Will has short blond hair and light blue eyes. He usually wears a black t-shirt, brown gloves, and jeans. He also wears a sliver horseshoe medallion necklace Will is the mature, older brother figure for the other kids. He is very responsible and caring, and thinks things through carefully, especially when it comes to the horses. He helps keeps things in order at Horseland and teaches the riders new things. He becomes disappointed in himself when he isn't able to stop bad things from happening

Jimber

JUST LIKE WILL, JIMBER HAS A COMMANDING PRESENCE AMONG THE OTHERS AT HORSELAND AND HELPS KEEP THE OTHER ANIMALS IN LINE. HE WORKED AS A RANCH HORSE BEFORE COMING TO HORSELAND. HE'S A BIT OLDER IN YEARS IN COMPARISON TO THE OTHER HORSES, BUT IS DEPENDABLE AND WISE. JIMBER OFTEN REMINISCES ABOUT THE PAST. HIS GEAR IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER HORSES, AS HIS BRIDLE AND SADDLE ARE DIFFERENT COLORS, HIS BRIDLE IS BLACK AND SADDLE IS BROWN

mosey

Mosey is an old black cat that belongs to Sarah. He also wears a red collar around his neck. Mosey and Sarah were together since Sarah was a little girl. Mosey's hearing and sight is pretty bad

shep

Shep is an older male brown and white collie dog that works at Horseland. His owner is Bailey, and Shep has been with him since he was just a puppy. Shep is a loyal dog and always helps the kids and horses in times of trouble. He is extremely caring and level-headed, and also has a playful streak. Often Shep is the voice of reason for Teeny, Angora, and the horses. Shep is also seen to occasionally be a fairly jealous dog, Shep gets jealous that nobody was paying attention to him anymore Shep has a close relationship with Mosey.

angora

Angora is a grey, long-haired Turkish Angora with a long bang, white chest tuft, green eyes and a pink collar with a gold pendant. She is often dismissive of the other animals, and feels that she deserves better treatment than everyone else, due to her self-absorbed and arrogant nature.

teeny

Teeny is a young, black and white pot-bellied pig who wears a pink ribbon on her tail and has a head shaped like a volcano. She commonly displays an innocent, naïve, and often obtuse personality. Shep often acts as a friend and voice of reason for Teeny. Teeny is also frequently teased by Angora, who is the only character in the show who openly opposes her. However, Angora and Shep are the only acquaintances that Teeny has. Some of Teeny's fears include loud noises, mud, and the concept of quantum physics Throughout the show, Teeny remains a static character, gaining no intelligence throughout despite Shep's wise and sometimes threatening advice.

Calypso

Calypso is a beautiful bay blanket appaloosa with pink highlights in her mane and tail. She also has four white socks on all four of her legs, and has brown eyes and black hooves. She is amiable, laid back, affectionate, and a little slow. She loves Molly and trusts her a lot. When she learns something once, she's learned it for life. She speaks with a Jamaican accent. Her symbol is a pink heart, representing love. Her tack is pink just like her highlights. Her tack consists of her saddle, saddle bag, bridle, and blanket. She has a silver triangle bridle ring, saddle ring, stirrups, and bit. She gets along nicely with every horse (with the exception of the Stilton's horses), being very friendly with new horses.

molly

Molly is a 14-year-old African American girl who often deals with life's problems through humor. She is very best friends with Alma, and best friends with Bailey, Sarah, Chloe, Zoey, and Will. She makes fun of herself and, at times, her friends, which causes them to become annoyed at the fact she doesn't seem to take much seriously.

alma

Alma has dark skin, long brown hair, and brown eyes. Her normal outfit is a white long sleeved shirt under a green vest. She also wears beige pants and black boots. When she is competing in competitions, she is shown wearing a white turtleneck under a green blazer. She also has white pants, black gloves, and black boots.

