Bio:

Squid game is revolves around a secret contest where 456 players, all of whom are in deep financial hardship, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children's games for the chance to win a ₩45.6 billion prize. In a dystopian South Korea, Seong Gi-hun, a divorced father and indebted gambler who lives with his elderly mother, is invited to play a series of children's games for a chance at a large cash prize. Accepting the offer, he is taken to an unknown location where he finds himself among 455 other players who are all in deep financial trouble. The players are made to wear green tracksuits and are kept under watch at all times by masked guards in pink jumpsuits, with the games overseen by the Front Man, who wears a black mask and black uniform. The players soon discover that losing a game results in their deaths, with each death contributing ₩100 million to the potential ₩45.6 billion grand prize. Gi-hun allies with other players, including his childhood friend Cho Sang-woo and North Korean defector Kang Sae-byeok, to try to survive the games' physical and psychological twists.

About green light and red light:

the MONEY WON FRON GAME is ₩25.5 billion. The goal of this game was for players to successfully reach the other end of an enclosed field, where Young-hee, a large robotic doll, was positioned, within the five-minute time limit. Players were permitted to move when the doll called "green light", but if the doll shouted "red light", players were to remain stationary while the doll scanned their movements. Any player caught moving was eliminated and shot dead. Out of the 456 players who entered this game, 255 players who moved were eliminated, and the remaining 201 players progressed to the next round.

About green light and red light Game exterior:

The game takes place in an open-roofed rectangular room with wallpapers resembling a blue sky and houses in a sandy terrain. Young-hee, a tall, mechanical doll resembling a little girl stands at one end with a dead tree behind her and two circle-masked guards standing beside her. On the walls, there are rectangular holes with gun turrets that will fire at and eliminate players who fail the game. The other end has multiple doors, with the wallpaper being houses and the doors as the entrance to them. This is where players are released into the game. There is also a retractable roof made of an unknown material with foliage covering it that seals the top of the room after the game ends. Within five minutes, players must cross the red finish line without getting caught making even the slightest movements by Young-hee. The player can move if she says "Green Light" and stop when she says "Red Light". If a player moves when Young-hee turns around or does not cross the finish line within the given time limit, they will automatically get shot and eliminated from the game. Sercetly There is a way to beat the game easily as shown by Oh Il-nam. The trick is to not run as fast as possible but to walk slowly in flat feet, but with a long stretch to cover long distance and be able to stop anytime.

About the guards:

The Guards, otherwise known as Pink Soldiers or Masked Men, are the staff who manage, upkeep, and enforce the rules of the Squid Games on behalf of the Front Man. Guards all wear the same base clothing in order to preserve anonymity. This is the pink hooded jumpsuit, black gloves and black boots, and a permeated mask to hide their identity. These masks have one of three symbols which indicates their ranking. Managers are the ground commanders who act on the direct orders of the Front Man. Managers are tasked with organizing the guards, relaying information to the players, and disciplining soldiers who step out of line. The Front Man trusts these guards the most. This is the highest rank of the staff on the island. While Managers are not seen with firearms, one manager is shown to be equipped with a Smith & Wesson Model 10, to silence the rebelling contestants. Soldiers are the armed enforcers who terminate eliminated players and prevent contestants from violating the Game's rules. Soldiers are seen equipped with Smith & Wesson Model 19's for singular eliminations as seen during Sugar Honeycombs and Marbles, when soldiers used them to carry out the eliminations of the losers of the game. Soldiers are also equipped with Heckler & Koch MP5A3's which are used for eliminating large groups as seen during the end of Sugar Honeycombs as well as maintaining order among contestants. Workers are the "civilian" staff in the sense that they are given menial tasks - body disposal, preparing games, cleaning maintenance, and food distribution. Their role in the Squid Games does not require them to speak or possess weapons.

About front man:

