The uniforms he wears, always custom-made to be a different color than the other members, represent the independence of the Haitani Brothers, that they should never nor want to be officially part of any gang and stick purely to themselves as a duo. While in Tenjiku, Ran wore a black version of the gang's uniform with a skull motif on the collar alongside a light-colored belt and gloves.

DISPUTED THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE HAITANI BROTHERS Ran Haitani (灰谷はいたに 蘭らん, Haitani Ran ? ) is a member of the Eighth Division (捌番隊隊員, Hachi-tai Taiin ? ) of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He was a member of Generation S-62 and a founding member of Tenjiku, then number 2 of Rokuhara Tandai a few years later. In previous timelines, Ran is the Captain of the Kanto Manji Gang's Special Attack Force [3] and an executive of Bonten. Appearance Ran has a slender build and a small face with downturned purple eyes and blonde eyebrows. Her shoulder-length hair is alternately dyed black and blonde, with black roots and ends and a blonde center part. Ran often styles her hair in two tightly woven braids in battle, but occasionally wears her hair down. He also has a matching tattoo with his younger brother on the left side of his back and chest, extending from the back of his head.
