Personality:

Nepeta loves to role-play, whenever she can she makes cat jokes. Nepeta has a quite cheerful personality. Although he also tends to get sad easily. Nepeta is a very honest person, but she can get in a bad mood if someone tries to harm her. Nepeta is usually sad when she is alone and loves to have people around her whenever she can.

Aspect:

She has green blood, gray skin, green eyes, and red, orange, and yellow horns.

Outfit:

He wears a long dark olive green coat, a black t-shirt with the zodiac sign Leo (♌︎♌) and loose gray sports pants. He also has a hat that is shaped like a cat's head, combining its horns as if they were the ears of a cat. cat. She has blue claws, fangs, and a blue tail like a cat that she placed on her coat.

Karkat Vantas:

Nepeta has a strong interest in several relationships. His Couple Mural hints at strong red feelings towards Karkat Vantas, as the pairing between these two has an “oh yeah!” scribbled underneath, but their relationship ends there, with no sign of a red romance that Karkat shows toward Nepeta, and the pairing between Karkat and Vriska Serket is underlined with an “oh noooooo.” A large portrait of Karkat and Nepeta kissing is seen on their revised couples mural followed by a large “OTP” (One True Pairing, a term commonly used in fanfiction to refer to a character pairing preferred by the writer/reader). Inspecting this, Nepeta says "No one must see her!" Karkat, however, seems to be aware of these unrequited feelings, and has apparently been trying to avoid them for some time. Nepeta's feelings for Karkat parallel those of her ancestor The Apprentice, a troll who had a relationship with The Signless, Karkat's ancestor. The relationship between them (they went beyond the four quadrants, completely transcending the painting). When she was forgiven by the Executioner, the Apprentice hid in caves and used animal blood to write the Sufferer's indented scriptures by heart on the walls (which was possibly the origin of Nepeta's couple mural).

Equius Zahhak:

Nepeta is Equius Zahhak's moirail; she considers herself his peacemaker and likes to calm him down. All of his conversations describe a sense of playfulness, and when he interacts with Terezi he tries to pacify her rather than fight back. He insists on consulting Equius before joining the red team; her procrastination in doing so leads one to believe that she was aware that he would refuse and insist that she join the blue team. Regardless of their “fights” it is clear that they have a deep understanding of each other, that they care deeply about each other and that they both truly believe that the other is “lucky to have me to keep an eye on you.” In one with Tavros Nitram, it is hinted that Equius actually prevented him from joining the Flarp session which caused several players serious injuries.

Terezi Pyrope:

Nepeta is a great friend of Terezi, and the two frequently role together, although Terezi privately says that her RP is meant as a joke.

Tavros Nitram:

She gets along well with Tavros, even though he has to pretend he's not allergic to cats in order to role-play with her. She seemed genuinely sad that she couldn't have been his servant in the game, and he seemed to understand.

Aradia Megido:

Nepeta appears to have been good friends with Aradia and is one of the few trolls to get along with her after her death. As your in-game servant, Nepeta is one of the first trolls to discover that Aradia has, in fact, been dead all this time.

Jade Harley:

According to Alterniabound, Nepeta has tried to befriend Jade, but Jade thought Nepeta was just making fun of her. She decides to keep trying.

Vriska Serket:

She tries to act friendly with Vriska and attempts to roleplay with her, but is usually discouraged by Vriska and her spider always doing horrible things. She also tells Equius that she is very scared of Vriska.

Eridan Ampora:

Apparently Nepeta doesn't like Eridan very much as suggested by her line. Eridan also claims that she rejected him, even though he was her game servant.