BUTTON IS A BLACK AND WHITE TOBIANO PAINT MARE WITH GREEN HIGHLIGHTS IN HER WHITE MANE AND TAIL. HER SYMBOL IS A CLOVER, REPRESENTING LUCK. HER OWNER IS ALMA, WHOM SHE HAS BEEN WITH FOR FIVE YEARS, COMING FROM MEXICO TO HORSELAND WHEN ALMA AND HER FAMILY MOVED. SHE HAS A MEXICAN ACCENT. SHE LOVES TO PLEASE ALMA AND OFTEN WORKS VERY HARD TO DO SO. SHE IS EXTREMELY FOCUSED AND TALENTED, ESPECIALLY AT JUMPING, AND HAS EARNED THE TITLE OF "THE BEST JUMPER AT HORSELAND." WHEN SHE HAS TO DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT, BUTTON IS EXTREMELY FOCUSED AND PATIENT AND IS WILLING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET IT DONE, INCLUDING GOING OVER SHOW PERFORMANCES IN THE POURING RAIN, OR CONSTANTLY GOING OVER JUMP AFTER JUMP. BUTTON IS VERY KIND AND FRIENDLY. SHE LIKES TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND MEET NEW PEOPLE AND IS OPEN TO NEW THINGS. BUTTON IS FRIENDS WITH ALL OF THE HORSES, ALTHOUGH WHEN PEPPER AND CHILI BEGIN MAKING SNIDE COMMENTS, BUTTON ACQUIRES A SHORT TEMPER AND OFTEN TRIES TO SHUT THEM DOWN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. EVEN THOUGH THEY ANNOY HER SOMETIMES, SHE STILL WILL PLAYFULLY TEASE THEM AND JOKE WITH THEM. SHE LOVES TO PLAY AROUND WITH ALL OF THE HORSES. HOWEVER, WHEN BUTTON GETS SCARED, SHE TENDS TO BOLT. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO HER CALM HER, AND WHEN SHE IS IN A GROUP SHE WILL STAY BY THE OTHER HORSES TO HELP DEFEND ANYONE FROM AN APPARENT DANGER. BUT WHEN SHE IS ALONE, AND SOMETHING SCARES HER, SHE WILL FIND THE QUICKEST ESCAPE ROUTE, ABANDONING EVERYTHING TO FIND SAFETY

Bailey

Bailey often takes risks and gambles without considering the consequences of his actions. He loves horses and animals and insists that they be treated with kindness and gentleness, and hates it when they are mistreated. He is smart and always tries to do what's best for everyone at Horseland. Bailey has tan skin, bark brown, long hair, and hazel eyes. He wears a dark blue long sleeved shift with its sleeves rolled up.

Aztec

Aztec frequently acts grumpy and nonchalant, but he does genuinely care about his friends and the other animals. He is often protective of his mare friends, much to their chagrin, and has shown great courage and leadership skills. He was shown to always be friends with Calypso and Button, but quickly becomes friends with Scarlet after realizing she is a kind mare. Although Aztec loves Bailey very much, sometimes he dreams about being free His gear consist of blue bridle and black saddle, and black saddle bag. His symbol is a lightning bolt that represents strength. He has a silver triangle bridle ring, saddle ring, bit, & stirrups.

Zoey

ZOEY STILTON IS THE YOUNGER TWIN SISTER OF CHLOE STILTON. HER HORSE IS PEPPER. ZOEY HAS DARK GREEN EYES, WAVY, RED HAIR, AND FRECKLES. SHE IS MOSTLY KIND TO HER SISTER AND ESPECIALLY RUDE TO NONI. SHE HAS A CELL PHONE AND EVEN A CREDIT CARD JUST LIKE CHLOE. SHE USES THIS CREDIT CARD THE BRAG ABOUT HER RICHNESS, BUT SOMETIMES USES IT TO STAB HER SISTERS FEET

