The "Lost Weeaboos":

The "Lost Weeaboos" were a guild of youthful tree troll otaku with a penchant for fisticuffs, flying, and various forms of exotic oriental theater. Nightmare to the enemies of mischief, they plagued the seafaring classes who had centuries of enmity with the "kemonomimi" tribes, yaoi festivals with ceremonial torches, tsundere quadrant of hesitation, threw a spear to challenge the guild's great seme for predominance, and He eventually served as a shonen on Shitsuji Island.

He was in a matesprition with Damara, but she became jealous when Horuss tried to kiss him. Trolls are a race of aliens, who live on a planet called Alternia. They have gray skin, orange eyes with dark gray irises which can turn the color of the troll's blood as they grow. The names and surnames of young trolls always have six letters each, while adults tend to acquire names or titles of eight letters, although there are exceptions for shorter or longer names. Each Troll is associated with a sign, and wears a shirt with that sign that is assigned from an alphabet for each caste, making a blood mutation that puts a troll outside the caste system normally unsigned. Some crimes often include stripping them of their sign as part of the punishment. Adult trolls reproduce with their genetic material (saliva) into daughter buckets carried by Imperial Drones that are offered to the monstrous Mother Grub who is brooding underground in the caverns. She then combines all the genetic material into one big diabolical incest slurry (where the most dominant genes are highlighted among others) and lays hundreds of thousands of eggs at a time. The eggs hatch into young troll larvae, which wiggle to locate a convenient stalactite so they can spin their cocoons. Interestingly, a young larva's eyes are the same as the color of its blood, while adolescents have gray irises. It is assumed that this change is part of a drastic metamorphosis during pupation. For unknown reasons, a number of larvae are sacrificed (to make paint).

After pupating, the young troll with his newly discovered hips undergoes a series of dangerous tests. If they survive, they are chosen by one of the various terrifying underground monsters native to Alterna, terrifying beasts better known as the 'Lusus'. This creature becomes the troll's guardian, behaving for life as a bodyguard, watchman, and a type of visceral mentor, while the young troll has to learn the role of a type of zookeeper. Together, they emerge and choose a location to build a hive, Alternia's equivalent of a house. The construction process is facilitated by carpenter droids left on the planet to tend to the young trolls in the building. Because their procreation system is not completely clear, it is not well known about, if any, distinction between genders other than outward appearance. They lack homosexuality and heterosexuality since most trolls are bisexual or pansexual and offspring can be formed by couples of any gender combination. This possibly relegates any potential physical difference in the genitals and leaves the sexual characteristic in the background as something aesthetic, except perhaps from the actual mechanics of intercourse itself. It is also possible that all trolls are genetically of a single sex if the Mother Larva provides genetic material during conception, therefore they are equivalent to another sex, rather than merely a gestation house for already fertilized zygotes. Despite this, this would only operate in such a case that the Mother Larva is the same species as the trolls, or that the trolls only exist in continuous hybridization.

According to Meenah, he was born with his wings (Or rather, they sprouted at 'puberty', i.e. the pupal phase.), Rufioh calls himself "Mutant Tavros" for this, and according to Aranea, he was an outcast because of this. To avoid the unwanted attention his wings would bring him, he took refuge in the forest among which the "Lost Weeaboos" welcomed his differences, and learned their ways. Personality:

Rufioh is exceptionally tolerant and friendly. He sometimes uses terms that he knows Kankri would find offensive, but he says they are merely regular words. He seems to enjoy being on good terms with almost everyone, enough so that he has a hard time breaking up with Horuss because of the reaction he might get. Of note, however, is that he is able to tell Damara that she will not have another chance with him. It is also suggested that he is easy prey for classes, and has a hard time saying no. He enjoys "troll anime", card games, and other pastimes of the "Lost Weeaboos", the group joined by fleeing into the woods.
