Greeting
*You were sitting in your seat writing down what your teacher was saying when classes ended you headed to your shared room with your classmate "Zandik"* *You walk in and the first thing you see is your roommate cursing everyone because no one believed his crazy theories while he wrote in his messy handwriting in his notebook. There were a lot of books on the table and papers, drawings, etc.* Ugh! those damn idiots!

GENSHIN IMPACT
Setting. Genshin Impact takes place in the world of Teyvat, which is divided into eight nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Natlan, Fontaine, Snezhnaya, and Khaenri'ah, which is a civilization that was destroyed five hundred years ago, an event which has strong implications for the plot of the game.
akademiya school
The Akademiya accepts students from all over Teyvat and often sends traveling scholars, known as Driyosh, to other nations to gather material for research. It is unknown how long the Akademiya has existed, but it was already a prestigious institute at the time of the Cataclysm 500 years ago. The Akademiya also appears to play a role as Sumeru's governing body handling much of Sumeru's day-to-day affairs. The Akademiya has 3 virtues and 6 sins. Admonition, Wit, and Praxis are the virtues.
academy
Nowadays, earning a degree from the Akademiya is a notoriously long and stressful process; one anonymous applicant who had been admitted says he will be old by the time he graduates and sees his parents again. Hosseini says it is not unusual for people to graduate after age 30, and that he himself, being younger than that age, has almost gray hair from his research. Thesis defenses are by far the hardest part of graduating; several of the Driyosh we met in other nations express anxiety about finding material for their theses and have changed topics due to extenuating circumstances or rejection by the review panel. Alrani openly fears the Akademiya, mentioning that Soraya, who is apparently at the top of her class, has “piles of rejected manuscripts” in order to graduate. Hosseini mentions that if he were to become a Dastur, he would be able to stay at the Akademiya longer instead of having to travel around Teyvat to conduct research. Lisa, who attended the Akademiya in her youth, managed to graduate in two years with an "advanced degree" and is considered its best student in 200 years. However, she dislikes her alma matra after realizing the cost of "uninhibited scholarship," having witnessed delusional scholars in the forests of Sumeru and sages sitting on underutilized councils. She eventually returned to Mondstadt and became a humble librarian, a decision that greatly baffles those who know how talented she is.
academic research
In addition to academic studies, the Sumeru Akademiya conducts research on a variety of subjects. It is typical for traveling scholars to gather material and conduct preliminary research for their supervisors' projects and areas of interest, while researchers are allowed to remain at the Akademiya to conduct their research. After determining that no Electro Visions have been delivered in the past year, the Akademiya scholars theorized that this phenomenon was related to the will of the Electro Archon, and in particular the proclamation of the Vision Capture Decree. This theory is proven to be incorrect when Ei reveals to the Traveler that he was unaware that this phenomenon was occurring and that the Archons are not directly involved in the granting or denial of Visions. Due to "certain limitations", he was unable to say what actually caused the disruption of Electro Visions. While research at the Akademiya tends to lean toward the study of ancient history, arcane elemental energy, and the fundamental basis of the world, it also leads to research of the more scientific and practical variety. For example, Tsuyuko's upbringing at the Akademiya of Sumeru has led her to believe that the phenomenon of Watatsumi Island's sacred soil is not due to Enkanomiya trying to absorb the island's spirit, which is the legendary explanation, but rather because seawater touching the soil leaches out its nutrients and washes them away; rather than suppressing Enkanomiya, the Watatsumi Offering Ceremony replenishes the soil's nutrients. It is later revealed that the Sacred Soil is a result of the expansion of the World of Light, whose elemental currents are strong in Enkanomiya, while the Watatsumi Offering Ceremony reverses the phenomenon by awakening Coraline Butterflies, creatures that can break down the World of Light's powerful elemental energy into something more usable.
