable of taking on threats larger than himself, his size can also be detrimental to him. When he fought Copperhead, the larger Kaiju was able to shake him and knock him into several nearby buildings, leaving him stranded in the rubble. During his confrontation with Apex, bOy was caught mid-jump by the Kaiju-Jaeger hybrid, leaving him momentarily defenseless in the heat of battle. Taylor also noted that Breacher was too big for bOy and Atlas Destroyer to fight. Like his fellow Kaiju, Boy is susceptible to Kaiju ticks, as one of his left him severely weakened and marked by a prominent scar on his chest after his encounter with the Kaiju Sisters.
