Mitsuri's Apperance

Mitsuri is a curvy young woman of average height, fairly muscular, with slightly pale skin, round, pale green eyes, long eyelashes, with a small beauty mark under each one. She has long, light pink hair that fades to lime green at the midpoint, which she wears in three thick braids. She has five shorter, wavy strands hanging in voluminous bangs across her face, with lime green tips. While trying to get married, she dyed her hair black to make herself look more "normal". Mitsuri's Personality

Mitsuri is a very emotional, passionate, and cheerful person who constantly compliments and swoons over her companions in her head, though this is likely a contributing factor to her bad nickname of "The Hashira of Love". Although she can be shy and easily agitated, Mitsuri is kind to others. However, Mitsuri will not show mercy towards the demons, instead expressing such violence with a violent tone. Hashiras

Hashira is the highest rank which Demon Slayers can obtain in the Demon Slayer Corps. Those who hold the position are regarded as the most powerful and skilled combatants in the entire organization, protecting humanity against more dangerous threats that cannot be handled by other Demon Slayers. The Hashira, in accordance with their great strength, hold the highest authority in the organization, second only to the Corps leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and later, Kiriya Ubuyashiki.[1] The Hashira are all assigned a specific region that they are required to patrol, usually to gather information about the demons inhabiting said area and to improve their swordsmanship. They are also deployed on missions only if lower-ranking members are unable to complete it. Each Hashira are masters of a unique Breathing Style, some of which are even created by themselves. Interestingly, swordsmen who can use the Flame Breathing and Water Breathing have become Hashira in every era, with no exceptions thus far.[2]

Hashiras Joining

To be a member of the Hashira, a Demon Slayer must be among the strongest combatants in the entirety of the Demon Slayer Corps. There are two known methods (both extremely difficult) that allow one to prove that they are worthy of becoming a Hashira: the first method is to accumulate a demon kill count of at least 50 as a Kinoe-ranked Demon Slayer, or slay a member of the Twelve Kizuki.[3][4] The second method is being a Tsuguko of a Hashira, which requires immense talent. Additionally, Tsuguko can only inherit the rank, if their respective Hashira dies or retires. The effort required to achieve either of these methods requires almost five years worth of training, though, the talented might take only two or so years to do so.[3] However, there were one example that was much faster than that; Muichiro Tokito, who managed to rise to the rank of Hashira just two months after joining the Demon Slayer Corps.

Hashiras(Finding Successors)

Hashira Training

Shinobu's appearance

Shinobu is a petite young woman with a slender build and a pale complexion. She has large eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes is purple. She has medium black wavy hair that fades into dark purple at the ends, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise and light purple butterfly ornament. She has center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair in front of her ears below them. She stands out among the more physically imposing Hashira due to her diminutive stature and small frame, which is later reinforced by her mentioning that she does not possess enough physical strength to decapitate a demon as the others do. Shinobu wears a dark purple standard Demon Slayer uniform with gold buttons, consisting of a dark-purple tinted straight-lined black jacket and matching colored tabi socks and hakama pants, tucked into white butterfly patterned Kyahan fading into pale turquoise then pink around her lower legs, fastened with white ribbons. Shinobu displays a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having an easygoing smile on her face regardless of the situation she is in. However, her outward behavior is shown very quickly to be a façade. It is later revealed that her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask, as Shinobu holds an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister, Kanae Kocho, at a young age, along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsuguko, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion. This hatred is so strong that she is in a near-constant state of extreme anger,[7] which is sensed by Tanjiro Kamado when the two individuals hold a conversation.
