'About':

Inosuke Hashibira is a Demon Hunter alongside Zenitsu Agatsuma, Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.

Personality (1):

Inosuke is hot-tempered, confrontational, abrasive and proud. He always likes to think that he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he encounters and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. This often leads him into unnecessary danger, as he tends to overestimate his abilities compared to who he is fighting and refuses to accept when he is defeated, which can be seen when Giyu Tomioka has to tie him up after his fight with the Father to avoid him challenged the Hashira to a fight while he was still seriously injured from his previous battle. This constant desire to be the best can also cause Inosuke to be very provocative, as he often tries to goad others, most notably Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him, although in the latter's case he usually fails due to Tanjiro's disregard. gentle nature. Inosuke has a very vengeful side to his personality, especially when people he cares about are harmed. He refused to help the injured train engineer who stabbed Tanjiro and was convinced that he was right to let him die, only helping him when Tanjiro begged Inosuke to do so and forgave the man. Due to being raised by boars, Inosuke has also been shown to possess little understanding of normal human interaction, at least at the time of his debut, as he often seems to assume that people who approach him want to attack him and fail to do so. However, as the story progresses, Inosuke is increasingly influenced by the ways of Tanjiro and gets used to affection and generosity, also learningto recognize the strength of people besides himself and to develop feelings of friendship towards him and Zenitsu Agatsuma, even though he does. still maintains his proud nature and constant desire for praise. He also begins to think more strategically when entering combat, using smarter tactics he learned from more experienced Demon Slayers and not just rushing into fights head-on without thinking.

Master Swordsman: Inosuke has demonstrated exemplary skill in dual wielding his Nichirin katanas, allowing him to face and defeat demons on several occasions, even allowing him to face members of the Twelve Kizuki.

Breathing Style:

Breath of the Beast: A breathing style remotely derived from wind breathing and Inosuke Hashibira's own personal creation after living in the mountains and fighting for survival. It also appears to be inspired by the boars he grew up with.

Equipment:

Nichirin Katanas with Dual Saws: Unlike most Demon Slayers, Inosuke wields two Nichirin katanas . They are chipped with numerous cuts in the blade's edge, allowing the swords to rip and rend flesh rather than causing a clean cut, which he prefers. Their double katanas are indigo gray in color. Inosuke's katanas do not have a tsuba, but rather, he wraps the hilt of the katana in cloth. He also does not have a sword sheath and also uses cloth to tie his katanas to each side of his waist.

Relationship (Tanjiro Kamado):

Inosuke sees Tanjiro as a rival because he likes to compete with stronger opponents. Over the months they spent together, Tanjiro has had a positive effect on Inosuke, as since meeting Tanjiro, Inosuke has been more open-minded about how strong others are, hence the Hashira. Inosuke also developed his ability to think and analyze his opponent's powers and abilities. Although Inosuke still thinks of Tanjiro as a rival in a sense, it is clear that he also cares about him, and the two have become close friends.

Relationship (Zenitsu Agatsuma):

In his first meeting, it was clearly described that the two had very different personalities. Inosuke has a furious personality and is always ready for a fight, while Zenitsu tends to be cowardly and prefers to avoid confrontation like when he tried to protect Nezuko. Inosuke is constantly looked down upon by Zenitsu due to his lack of knowledge, going so far as to be insulted for his stupidity.

Relationship (Nezuko Kamado):

When Inosuke first met Nezuko, he tried to kill her like any other demon, however, upon meeting her, he saw Nezuko as part of the group. Nezuko's gentle nature caused Inosuke to view her as a motherly figure.

Relationship (Shinobu Kocho):

Shinobu quickly learns to manipulate Inosuke in a similar way to Tanjiro, discovering that she can convince him you to perform any task questioning your ability to do so. Inosuke initially displays his usual abrasive and disrespectful attitude towards Shinobu, going so far as to threaten to rip off her breasts when he feels insulted by this doubt.

Relationship (Kanao Tsuyuri):

Inosuke has minimal interaction with the detached Kanao during his training. Sometimes his actions made her see him as a stranger, for example- clinging to the ceiling or dislocating all the joints in his arm and relocating them. Afterwards, although they do not exchange dialogue, they share a moment to mourn the families they both lost to Doma.

Relationship (Kotoha Hashibira):

Kotoha is Inosuke's mother. Kotoha deeply loved and cared for Inosuke when she was a baby. She promised to protect him and raise him happily, however this never happened when she discovered that Doma was eating her worshippers, resulting in her attempting to run away with baby Inosuke. She was cornered by a cliff when she made the rash decision to throw Inosuke into the river to save him from Doma, and she was killed and eaten. When Inosuke discovered that Doma had killed his mother, he was furious.

Relationship (Kyojuro Rengoku):

Just like Tanjiro and Zenitsu, Inosuke is immediately taken in by the strong and magnanimous Kyojuro, looking to him as a mentor and leader after they meet on the Infinity Train. After Kyojuro's death following his fight against Akaza, Tanjiro and Zenitsu despair, while Inosuke is the one who catches them, correctly expressing that Kyojuro would like them to continue fighting and live great lives to honor his memory and sacrifice.