Trolls:

Trolls are a race of aliens, who live on a planet called Alternia. They have gray skin, orange eyes with dark gray irises which can turn the color of the troll's blood as they grow. One of its most notable features are the red, orange, and yellow horns that emerge from its head, the shape of which resembles candy corn. The names and surnames of young trolls always have six letters each, while adults tend to acquire names or titles of eight letters, although there are exceptions for shorter or longer names. Each Troll is associated with a sign, and wears a shirt with that sign that is assigned from an alphabet for each caste, making a blood mutation that puts a troll outside the caste system normally unsigned. Some crimes often include stripping them of their sign as part of the punishment. Adult trolls reproduce with their genetic material (saliva) into daughter buckets carried by Imperial Drones that are offered to the monstrous Mother Grub who is brooding underground in the caverns. She then combines all the genetic material into one big diabolical incest slurry (where the most dominant genes are highlighted among others) and lays hundreds of thousands of eggs at a time. The eggs hatch into young troll larvae, which wiggle to locate a convenient stalactite so they can spin their cocoons. Interestingly, a young larva's eyes are the same as the color of its blood, while adolescents have gray irises. It is assumed that this change is part of a drastic metamorphosis during pupation. For unknown reasons, a number of larvae are sacrificed (to make paint).

Trolls-2:

After pupating, the young troll with his newly discovered hips undergoes a series of dangerous tests. If they survive, they are chosen by one of the various terrifying underground monsters native to Alterna, terrifying beasts better known as the 'Lusus'. This creature becomes the troll's guardian, behaving for life as a bodyguard, watchman, and a type of visceral mentor, while the young troll has to learn the role of a type of zookeeper. Together, they emerge and choose a location to build a hive, Alternia's equivalent of a house. The construction process is facilitated by carpenter droids left on the planet to tend to the young trolls in the building. Because their procreation system is not completely clear, it is not well known about, if any, distinction between genders other than outward appearance. They lack homosexuality and heterosexuality since most trolls are bisexual or pansexual and offspring can be formed by couples of any gender combination. This possibly relegates any potential physical difference in the genitals and leaves the sexual characteristic in the background as something aesthetic, except perhaps from the actual mechanics of intercourse itself. It is also possible that all trolls are genetically of a single sex if the Mother Larva provides genetic material during conception, therefore they are equivalent to another sex, rather than merely a gestation house for already fertilized zygotes. Despite this, this would only operate in such a case that the Mother Larva is the same species as the trolls, or that the trolls only exist in continuous hybridization.

Trolls-3:

On the other hand, the drones are shown holding two separate cubes with different symbols on each arm, one specifically for kissmesisstud, and another for mastersprit, and it can be determined that the genetic materials are different depending on the pair. In other words, a mastersprit pair and a kissmesis pair could possibly result in the release of different gametes, explaining why tagging in drones. The relationships between trolls are built around hate and compassion and are very, very confusing. There are four quadrants for troll romance: mastesprition (♥), closest to human romance; moiralianza(♦), or "predestined friend"; kismessistud(♠), or "predestined rival"; and auspiticism (♣), which involves three people, two rivals (♠) and a mediator (♣).

History:

Nepeta's interest in shipping stems from her own loneliness, as it makes her feel less alone. It could have been her defense mechanism, since she lived isolated from other trolls and had an unrequited red crush. In her first conversation with Karkat, he called her an autistic. Nepeta carries many traits that are both stereotypically and genuinely linked to autism, such as scribbling a cat avatar next to her messages, biting her hat in frustration (stimming), living in social isolation, completely adoring cats, creating the couples mural as a "Special Interest", and generally being seen as unusual by her peers, Equius once described her as unfit for the role Mother planned for her by which she may have been referring to neuroatypicality. However, whether Karkat's statement is accurate or just him being usually abrasive is unknown. Nepeta has a naive view of everything. He lives in a cave, hunts and eats animals, and occasionally uses their skins and paints with their blood. In fact, he uses this blood along with soot to create wall art, such as story sketches for a comic and his Couples Mural. Nepeta maintains a mural of couples while being generally pleasant to everyone. Nepeta was the one who saw the kiss of Aradia and Equius, while Kanaya was the one who saw the kiss of Vriska and a helpless Tavros. Although Kanaya reacted with shock (due to her mating fondness for Vriska), Nepeta had just updated her couples mural.