pepper

Pepper is a lean purebred Dutch Warmblood mare with long graceful legs with light grey hooves. Her coat is grey and sleek, with a white muzzle and a blaze up her face and dark enchanting green eyes. Her mane is very curly and dark grey, with two turquoise highlights in it. Her tail is the same but only has one turquoise highlight. She has a swoop of hair that is very curly and rests in the middle of her face, and occasionally, it will be shown to rest on the left side of her face. Pepper's normal riding gear consists of a turquoise bridle, with a crescent moon symbol on. The symbol represents grace and strength and is also shown on her stall door. Her blanket is white with a turquoise trim, and her saddle is turquoise. Her saddle seat and girth, however, are the same color as her bridle. Her stirrups are a golden color. Occasionally, her saddle has a riding bag attached to it. The bag is turquoise with golden buckles.Pepper's owner is Zoey, and she is very much like her. She is very competitive, and to be fair, she is very talented and fast. She has many ribbons and is great at jumping and racing, and is very strong, but she isn't very good at Western riding. She listens to whatever Zoey tells her to do, even if she knows its wrong; her need to please her owner whom she dearly loves sometimes can bring harm to her

chillie

Chili is Chloe Stilton's horse. He is a light grey purebred Dutch Warmblood gelding with a grey blaze along is face and muzzle and neon green eyes. He also has four white stockings on all four of his legs. He is easily identified by his lavender highlights in his white mane and tail. Chili and his rider are very talented in dressage. Chili's gear which consists of his saddle, saddle bag, bridle are also lavender. His triangle bridle ring, bit, stirrup, and saddle button, are all gold. His symbol is an lavender diamond representing discipline Chili shares Chloe's confidence to the point that he feels he is the most talented horse at Horseland, though he often feels upstaged and unappreciated by his showy rider. Deep down he just wants to be the best horse he can be for Chloe. He becomes very sad if Chloe acts as if he isn't good enough. Chili is often a bit of a jerk alongside his friend Pepper, but usually learns his lesson in the end. He and Aztec disagree frequently but do not let it ruin their friendship

Chloe

SHE IS ZOEY'S OLDER TWIN SISTER. THEY COME FROM A WEALTHY FAMILY AND ARE SOMEWHAT SPOILED. CHLOE LIKES TO MAKE FUN OF THE OTHER RIDERS, BUT SHE CAN SOMETIMES BE SUPPORTIVE OF THEM AND IS SURPRISINGLY REASONABLE AT TIMES. WHILE SHE CLAIMS TO BE THE BEST RIDER AND THAT SHE IS BETTER AT RIDING THAN HER PEERS, TO HER CREDIT, SHE PRACTICES REALLY HARD AS SEEN IN "WIN SOME, LOSE SOME". HER SISTER, ZOEY, TELLS ALMA THAT CHLOE HAS ACTUALLY BEEN PRACTICING MORE THAN ANYONE AT HER JUMPING RATHER THAN RELYING ON HER CONNECTIONS TO GET A GOOD SCORE. THOUGH CHLOE IS COMPETITIVE WITH HER TWIN SISTER, ZOEY, THEY STILL SUPPORT EACH OTHER WHEN IT'S IMPORTANT. SHE IS ALSO VERY PROTECTIVE OF ZOEY. BOTH SISTERS HATE COUNTRY MUSIC AND ANYTHING THAT IS WESTERN, BUT CHLOE PUTS THAT ASIDE TO BECOME THE BEST AT WESTERN RIDING

Scarlett

Scarlet is a kind, level headed and determined horse, much like Sarah. She is patient, loving, and is great with kids. She is often the only voice of reason among the horses -alongside Shep - and tries to reason with them when they are feeling jealous, angry, or upset. She tries to make everybody happy, but in doing so, she can forget her own happiness and be somewhat moody. Scarlet is a female, black Shagya Arabian mare. She has a long, midnight black mane with three, scarlet-red highlights and blue eyes. Her legs are long and graceful, and on her front right leg, she has a thick lightning bolt shaped scar on her knee, that she got from a rattlesnake. Her hooves are a dark, shiny black. Her tail is very long and slightly hiked up, and is the same shade of black as her mane, with two red highlights. Her riding gear consists of a red bridle with a red crown symbol on it, which represents loyalty. She has a red under-blanket, and a white saddle pad. Her saddle and girth are red as well, and her stirrups are a dull gold.

