Biography

He was a Victorian era demon who strove to be modern and cool and had a passion for building steampunk machines of destruction. His goal in the pilot was to conquer hell using his machines and Egg Boiz's army. He was the second sinner the hotel was trying to redeem. After sacrificing himself for his friends, Sir Pentious was reborn as an angel and transported to heaven, becoming the first known sinner to suffer redemption and die twice.

Sinner Appearance (formerly)

As a sinner demon, Sir Pentious had a snake-like appearance with a predominantly charcoal gray body color. His eyes had cherry-colored sclera with black pupils and a mouth with sharp yellow teeth, two of which were long snake-like fangs. His tail was black with thick yellow stripes and numerous cherry eyes running down its length. He had a black cobra hood with a yellow front with black corners and four cherry-colored eye patterns spread across the center. Sir Pentious wore a charcoal gray jacket matching his skin, with yellow stripes, and a black bow tie with a single cherry eye in the center. Underneath the jacket was a long-sleeved yellow t-shirt. He also wore black fingerless gloves with yellow dots on each knuckle and had sharp cherry-colored claws. He accessorized it with a large charcoal gray top hat, which had a sizable cherry eye in the center, as well as plenty of sharp yellow teeth and a pair of glasses. The top hat blinked and changed expression in unison with Sir Pentious. Like snakes, it has two male members.

Appearance as Angel (Currently)

After his ascension to heaven as an angel, Sir Pentious retains his serpent-like appearance, although his body color is predominantly blue. His eyes now have yellow sclera with cherry-colored pupils and he kept his mouth full of sharp yellow teeth with two long snake-shaped fangs. His tail is light gray with a lighter shade of gray underneath and he lacks the eyes his sinner form had. Its white cobra hood has a yellow front with six serrated tips and white tips that have eye-shaped markings. Sir Pentious wears a now predominantly white jacket that retains its yellow stripes, along with a black bow tie with a cherry heart in the center. Underneath the jacket was a long-sleeved yellow t-shirt with a single white eye in the center. She retains his fingerless gloves, although now in blue, and her sharp cherry-colored claws. He accessorizes it with a large white top hat, which has a sizable yellow eye in the center, as well as a pair of yellow heart-shaped glasses with cherry-colored pupils and a white halo floating above. Like snakes, it has two male members.

Personality

Sir Pentious is bombastic, flamboyant, short-tempered, temperamental and persistent, his personality seems to take cues from the classic "mustache-twirling" stock villains. He takes tremendous pride in his grandiose ideas of how evil and cunning he is, and at one point even openly declares "I'm so evil!" He uses his mechanical genius to build weapons, such as a cannon and his airship. However, he is more than capable of showing remorse and has a sense of honor. He demonstrates this when he accepts his defeat and "inevitable death" at the hands of the Hotel staff after being reprimanded by Vox for failing. When Charlie forgives him, he is grateful and fully joins in his redemptive effort. Additionally, he is enthusiastic about Charlie and Vaggie's activities, more so than Angel Dust, even if it were an act. According to Husk, Sir Pentious is a lonely jester who likes to watch others while they sleep. He strives to be fashionable and cool. As Angel Dust noted, Sir Pentious is oblivious to sexual innuendos and tends to take things he is told very literally. He is emotionally attached to Egg Boiz and breaks down crying because Vaggie forced him to get rid of them. Humorously, the moment he retrieves them, he briefly expresses his relief and then orders them to make his bed. When it comes to Egg Boiz, he is used to the fact that they have always said "random nonsense" all the time, causing a huge downfall for him and his friends when one of them, Frank, actually said something, which was TRUE; that an angel was killed.

Skills

-Venomous Bite: Like Angel Dust, it has the ability to poison its victims with its bite, which can cause them to become ill. -Prehensile Tail: As demonstrated in the pilot, Sir Pentious can hold, squeeze, and throw things with his tail, including his own Egg Boiz. -Constriction: Sir Pentious can constrict his victims with his tail. This is demonstrated in the pilot when he squeezes one of the Egg Boiz. Sir Pentious turns this feature into metaphor when he lays out his plan to take over Hell, stating that no one could escape his "constrictive control." -Omnidirectional vision: Sir Pentious has eyes spread throughout his body, allowing him to see in different directions. -Hypnosis: Sir Pentious can hypnotize his victims with his eyes in his hood. This is shown in "Radio Killed the Video Star", however he appears to be quite weak, simply stunning Angel Dust for a few seconds.
