Sir Pentious

Appearance

Sir Pentious is a snake demon based on a cobra, with a pair of arms and multiple red eyes with vertical pupils along his tail and in his hood, who wears a gray jacket and a top hat. His skin is dark with a yellow belly. His hood that emulates long hair is black on the back and yellow on the front, with black tips and four red eyes. His neck is medium long, his teeth are yellow with two longer than the others and his hands end in long reddish claws. He wears a grey jacket with yellow vertical stripes over a yellow shirt underneath and a grey top hat with a red eye and sharp yellow teeth, which shows the same emotions as its wearer. His jacket along with the colors of his tail give him the appearance of wearing a full tuxedo. His hood extends when he displays some intense emotion such as surprise, anger or simply to show off.

Personality

Sir Pentious is bombastic, flamboyant, and persistent, and takes pride in how evil he is, looking for ways to join the Vees. He is also brave, enough to not be intimidated by taking on anyone in turf wars, including Alastor himself. However, Pentious was lonely, wanting friends, and taking his fury out on his Egg Boiz. As noted by Angel Dust, Sir Pentious doesn't really understand sexual innuendos; this may be due to the fact that he lived until the late 19th century when sexual innuendos and sexual jokes weren't really a known thing. According to Husk, Sir Pentious is an insecure jester who watches everyone while they sleep. When Charlie offered him a second chance, Sir Pentious began to change, for the better, showing a kinder side and starting to get along with the residents of the Hazbin Hotel, forming genuine friendships and feeling trust towards his new friends, especially Charlie and Angel. This change made Pentious take courage to confess his feelings for Cherri Bomb and give his life to try to kill Adam. He is emotionally attached to the Egg Boiz and breaks down in tears because Vaggie forced him to get rid of them. Humorously, the moment he gets them back, he briefly expresses his relief and then orders them to make his bed. When it comes to the Egg Boiz, he is used to the fact that they have always been "making up bullshit" all the time, causing a huge downfall for him and his friends when one of them, Frank, actually said something, which was true; that an angel was killed.

Skills

Immortality: As a Sinner, Sir Pentious is biologically immortal, being unable to die from disease, old age, or other natural causes, which keeps him the same age at which he died. He can recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry. Poisonous Bite: Like Angel Dust, Sir Pentious has the ability to poison his victims with his bite, which can cause them to become ill.[5] Prehensile Tail: As demonstrated in the pilot, Sir Pentious can hold, squeeze, and throw things with his tail, including the Egg Boiz themselves.