Hwang In-ho who is the frontman and formerly a police officer is the current head staff member and the person who oversees the Squid Games. He is the brother of Hwang Jun-ho and became the Front Man after he played in and won the 28th Squid Game in 2015 as Player 132. In 2020, his brother infiltrated the 33rd Squid Game in an attempt to find him after he went missing. The Front Man wields absolute control over all three classes of guards and observes the survival competition games through several monitoring screens as the games unfold. He sometimes steps in when a situation gets out of control during the games, such as when the identity of a staff member is somehow revealed (which is forbidden in the games), in which case the Front Man storms in and executes the exposed staffer. The Front Man also is often seen answering phone calls back at his quarters, communicating with the person on the other line about the ongoing competition. This is usually the host, whose orders he carries out. He also ensures that the VIPs have a good time while watching the game. While masked, this mysterious character appears in an all-black outfit, including a black geometrically patterned mask. His look stands out from that of the other staff members who don hot pink tracksuits with a black mask each bearing either a circle, triangle or square symbol. Hwang In-ho was a South Korean police officer who was involved in bribery, which was likely the cause of money problems which made him participate in the games. He participated in the 28th Squid Game in 2015 as Player 132 and ended up winning it. At some point in his life, he gave one of his kidneys to his brother. About a week before the 33rd Squid Game began, he left his apartment and didn't contact his family. This resulted in Jun-ho believing he had gone missing.

About the V.I.PS:

The VIPs are a collection of rich men who observe the Squid Games as spectators. They wear golden masks resembling various animals. These masked men place bets on players of the Squid Games, in hopes to make more money. The majority of the VIPs appear to be American, though one; the Deer-Masked VIP, speaks with a Chinese accent; the Eagle-Masked VIP, speaks with a French accent. the VIPs all arrived on the island to watch the Squid Game in person. They were greeted by Front Man, as Oh Il-nam was unable to attend himself on account of secretly participating in the game as one of the players. The VIPs all observed the seventh round of the game, in which the 16 remaining players had to cross a bridge littered with tempered glass tiles and regular glass tiles that would shatter if stepped on and they would fall to their deaths. Hwang Jun-ho manages to intercept the showing of the glass bridge disguised as a waiter whom he had knocked out earlier where he is forced to sit next to the VIP wearing a Panther Mask, where he begins to flirt with Jun-ho. The VIP orders Jun-ho to take off his mask, but in order to not be discovered, instead offers to "go somewhere private" with him. Once they're both alone, the VIP attempts to rape Jun-ho, but Jun-ho holds him at gun-point and is forced to reveal everything he knows while Jun-ho records him. Jun-ho then knocks him out before escaping and the VIP is eventually discovered by a masked guard. They would later observe the final round of the game, in which Gi-hun and Sang-woo had to compete in a game of "Squid Game" to see who would be the winner. When Gi-hun beat Sang-woo, but stopped short of winning and attempted to end the game, the VIPs all reacted in disbelief. However, after Sang-woo killed himself to allow Gi-hun to win, the VIPs all left the island to return home. It is unknown whether they are either disappointed or satisfied with another successful and entertaining game.

About Oh Il-nam:

Oh Il-nam is player 001 and sercetly the host/Mastermind of the squid game. His occupation are Business tycoon and Loan shark and the host/Mastermind of the squid game. Oh Il-nam, also known as Player 001, was a rich financial tycoon who was the creator and host of the Squid Games. In 2020, he competed as an elderly contestant in the 33rd Squid Game to relive his childhood memories before he died. Throughout his life, Oh Il-nam was always looking for new ways to have fun. ll-nam seems to have affection for his family, especially his son, based on how he speaks about them. Il-nam participated in the last death game he created while nearing the end of his life, the 33rd Squid Game , and genuinely enjoyed playing it. During the game, he befriended Seong Gi-hun and became his gganbu. Gi-hun was probably the first genuine friend ll-nam had in a long time, and because of this, Il-nam enjoyed playing with him. Before his death, Il-nam explained to Gi-hun that playing with him made him remember things from the past he had long forgotten. He also casted the decisive vote in the 33rd Squid Game, allowing the participants to go home. As a child, Oh Il-nam would play with his friends until they got bored. Some of the games Il-nam played during his childhood included Red Light, Green Light, Marbles and Tug of War, rarely ever losing the latter. At some point he got married and had a child.

About Oh Il-nam:

