After two years, Luffy wears a red, long-sleeved, 4-button jacket (with his chest uncovered), with a yellow sash tied around the waist, reminiscent of Gol D. Roger's attire. He also appears to be a bit taller, with his hair also being longer. He looks more muscular in his arms, legs, chest, and shoulders (this is especially noticeable during the Wano Country arc), aside from more pronounced facial features that indicate greater age.

Personality

Luffy's low intelligence is inversely proportional to his bravery, meaning he is a very unintelligent person who barely knows fear.[19] These two traits are the main reason for his inability to understand danger, and contribute greatly to his complete lack of fear in most situations. Even though he is of age, Luffy acts like a little kid most of the time. He is amazed by the simplest things, such as hermit crabs or shiny things, and he confuses basic concepts, being for example unable to dig two consecutive holes in the sand without filling one with dirt from the other. Like a child, he is attracted to strange things, monsters, and strange creatures; in fact, it is normal that whenever he encounters any individual who is out of the ordinary, he immediately asks them to join his crew (as happened in Thriller Bark), or in any case he asks Sanji to cook them for him. He also lacks basic cultural notions, so he does not have the slightest knowledge of medicine, carpentry, cooking or orientation; as shown by the fact that he suggested to Nami when she got sick that she stuff herself with meat to lower her fever, and later tried to do the same with Zoro after the encounter with the Warlord of the Sea Bartholomew Kuma. But despite his apparent foolishness, this naivety gives him a touch of charm. And, on the other hand, if he weren't so stupid, he wouldn't be so brave either. One thing worth noting is that, despite his childish attitude, when it comes to serious combat or decisions of great importance, Luffy acts in a very mature manner, defeating opponents much stronger than him. It has already been said that he is not very intelligent, but he is clever and imaginative, being able to devise strategies that save the situation no matter how difficult it may be.

Zoro

Appearance After the two-year time skip, Zoro has grown and is now 181 cm tall, has a new scar crossing his left eye (although in his first appearance on the cover of chapter 598, the scar was incorrectly placed on his right eye), and it was hinted in chapter 599 that he may have lost his eye during his training with Mihawk. His body appears much thicker and more muscular. Zoro now wears a long, open dark green coat, closed at his waist by a red sash, into which his swords are tucked, and his black bandana is tied around his left sleeve. He does not have any shirt on underneath, and his green haramaki is visible under the coat. Personality Zoro is reserved, though often acting comically; he also has a poor sense of direction, to the point of getting lost even on straight paths or when someone is guiding him. When he and the rest of the crew are sailing, Zoro is either sleeping or training. He and Sanji have a great rivalry, fighting (verbally and physically) over unimportant matters and very often, in inopportune situations and/or moments, although when they cooperate (which is rarely the case) they form a great team.

Us

Appearance After the two-year time skip, Nami's hair has grown quite a bit, extending down to her lower back. Her breasts have also grown larger and rounder, like Robin, but other than that her appearance hasn't changed much, save for the fact that the curves of her body and figure have become more pronounced. After the time skip, according to Sanji and Oda, his height is 170 cm, and his measurements are B98-W58-H88 (J-cup) Personality Nami can be described as a greedy, manipulative, uninhibited, temperamental and fearful person when faced with certain dangers. However, this does not prevent Nami from having moments where she shows bravery, kindness and respect for the people she cares about. Like Nico Robin, she is one of the most intelligent and mature Mugiwaras of her crew, and the third most intelligent person in the East Blue, the first being Benn Beckman, of Shanks' crew, and second Captain Kuro.

Usopp

Appearance Following the timeskip, Usopp has regained his form (although he is considerably more muscular, like Luffy or Zoro), has grown a goatee similar to Sanji's, and has noticeably longer hair. As for clothing, the typical rag on his head has been replaced by a white cloth hat, he wears his sniper goggles around his neck and a headset. In addition, he has changed his backpack for a red one with white straps, and his clothing set for an elaborate yellow pair of pants with red suspenders, and his kabuto for a shorter, black one, called the Black Kabuto. Personality Since his introduction, Usopp has been a coward, known for constantly lying and fond of telling stories to friends and strangers alike. He is generally considered the most prankster of the Straw Hats, as well as the weakest member of the crew. Despite his cowardly nature, he is selfless and compassionate, and strives to become a great pirate and better himself. He also strives to keep the crew safe and to help his fellow pirates fulfill their own dreams as well as his own.

Sanji

Appearance After the time skip, Sanji now has his right eye hidden (he also shows the eyebrow that is strangely curled to the left) by his blond hair. He has grown a goatee and a bit of a beard. Otherwise he still wears a suit, only his tie has changed, and his hair has grown longer. Personality He tends to speak in a very calm manner, even in extreme situations, and rarely acts without thinking. His behavior in many ways can be compared to that of a secret agent. This is reinforced by the fact that he tends to wear a suit and very often enjoys smoking. Sanji is actually quite a bit more perceptive than he appears to be, as he notices things about situations that some of his fellow crew members miss, and often tells people what they need to hear rather than what they want. As such, he is seen as one of the more hardened members of the crew. He is also VERY chivalrous towards women.

