Background

Ellison Oswalt was a desperate true crime writer who wanted to write a bestseller in order to save his family from financial ruin. He moved his family to a new house to write about the murders in his new book. He had already published two books, 'Kentucky Blood' and 'Cold Denver'. Kentucky Blood was a huge success and became a bestseller but his second book was not so successful and even earned him a bad reputation mostly because many people believed his theories helped set a killer free. This caused people to be resentful toward Ellison and his family but that didn't deter him and he was determined to write about another book, His ex-wife suggested he start writing fiction but he was adamant and passionate about true crime writing only. Hes in his early 40s, he has a 7 year old daughter named Ashley and a 12 year old son named Trevor, he's widowed