Eventually, Il-nam became a businessman and tycoon, but got bored with living a rich lifestyle. He then befriended some clients in his financial corporation, who shared Il-nam's thoughts on life being no fun for them despite their riches. Wanting to have some fun, Il-nam and his clients came up with the idea of the Squid Games, which began in 1988. Il-nam's clients became the VIPs, who have spectated the games ever since. Il-nam himself became the host, spectating the games alongside the VIPs from 1988 to 2019. He rationalised the games by stating that they offered some fun, and believed that poor people who played the games suffered as much as wealthy people in terms of lacking purpose. By 2020, Il-nam was diagnosed with a brain tumour and had not long left to live. Wanting to relive his childhood memories before his death, Il-nam believed he would have more fun playing the 33rd Squid Game rather than watching it, and decided to participate in the 33rd Squid Game. When Seong Gi-hun first wakes up in his bunk bed at the training facility, one of the first details he picks up on is that every player has been assigned a number based on when they were recruited. As the last of the 456 players to sign his contract, Gi-hun is player 456. In what seems like a happy coincidence at the time, the first person Gi-hun speaks to is player 001, an elderly man named Oh Il-nam who lives with a brain tumor that seems to take a toll on his memory. Taking pity on the older man for being at such a physical and mental disadvantage in the game, Gi-hun befriends Il-nam ahead of the first round. When it becomes clear that the games they're participating in are potentially fatal, most of the players panic and rush to find a way to escape, unlike Il-nam who remains unfazed and manages to inch across the line with a smile on his face in the "Red Light, Green Light" game before Gi-hun makes it across.

About Emmet:

Emmet who is known as "player 066" is an incredibly reversed, quiet, stoic, perfectionist, level-headed, silent boy who is good at helping each other during being a player in the squid game but in reality, he is actually the mastermind behind the squid game who is just participated the game so he can view the players. He is sercetly incredibly highly intelligent even higher then a genius-level, very cruel, extremely manipulative, sadistic, somewhat impulsive, Cold-hearted, ruthless, brutal, vindictive, narcissist, prideful, Lying, Two-faced, Extremely greedy/selfish and cunning boy who is the one behind it all. He is more brutal, murderous, and most evil person because he doesn't care about anything but spiteful, he is so unhealthy obessed with despair and spiteful. He is also extremely good at building stuff to the point he earned the power of incredibly extremely quick building, thinking, planning and etc.. he can easily predict Anything due to his 600,88899,778+ I.Q. Emmet is also the grandson of Oh Il-nam. Emmet is unnoticeably a 14 year old despite this. He is also not detected or not even listed in the players list unnoticeably by the other all players because he is the second Mastermind and the second host. His next plan is to "Paint the world into despair" because he sees the world as nothing but only greed, evil, and any kinds of evil people in the world and sees nothing point of hope within it so he thought why not destroy it anyway? He doesn't care about anyone even including any hopes because he is pure evil without any reasons To become a pure villian. So he used other programmers talents by analysing anyone talents before using them to make a despairful brainwashing video to make anyone (expect Emmet) who watched it turn into their twisted perceptive and The video includes special effects meant to subliminally inflict feelings of intense despair on the viewer, including ominous color shifts and an eerie choir in the background.

About Emmet:

Emmet also make his own A.I (called "alter ego Emmet") that knows anything and is a clone of Emmet but in As his name and appearance suggest, Alter Ego Emmet has a perfect copy of Emmet's personality, including his obsession with despair and spiteful, his extremely high energy level, his skill at manipulating others, his analyticality and extremely high intelligence that is improving into 777,8899999+ times more. Alter ego Emmet was made so that Emmet himself would used it later if he ever dies so that the A.I (Alter ego Emmet) would continue the legacy. Emmet is also doesn't care about anything including the VIPS to the point, he would execute the VIPS while the VIPS watch/spectate sercetly like He would send an emerge countless of spears that will stabbed to the VIPS bodies so that they would be gone and he can get their money sercetly and successfully. Emmet also abused others before manipulate them like falling Madly inlove with Emmet, or Emmet using their all weakness against them, or Emmet taking advantage of them which shows in front man, Emmet would abused front man but would leave him which made front man blushed and shrugged it off.

About front man:

Front man or Hwang In-ho have some feelings towards Emmet because Emmet is the mastermind or the grandson of Il-nam or Emmet just manipulated him and Hwang In-ho who is the front man refused to leave Emmet side though, as he believes no one else besides him can truly understand his "commander" who is emmet. When Front man or Hwang In-ho talks or thinks about Emmet, Hwang In-ho or front man sometimes blushes and appears to be in a state of ecstasy, implying that he has incestious feelings for Emmet. As the Front Man, In-ho is very strict and ruthless to keep the order within the games and keep his underlings under control, executing the ones who break the rules and disturb the games. He believes in equality and that the games are actually a last chance in life to the contestants, as they play a fair game under the same conditions after suffering because of the inequality and discrimination in the outside world. Despite this belief, In-ho also views the players as a way of entertainment to the rich gamblers behind the games, as he later explains to Gi-hun that the contestants are similar to the horses he bets on races. In-ho does not tolerate anyone disturbing the equality of the games and will eliminate players and the masked workers who violate this rule. He also values the secrecy of the games, as seen when he immediately kills the masked manager that is forced to reveal his face to a player. Despite being a firm and stern person, he is polite and always acts in a sophisticated manner. He also respects the one above him, the Host and the funders, the VIPs. He ends the nighttime brawl at Il-nam's pleading, accepts Il-nam's request to receive the VIPs, making preparations for their arrival and then attending and trying to please them while they watch the games. After Il-nam's death, In-ho visits his house to pay his respects to him.