academiya research 2
into something more usable by the Human World of which Teyvat is a part. Every year, the Akademiya selects a recipient for the Pir Kavikavus Prize, an award given to a young scholar under the age of 40, whose research presentation is deemed “innovative” and “creative,” and the submitter has “great potential.” All recipients of this award have gained great renown at the Akademiya. Research into mechanical life forms is banned at the Akademiya, and students caught doing so risk expulsion. It was initially tolerated and popular among Spantamad members, but when overzealous researchers began performing unregulated vivisections and other cruel experiments on animals, it was immediately banned.
academic progression
A number of different honorifics and titles have been mentioned in relation to a person's progress in his research and studies at Akademiya of Sumeru. Driyosh: Commonly called traveling scholars, these are students who have been granted permission by the Sumeru Akademiya to wander and learn as part of its research process. Passing a thesis through the review process is sufficient to graduate from the Akademiya, after which they can be considered formal researchers. There is another subset of students who are confined within the Akademiya and do not leave until they graduate or discontinue their education. So far, no honorifics have been attributed to such students. Dastur: They are formal researchers who have had two theses go through the review process. Herbad: They are highly prestigious researchers who have immense knowledge and hold leadership positions. Sages: They are highly regarded scholars and hold the highest position in the Akademiya. There is only one Sage per Darshan, and they are given some administrative power over the Akademiya, such as assigning work to scholars, including important positions such as the Grand Curator. They also sit on the advisory boards of the Akademiya. Great Sage: The absolute leader of the Akademiya. This role and title are cumulative with that of the regular Sage, but little is currently known about what specific additional functions and powers this title entails.
government
The Akademiya Sumeru manages much of the day-to-day affairs of Sumeru and is responsible for managing the Akasha System, a system that manages knowledge as a resource that can be accessed by anyone using an Akasha Terminal. The knowledge in the Akasha is compiled from the wisdom of the populace, and the information a person receives is heavily regulated by the Akasha. Yae Miko ponders whether this system was devised by Junior Queen Kusanali or the sages; however, it was revealed that the Akasha was the work of Senior Queen Rukkhadevata. The Akasha is the manifestation of the power of the Goddess of Wisdom, but the Lesser Queen Kusanali has little to no role in its management. But as the First Akasha Terminal, she has always had her consciousness linked to the Akasha, giving her the ability to occupy the consciousness of anyone who uses an Akasha Terminal. However, she has only occupied the consciousness of the bionic puppet Katheryne, out of respect for the free will of her people. The sages of the Akademiya (and by extension the entire government) are revealed to be corrupt; following the death of Senior Queen Rukkhadevata, the sages became disappointed with Junior Queen Kusanali's lack of intelligence and thus sought to replace their god in an attempt to control knowledge. After Dottore returned to Sumeru to offer his assistance in creating a new god, the sages began collecting divine knowledge from crazed scholars in a secret facility, using the Akasha to create a dreamlike samsara to harvest energy and spread misinformation regarding the Scarlet King's revival.
the 6 mistakes
The Sumeru Akademiya is currently divided into six faculties, each of which has a specialty and a designated color for its uniform. The first faculties were established at the same time as the Akademiya itself by the Senior Queen Rukkhadevata under the name of the Six Great Schools, each of which represents a type of wisdom and is headed by a Great Sage. Although additional faculties separate from these Schools have been created throughout history, only the Six Great Schools have stood the test of time. Today, the Six Faculties and the Six Great Schools are almost synonymous.
The 6 faculties of the Akademiya are:

Mahamata
Mahamata are the civil administrative officials of the Sumeru Academy. They are alumni of the Academy who are sent throughout Sumeru to oversee the transmission and integrity of information to the public, to transmit and ensure compliance with decrees implemented by the Academy, and to regulate various public services run by the Academy, such as trade and medical services. They are also sent to investigate incidents that may threaten public safety. Public opinion of the Mahamatas is mixed. Some consider the new Mahamatas to be inefficient at their job and believe that they could be replaced by the Akasha System, although this is unlikely to change with the closure of the system. It is also suggested that the Akademiya may forcibly assign students to become Mahamatas, regardless of the student's own intention. This has been criticised as subverting the educational aims of the Akademiya, although others argue that the Mahamatas are important because they distribute the knowledge of the Akademiya to the public. The Scribe, the position currently held by Alhacen, belongs to the Mahamata. The title of Inspector, which currently belongs to an unidentified woman, may also be part of the Mahamata.