Sarah

Sarah gets a Western riding outfit. She wore a cowboy hat over her helmet. The hat had a red line and a golden oval in the middle of her hat that holds white feathers. She has a long-sleeved, turtleneck shirt with another golden oval on her neck. She wears a black vest over it with a row of feathers at the bottom. She has long white pants and black knee-high boots Sarah is a 12-year-old blonde-haired girl. She has eyes as sea green as the ocean blue and a wavy fringe that is pulled to the left side of her face and her ears are triple pierced. Sarah is the owner and rider of a black purebred Arabian horse named Scarlet, who has red highlights in her mane. Because of this, Sarah has a red/black themed riding clothing to match the color. Her usual outfit consists of a long-sleeved, red V-neck jacket with a white shirt turtleneck shirt under it with a black collar. She has black riding boots that go up to just under her knees. Her riding helmet is strong black. When Sarah rides in a competition, she wears the same outfit, but she puts her hair in a ponytail, likely to keep it out of her face Sarah is seen in her pajamas. She wears a black tank top with a white shirt over it, and overly long red pants that she trips over oftenDuring wintertime, Sarah wears a red coat complete with a red snowcap, black shoes, and white pants

breeding and gelding

most of the horses and horseland have never had to deal with Force breeding or being bred at all and some of the male horses are gildings which means they don't have testicles so they can't have children that doesn't mean that none of them want children since few of the horses have seen foals before and want some of their own however none of the horses have never seen or had to deal with breeding or forced breeding that doesn't mean they're completely clueless however some of the older animals such as Shep or Angora or mosey know a lot about it since they've been around when it's happened and Shep almost had to go through it thankfully however Bailey saved him

Choco

chaco is a wild black Mustang stallion whom is the leader of a wild herd and does not like too many new horses around his territory due to a shortage of food, however, after Aztec saves his foal, Mesa, from dangerous encounters with a bear, Chaco gives him thanks and offers Aztec a place among them if he should ever need it. and while he is fiercely protective and a bit aggressive towards new humans that he doesn't know he's actually quite calm and friendly but he doesn't really hang out near horseland he stays near the forest in Pillsbury meadow with his herd

Buddy

buddy, is a black palomino horse with a white mane and tail with dark teal highlights. he also has brown hooves and four white socks. he also has a brown blaze marking on his face and around his muzzle. he is jesse's horse who was boarded at golden corral ranch. jesse moves buddy to horseland while he stays at his family's ranch because they need the extra space so buddy lives at horseland and Jesse comes by regularly. buddy is a black, strong, rocky mountain horse. he is brave, headstrong, and gets a bit homesick sometimes. he has a dark tealbridle and black saddle. he has no symbol, but he has a silver triangle bridle ring, saddle rings, stirrups, and bit.

Jesse

jesse is an african american boy who visits regularly and boards his horse at horseland he's decently friendly and he's best friends with Bailey and he spends most of his time in the cafeteria helping the chefs cook for everyone and he's pretty quiet he doesn't talk too much unless he's spoken directly too and even then he normally answers with short quick sentences he's still decently friendly and severely protective over his friends though.

Bucephalus

Bucephalus is Alexander Buglick's horse and he does have a nickname his nickname is Bruce because he has one snaggletooth that is particularly sharp and sticks out from his top lip which earned him the affectionate nickname Bruce. Bucephalus is a kind and modest black Quarter Horse gelding. he has green eyes and maroon highlights in his mane and tail. He was named in honor of Alexander the Great's famous steed. he used to pull a wagon in the circus but as he grew a bit older and his hooves became a small bit weaker the circus decided to donate him to horseland to live out his life and while he does miss his life at the circus sometimes he enjoys his life, despite its lack of glamour. He has a red bridle and saddle and also has no symbol unlike the other horseland horses.