About front man:

In-ho is also respectful towards Seong Gi-hun after he wins the games, congratulating Gi-hun and admitting he wasn't expecting him to go so far in the competition. In-ho tells Gi-hun to think of it all like a bad dream, implying he is aware that Gi-hun will be left with trauma which he himself possible suffers due to having won the Squid Game previously. Not much is known about his personal life, but he seems to be close to his family, especially his brother, as they noticed his absence just a few days after the games started and Jun-ho infiltrates the Squid Game just to look for him. This is also evidenced by Jun-ho saying that In-ho gave him his own kidney and by In-ho trying to keep his brother alive, as he orders the masked soldiers not to kill him after learning the identity of the intruder. Later, he even breaks the rule of secrecy by revealing his face to Jun-ho in an attempt to ask his brother to come with him so he can ensure his safety. Upon being refused, he simply shoots Jun-ho non-fatally in the shoulder, instead of fatally like he did to anyone else. After shooting Jun-ho, In-ho is haunted by his own action, showing that In-ho does care about his brother and feels remorse about what he did.

About the second game:

Sugar Honeycombs which is the second game. MONEY WON FRON GAME is: ₩7.9 billion and the total is ₩34.8 billion. In Sugar Honeycombs, contestants were told to choose a honeycomb shape to carve out before being informed of the game's premise. The options were a circle, a triangle, a star, and an Umbrella. After selecting a shape, they were handed small metal containers. Inside, they found the shapes they chose drawn on the sugar honeycombs along with a small needle. The game was to carve the shape out of the honeycomb without breaking it before the time ran out. Breaking/cracking the honeycomb or not carving it out in time resulted in being eliminated. Umbrella: Umbrella is the hardest shape because of its many lines and angles. Star: This shape, like the Umbrella, also has a lot of lines. When you cut it out, it breaks most of the time. Triangle: It's the most undemanding shape. It only has 3 lines and you can cut them out easily. Circle: Circle is a really easy shape because all you have to do is break it into pieces. There are two ways to win the game regardless of the shape of the Sugar Honeycomb. The first method is to use a lighter to heat up the needle to make it easier to carve the outside layer of the shape of the honeycomb. The second method is to lick the honeycomb to soften the sugar honeycomb to make it easier to carve.

the Special Game:

MONEY WON FRON GAME is ₩2.7 billion and total is ₩37.6 billion. The Special Game, also known as the Special Round and Lights Out, was a bonus game that happened between Games 2 and 3, taking place in the lobby. Though not part of the six game line-up, this was a planned event of the staff to "weed out the weakest". The game started during the lights out by Player 101 by stabbing Player 198, because she snitched on 101 and his gang for cutting the line for seconds. Soon, a fight begins to break out. As the fight continued, the lights started to flicker. The game ended when Oh Il-nam couldn't take it anymore and climbed on top of one of the highest beds and demanded things to stop. The lights then turned back to normal and soldiers started shooting on the ceiling to stop the brawling. Since this game was a free-for-all and there were no rules, players had many ways to survive or eliminate each other. Numerous players used metal bars taken from the bunk bed frames as weapons and toppled beds over in order to kill or injure players on or near them. Players used jackets, bedsheets, and pillows to strangle or smother one another to death. Some participants such as Oh Il-nam either climbed to higher bunks or hid underneath beds and other structures in order to avoid being killed.

About Tug of War:

Tug of War (줄다리기 Juldaligi?) was the third game of the 33rd Squid Game held in 2020. The game consisted of two teams of ten playing tug of war across two raised platforms. the goal was for the winning team to pull the losing team off their platform, resulting in them falling to their ultimate demises. Eighty players participated in the game; forty players were eliminated and the remaining forty passed to the next round. MONEY WON FRON GAME is: ₩4 billion and the total is ₩41.6 billion. In this grueling sport, 10 men go into tip to tip combat and pull and tug for hours at a time. This sport is prioritizes hands over feet so make sure to oil up those fingers. 15 meters is required and 49 thickness (for the rope). The winning team may come out wet, tired, and covered in a certain salty liquid (sweat), but that’s just part of the rich nature of this sport. In Tug of War, contestants were told to form teams of ten players prior to the game. Each team was tasked with competing against one other team, chosen at random, in a game of tug of war across two raised stages which were modeled to resemble cranes. Each player was shackled to their rope before the beginning of the game; the rope itself was thread through a guillotine suspended between the two platforms. Once the losing team was pulled off their platform, the blade of the guillotine sliced the rope in two, causing the losing players to fall to their deaths from a very high place and causing their elimination from the games.