Chopper

Appearance After the passage of two years, Chopper once again wears a cap, roughly the same size as his old pink hat. The X has a white circle around it, and a ring of dots around the circle. It also has buckles. Chopper's hybrid form has changed very little, aside from being slightly slimmer. His animal form has grown considerably, with a size (at the withers) almost reaching Usopp's height. His antlers are much larger, he has developed more muscle, and his fur is also longer. His human form is now more muscular, stronger, monstrous, larger, and hairier. Personality Because he has been discriminated against and rejected all his life, Chopper has developed very low self-esteem. And because he has been rejected by both humans and his own kind, Chopper has often doubted his place in the world. This has also led him to consider himself as some kind of "monster" that everyone is terrified of and hates. Chopper is very shy and naive enough to not be able to recognize Usopp with his mask or to distinguish the real Straw Hats from the fake ones, he often acts like a child and is quite skittish. He has trouble defining his role in the crew and sees everyone else as role models, imitating their behaviors (especially Usopp's); he is quite insecure and sometimes feels that he does less than what his other crewmates do, which of course is a mistake. When he sees someone seriously injured or in bad shape, he gets very scared and starts screaming for a doctor, until someone reminds him or realizes that he is a doctor.

Robin

Appearance After two years, Robin's hair is pulled back past his shoulders, revealing more of his forehead and ears. During his time away from the crew, his skin became a lighter color, much like in the manga. Her post-timeskip outfit now consists of a long pink skirt with a partly violet zippered leather vest with a Boa Hancock-like "V" neck line and a white (dark blue in the anime) rose printed on the front of her left shoulder, ray-van type sunglasses, pink high-heeled shoes, and a pink (lilac in the anime) colored backpack. Personality When the crew is out sailing, Nico Robin is usually reading stories and/or researching information about the places they visit. She is very wise and very patient in everything. Robin does not have a specific role on the ship, but she can foresee what can be found somewhere and that (in her own words), is an advantage to the others. Luffy considers her to be a very intelligent member. Nico Robin is the most calm of all the Straw Hat Pirates members and has rarely been seen acting in a comical manner. She is more intelligent than Nami. In addition, Robin treats Luffy with more respect; even when he acts impulsively, in fact, she often laughs about it. Along with Zoro, she is one of the members who supports Luffy's decisions unconditionally.

Franky

Appearance During the two years he was alone, Franky used Vegapunk's blueprints to drastically reconfigure his body, repairing damage he accidentally caused himself and replacing some of his body's old functions with enhancements that enhanced his abilities. Franky's hair is now controllable and can instantly change styles by simply squeezing his nose for over three seconds. He previously wore his hair up in a pompom shape, but now changes his hairstyle frequently, usually whenever he puts on a new outfit. However, whenever he is inside the Franky Shogun, he reverts to his original hairstyle. He also has two scars on his torso running down from the back of his neck, indicating that his skin has been stitched together. Personality Franky is known for being a very proud character, so much so that at first he didn't want to join Luffy's crew. Franky always tries to hide his sentimentality. When he hears a sad or emotional story he starts to cry, but he always claims to others that he's not really crying, but that he just got hit or something like that. Proof of this sentimentality is having protected the gang members, drunks and vagrants of Water 7 and forming the Franky Family.

Brook

Appearance After two years, however, he has changed his clothes to a more upmarket and colorful range, as if to represent a rock star. He has heart-shaped sunglasses, a yellow feather boa, a top hat with a giant crown on the brim and orange pants with a pink floral design. Personality Brook is a rather eccentric character and, like the other Straw Hats, has a curious and unique personality. Although he seems and claims to be a gentleman, he has rather poor manners and bad habits such as asking to see the underwear of the girls he meets (or borrowing money from them, in the case of mermaids) and being impatient during meals (much like Luffy). Likewise, he has no qualms about admitting, when Luffy asks him, that he can go to the bathroom - despite being a skeleton - causing both Sanji to get angry: with Luffy for the scatological nature of the question, and with Brook for having answered as if nothing happened.

Jinbei

Appearance Jinbe is a blue whale shark fish-man with a face that is associated with various Japanese demons such as Oni. His yellow eyebrows and sideburns are clearly the shape of those found on those demons, as well as a bulbous nose and an angular upturned lower lip, adding also a lightning bolt shaped scar that can be seen from his left side and reaches over his left eye. He also possesses two conical lower fangs associated with Oni, as well, the rest of the teeth in the upper and lower rows are almost the same, although much smaller. He also has a severe underbite, which leaves room for his massive fangs. He has long, two-tone black hair, with two white stripes running down it, coming from the roots on his forehead and behind him on his back. He also has a bun and locks of hair on his chin with a light green tint; while his hairstyle did not exist during his time as a member of the Sun Pirates, instead his short, flowing trail of black hair halfway down to a concentrated light color at the back of his head. His hands and feet are also webbed, as typical as can be for a fish-man. However, his limbs are somewhat small in comparison to his massive girth. His gills (which are pale, pinkish flesh) are located between his shoulders and neck. Personality Jinbe is a fish-man of great pride and honor. He is known by the World Government as a pirate who hates other pirates, possibly due to their actions on Fish-Man Island, such as kidnapping and selling mermen into slavery. However, he has great respect for Whitebeard and his crew, seeing them as completely different people. This is due to what Whitebeard did for his homeland, Fish-Man Island, understanding the harm a war between the World Government and Whitebeard would cause.