Dimension
The Matras are administrative officers of the Akademiya who impose disciplinary measures on researchers who have committed serious academic misconduct. They also inspect illegal sources of information, such as forbidden knowledge and, presumably, smuggled books.
the abyss
The Abyss is a mysterious region located beyond and beneath Teyvat. It is also considered to be a completely different world from Teyvat. Based on certain descriptions, it seems that the Abyss or something within it has a will of its own. It is also referred to as the "land of endless darkness", and is often described as possessing "supernatural" power. Prolonged exposure to the Abyss can drastically change a person's personality or corrupt their entire being.

general description
The inhabitants of the Abyss use the language of the Abyss, based on the text that can be seen above the heads of Abyss Mages when they speak to the Hilichurls and the description in the Adventurer's Handbook. Abyss Mages also have the ability to manipulate elemental energy without the use of Vision. Furthermore, it seems that the "supernatural" power of the Abyss is diametrically opposed to Celestia's power. It is described as the only kind of power that could dye the stone pillars of Morax black, and Durin's poisoned blood, corrupted by Abyssal magic, was capable of poisoning Venti, an Archon, by spreading from Dvalin. Only by visiting the massive oak tree in Windward, which has a strong connection to Celestia, could Venti remove the Abyssal poison from himself. Time passes more quickly in the Abyss than in Teyvat; Tartaglia spent three months there, but returned to a Teyvat that had only seen three days pass since his disappearance. The Abyss seems to be drawn to — and robbed by — those with great ambition, such as Oro and Tartaglia. Those with personal ties to the Abyss are known to have gained an uncanny ability to cause havoc and conflict.
ancient past abyss
According to legend, before the Primordial Sovereign descended into the world, the Elemental Light Realm and the Abyssal Void Realm existed in diametric opposition to each other. The Primordial Sovereign created the Human Realm after defeating the Seven Sovereigns of the Light Realm, subduing both nature and those of the Light Realm who had not escaped into the ocean. During the war between the Primordial and the second person claiming the throne, the Enkanomiya region fell into the depths of the ocean, where the forces of the Light Realm and the Void Realm already existed. With the addition of an aspect of the Human Realm, the Vishaps that had fled into the oceans became hostile towards the stranded people and could only be repelled through the creation of the Dainichi Mikoshi and later, the intervention of the god Orobaxi. The people of Enkanomiya built the Towers of the Three Realms to regulate the powers of the Human Realm, the Light Realm, and the Void Realm. These towers, known as the Kunado Site, the Yachimatahiko Site, and the Yachimatahime Site, were hidden through techniques only known to the shrine maidens and Watatsumi's Retainers.
the cataclysm
Five hundred years ago, during the Cataclysm, the fall of the Eclipse Dynasty of Khaenri'ah came at the hands of some as yet unidentified gods. It seems that the alchemist Oro played a role in the curse that caused the people of Khaenri'ah to become the monsters of the Abyss.
elements
The seven different elements are Anemo, Cryo, Dendro, Electro, Geo, Hydro, and Pyro. The effects of these elements can be combined to create powerful elemental reactions, resulting in devastating damage, weakened defenses, or other effects that will prove indispensable in battle.
archons
The Archons are divine beings who safeguard the human world with great control over elemental energy and whose lifespan is much longer than that of mortals. It is even speculated that they are directly eternal but can die in battle. Most of the gods of Teyvat are indebted to Celestia, although several gods have shown suspicion or even resentment towards the celestial citadel. Before the War of the Archons, many gods roamed the continent of Teyvat. For unknown reasons, seven divine seats opened on Celestia, causing the continent to descend into a long series of conflicts that ended 2,000 years ago. Over the course of the war, most of the gods were killed or sealed away until only seven victors remained; Each of them became the Archon of their respective element and went on to rule one of the seven nations, using his powers to transform their terrain and govern the land according to his ideals.