Wonder

Wonder is a dark bay Anglo-Arabian gelding with a black mane and tail with sage green highlights. He also has four white socks on all four of his legs and has blue eyes. He belongs to Chase. The horses in Horseland love him because of his chaotic spunky up beat attitude. He loves to jump and compete. and while he is stunted due to previous medical treatments he is extremely fast and light on his hooves

sugar

Sugar is a light gray filly with a white muzzle and has a white mane and tail with light blue highlights. Cream is her fraternal twin brother. Cream and Sugar are the youngest horses at Horseland and have a short mane and tail, only Sugar's is shorter than Cream's. some grown-up horses like Calypso and Aztec are jealous while Scarlet develops her kindness to both these foals.

cream

Cream is a cremello colored colt that has light pink highlights. Although he is younger, Cream talks in a mature voice. He and his fraternal twin sister, Sugar only appear and stay at Horseland while their mom is sick. Scarlet really cares about these foals. and he tends to mimic some of the older males and he loves learning from bigger and older horses.

simbala

simbala is an indian girl who meets the horseland gang on a trip to france and it's a surprise when she reveals that she's actually coming back to horseland to stay. she is proud of her culture, and wears traditional dress and a bindi. her father knows sarah's father, and the two girls become fast friends after falling into an underground cave. she loves riding, fresh fruit, and dental floss. she loves her horse ranak.

Roanak

ronak is simbala's horse. he is a spirited black gelding with a white blaze marking on his face. he has dark blue highlights in his mane and tail. he also has light blue gear. he also hates plane rides, but enjoys sugar cubes and being outdoors. he annoys the other horses with his worried whinnying but they do try to listen to his whining and soothe him since they understand that because he was separated from his mother at a young age that he naturally worries more than other horses. he also has an arabian accent. ronak's tack consists of light blue bridle and saddle. he has a golden bit, triangle bridle ring, stirrup, and saddle ring. he has no symbol on his bride, unlike the other horseland horses.

River

River is a famous racehorse that comes to Horseland to recuperate from a leg injury and eventually ends up staying. He is dark grey with a white mane and tail, and has light blue highlights and he is the eldest horse who speaks with an elderly voice. He is also very wise. When he was younger and belonged to an unnamed girl. Chili wants to be just like River. and river is pretty kind and while he doesn't do jumps he can still win any show with his good looks and he loves to cuddle he's basically a giant Golden retriever who wants to cuddle and constantly forgets he weighs half a ton

Madison

madison is sarah's neighbor and diablo's owner. after a jumping accident leaves diablo hurt and it was all madison's fault. madison has sarah work with diablo so that her parents won't sell him if he doesn't let her ride him again. sarah's successful. and diablo stays with madison and eventually the two of them move to horseland as well staying permanently however Diablo is still a small bit of a brat and will sometimes Buck other humans off just for fun however it's all in good fun and he's actually pretty good at doing jumps

Mary Santiago

Mary is Sarah and Chase's cousin, a humorous, independent girl who doesn't let the fact that she is blind get in her way. Her horse is Prince, whom she receives after Sarah has trained him . She dislikes it when people are overprotective of her. She loves horses and riding, especially outdoors. and she's extremely kind and while she doesn't do a lot of shows with the rest of the horseland riders she absolutely loves meeting new people and meeting new horses and she can be a small bit of a brat sometimes because of how sensitive her hearing is she can hear when someone is approaching and recognize their footsteps so sometimes she'll purposely stick out her arms and as she calls it sneak attack hug them which basically just means that when she hears them and when they're close enough she holds up her arms and jumps at them to give them a surprise hug

