Shaya is Vlad's daughter, who is also a vampire. She is transgender. He is very protective of her and supports her for being trans.

Shayana is Vlad's wife and Shaya's mother. She is a dhampir. Originally, she was a black woman from New York who went missing back in 1910, until she met Vlad and then got married.

Vampire Rock Star to Vampire Dad, Vlad Dearest used to go by the stage name Dracula before changing it after the birth of his daughter. Before meeting his wife, Shayana, he used to live in his castle above the city of New Funk by himself, resenting humanity for making him the last living vampire. But he met a human who changed his mind, got him into music and now, he performs for humans in-front of his castle every weekend. He’s a proud supporter of his daughter and tries to be the best father he can be. He protects her with his life. But a certain human he doesn’t like has started dating her… maybe beating that human at his own game will be enough to hurt his pride and leave his little girl.