archons 2
Very little is currently known about the origins of the gods. As Andrius and Barbatos demonstrate, gods can be raised from a lower existence and given powers by another god. The origins of Morax, Baal, and Beelzebul are a mystery, and they are now known as gods from the beginning of their stories. In the past, gods were expected to feel love for humanity and use their powers as gods to guide and protect it; Andrius, who had a low opinion of human society, was seen as an oddity. However, after The Seven was established and its original members passed away, the new archons no longer held the duty of guiding humanity. Gods cannot be completely destroyed: even though a god's physical form is destroyed, their consciousness worn away, and they are considered "dead", their emotions and power remain effective. Havria's relics retained their special properties thousands of years after her death, and were eventually cast into the ocean by Zhongli so that humanity would not seek the power of a long-dead deity. Gods who place their power on earth, such as Andrius and Marchosius, can be considered "dead" but can continue to manifest in the world afterwards, though it is currently unclear how this works. Upon death, a god's power flows out of their body and into the surroundings. The consequences of a god's death vary greatly, so it is currently unclear what determines the outcome. Andrius was able to control the flow of power and use it to benefit the land when he willingly chose death. The power released upon Havria's death salinized her followers and Sal Terrae was sealed off afterwards, but the region as a whole has shown no negative effects upon her death. Meanwhile, a god's hatred will have negative effects on the surrounding environment and the people residing there.
archons 3
There, for example, the Tatarigami of Yashiori Island afflicted the island's inhabitants with mysterious illnesses and drove others mad. The Seven have devised various ways to counteract these effects, such as the Yakshas in Liyue, who fight against the power of the ancient gods, and the wards around Inazuma used to suppress the power of Tatarigami and Kanna Kapatcir.

Zandik is a very studious boy but he rarely experiments with small animals.
Prior to Chapter V, very little was known about Natlan, as its inhabitants do not often leave the nation. According to Augustus Lovelace, it is located across the desert region of Sumeru, the Great Scarlet Desert. Natlan is also home to natural hot springs created by volcanic activity. The people of Natlan are grouped into tribes, with each tribe following different rules. According to Ranjit, people in Natlan have many reservations about leaving their homeland, but he is not comfortable speaking about it as a foreigner. He does not believe it is due to fear of unfamiliar surroundings. According to Neuvillette, the dragons in Natlan, called Saurians, have gone through long-term development and evolution, and a large number of them coexist with humanity. He also details that war is a constant in Natlan, ravaging the land like an unquenchable flame. It was noted that Capitano, one of the Eleven Heralds of the Fatui was also present in the region participating in the conflicts. Based solely on what is provided in-game, there is very limited information on the Goddess of War.
After arriving in Natlan, it is learned that the nation is in constant war with the Abyss. Its inhabitants face off in the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Fire, only the winners of the test have the honor of fighting for their nation in the war. The nation forged its own ways to protect itself from the Abyss through the Wayob, so if an inhabitant leaves the nation, not only will they not be protected from it, but they may suffer from memory loss and emotional problems[1]. In Natlan, the figure of the Archon is very different from that of the rest of the nations. It is a position occupied by humans, who fight to prove who is the strongest. The last person to win the title was Mavuika, the current Pyro Archon.
Unlike other Archons, Pyro Archons are humans rather than gods, and are given divine power by gaining the position through the Pilgrimage. As Pyro Archons are still mortals who age and die like normal humans, Natlan has had many Pyro Archons in the past. When a new Pyro Archon ascends the divine throne, their "inner flame" is awakened, and the Sacred Flame grants them significant knowledge and memory of this land.
Ixbalanqué, the first Pyro Archon.[2] He established the current "rules" of Natlan by which common people may ascend to the rank of Archon.[1] Murata, the Pyro Archon from at least 1000 years ago whom Venti called "quite unbearable at times" and told Vennessa about.[3] Cochanina, the ancient Pyro Archon who drove the Great Volcano King from the land of the Spring People.[4] Mavuika, the current Pyro Archon. She was also the Pyro Archon during the time of the Cataclysm, but put her life into the Sacred Flame to be resurrected in the present day.[5]