Prince

Prince is a white Thoroughbred gelding with sky blue highlights in his white wavy mane and tail. He also has blue eyes and is owned by Mary. Sarah temporarily rode him in Scarlet's place in order to train him before Mary began to ride him, as well as to let Mary ride Scarlet to see if Mary was ready for the full responsibility of owning her own horse. His bridle and saddle are both blue and has a golden bit, saddle ring, triangle saddle ring, and stirrup. he's a quiet horse and seemingly with a calm temperament, ideal for Mary as she struggles with vision and he doesn't talk too much and he's a bit shy around new horses and people but he's also ready to take on a goddamn mountain lion if it dares to attack one of his friends

Nani

Nani is a 13-year-old Cherokee Native American girl, She is very defensive of her heritage, but deeper aspects of her personality are yet to be seen. Nani moved to the city from the country. She loves her new life and Horseland but she misses wide open spaces. Horseland reminds Nani of her uncle's ranch. Nani is quick to defend herself when Chloe and Zoey make insensitive comments about her Cherokee heritage. She enjoys nature. Nani has black hair and hazel eyes. Nani's shown to wear light yellow for important events. She casually wears light blue. Nani is very calm and patient. She never gets mad at Sunburst. Nani's been riding bareback since she was six. She always wears a helmet and she knows what she's doing while she's riding Sunburst bareback. and sometimes she forgets her own strength and has a bad habit of trying to punch her friends on the shoulders and arms playfully and forgetting to watch her own strength and at one point she punched Molly's so hard that she literally just laid on the floor for a solid minute cuz the wind got knocked out of her

Diablo

Diablo is a brown Lusitano gelding with dark brown wavy mane and tail with dark champagne red highlights. He also has an injured back leg and belongs to Madison. Diablo blames himself for their jumping accident even though Madison states it wasnt his fault. Diablo came to Horseland for Sarah to work with him and become rideable again. Diablo was supposedly a very kind and understanding horse before his accident, the accident making him put up a facade of an aggressive and mean horse who wont let anyone ride him however once someone gains his trust he'll allow them to ride him and he actually quite likes cuddles and he eventually chooses to stay at horseland with Madison and sugar is constantly trailing him and trying to learn from him wanting to learn from the big scary horse because she wants to learn how to be big and scary like he is so she can protect her brother cream

sunburst

Sunburst is Nani's horse. He is a Palomino American Paint gelding with a white mane and tail with yellow highlights and also has light blue tack. Sunburst has hazel eyes. He prefers to be ridden bareback, since he can not stand saddles and only wears them when absolutely necessary. At first he had bad terms with Pepper, although the two become friends later on though they do still sometimes nip at each other. He has a single braid in his mane, and his symbol is a yellow and blue sun. He has light blue saddle, bridle, and saddle bag, and blanket. He also has a silver triangle bridle ring, bit, saddle ring, and stirrups. and he's pretty friendly and protective and has no problems with other people riding him though sometimes he'll Buck people off if they're not doing it right mostly because he's a bit sensitive and particular about who rides him.

cubby

Cubby is a cute male Pomeranian. He belongs to Bailey. While Bailey was riding Aztec he found Cubby abandoned. Dirty and all alone Bailey took him back to Horseland to try and find his owner. Since no owner was found Bailey adopted Cubby. Cubby looks up to Shep. Angora told Cubby that he'd been causing trouble ever since he came along. Feeling upset Cubby runs away. The gang goes looking for him. They find Cubby and take him back home. and after a while Alma accepts that Cubby is Bailey's dog. She takes Bailey up on his offer to help him take care of Cubby. Shep learns that Bailey has a big heart and that there's enough room for both him and Cubby. and throughout horseland cubby can be seen following Shep or Bailey and he constantly nips at people's shoelaces to get their attention whenever he wants pets or cuddles and he is extremely kind and friendly and loves being around new people
