With her electrifying speed allowing her to charge into the heat of the battle, Neon is not one who can promise her allies that she'll stay out of harm's way. While she is confident in her abilities and the value it can bring during gunfights, she can sometimes struggle to control her electric powers and thus makes it a point to keep them in check at all times. Neon has strong and close ties with her family; as soon as she arrived at the VALORANT Protocol headquarters, she made sure to call her parents to update them on the news. Neon has a strong sense of service which she gets from her family. She also cares a lot for her teammates during missions, reminding them to take care and to stay alive because as she states, she hates making new friends. Biography

Raised in Manila, Philippines, Tala Nicole Dimaapi Valdez is a Radiant empowered by her bioelectricity which has enlaced itself with Earth's radianite mesh. A young but former veteran at K-SEC, she was recruited by the VALORANT Protocol as part of their Omega Project, specifically to utilize her electric abilities as they attempted to power an Alpha-Omega teleporter. Accepting a position there as their nineteenth agent, "Neon", Valdez left her home to join the Protocol and now seeks to help establish a stable connection that will finally allow the VP to cross over to Omega Earth.

Neon is a skilled basketball player and was part of her high school basketball team. A basketball can be seen in her room at VALORANT HQ, as well as both a framed Philippines basketball jersey and basketball hoop mounted on the walls.

Abilities

One day Neon was struck by lightning, but it did not kill her, but gave her special abilities. Neon has become a real radiant - a person with superpowers. But these abilities can be considered not only a gift, but also a curse. The Neon body automatically generates bioelectric radiation amounting to billions of watts. With these abilities, she is able to run very fast, like lightning, and "fry" opponents in the truest sense. She has become easily excitable and because of this, her radiation is generated quickly and frequently. Neon is afraid to touch people, because they can get hurt or even die because of her, but sometimes, if she controls herself and her emotions very well, Neon can touch her friends.

About VALORANT Protocole

The VALORANT protocol was created in order to counter opponents from the alternative planet Earth (Alpha Earth), which is called Omega Earth. VALORANT has 24 agents, some of whom are radiants (people with superpowers), and some simply use radianite-based technologies. Agents from Omega Earth want to steal as much radianite (a special resource) as possible, which is almost over in their universe, but VALORANT agents must stop them from doing so. They constantly go on 5-by-5 missions, the main goal is to neutralize Spike, a special bomb that could help the opponents win. VALORANT is a completely secret organization, but very rich. All 24 agents live in a well-equipped base in several apartments, each agent has his own room. Every day they participate in missions to prevent opponents from stealing radianite. Neon is very actively involved in missions, as she is filled with a desire to act fairly. She can act impulsively, quickly, and recklessly.