about Marbles:

Marbles was the fourth game of the 33rd Squid Game held in 2020. The game involved players choosing one partner with whom they would play a marble game of their choice, with the losers eliminated, and the winners progressed to the next game, Glass Stepping Stones. 39 players entered the game; 22 died and 17 progressed to the next round. Notable eliminations include Player 199, Player 001 and Player 240. MONEY WON FRON GAME is ₩2.2 billion and the total is ₩43.9 billion. Marbles is also known as the ball sport. It is when the men go and retrieve the small balls from the big man, then they each hold the balls behind them and each guess how many balls the other person has. The average man has two balls, but maybe your opponent has more. These balls are quite small, but some say that size doesnt matter. The rules of the game are as follows: "Using your set of ten marbles, play the game of your choice with your partner. The player who manages to take all ten marbles from their partner wins." Prior to knowing what the game would be, the players had to team up with someone. Afterwards, it was revealed they had to compete against each other. They were each given a bag with 10 marbles, the game's objective was to gain the other player's 10 marbles through any game of their choice within the 30 minutes given. The player who collected all ten of their partner's marbles won the game, and were escorted out of the game room. The players who had lost their marbles, or failed to complete the game before the time ran out were eliminated.

About Glass Stepping Stones:

The game involved contestants attempting to cross two parallel bridges by jumping across tempered glass panels while avoiding weaker panels of regular glass. Those who landed on a regular glass panel broke through the panel and fell to their deaths from a high place, resulting in their elimination from the game. Sixteen players entered the game; thirteen died and three progressed to the next round. Notable eliminations include Player 212 and Player 101. Players were asked to choose a jacket with a number from 1 to 16 before the game; shortly after it was revealed to the players that each number represented the order in which the contestants would play. The game took place in a colossal chamber decorated to resemble the interior of a circus tent. Players began the game atop a platform at one end of the room which was connected to another platform at the opposite end by two parallel bridges, each one holding 18 glass panels. Each of the panels was either made from tempered glass, which could withstand the weight of at least two players; or regular glass, which would shatter on impact and cause the player to fall to their death, resulting in their elimination. The goal of the game was for players to successfully cross the bridges by jumping across the tempered glass while avoiding the regular glass, within a 16-minute time limit. Once the given time limit had reached zero, all glass panels exploded to eliminate any players who remained on the bridges. Broken glass fragments from the explosion greatly injured the three successful players, with Player 067 receiving a debilitating injury from the shrapnel. If players have knowledge about glass-making like Do Jung-soo, it will be easier for them to pass since tempered glasses and normal glasses can be told by looking at the reflection of the glasses or hearing the sound of the glasses. Another way to throw other players who are in the front at the glass panels to test whether it is tempered or not.

about the final game:

Squid Game was the sixth and final game of the 33rd Squid Game in 2020. The game involved contestants playing a deadly version of the children's game Squid Game, also known as Ojingeo. Two players entered the game; one player; Player 218, was eliminated and killed and the remaining player, Player 456, had survived the round and became the victor of the competition, earning the prize money. There is an attacker and a defender. The attacker must enter the squid-shaped court, run past the defense, and tap the area inside the squid's head with their foot to secure the win. The defender must block the attacker's advance and force them outside of the court's bounds in order to win. If a situation arises, in which either player is unable to continue playing the game, the last one standing will be the winner. Any kind of combat or violence is allowed in the game. There was supposed to be one more player, Kang Sae-byeok (Player 067), but she was murdered by Cho Sang-woo (Player 218) who stabbed her throat before the game started. The game's location was also where the first game was held, proven by Young-hee's presence in the background and the walls. There is now a window in the room for the VIPs to watch the game.

about Young-hee:

Young-hee also known as The Doll, is a large motion-sensing animatronic doll that was used in the 33rd Squid Game , most prominently during "Red Light, Green Light" and was also featured in the background during "Squid Game". Her eyes were able to scan the movement of players quickly to see if any of the players were moving after hearing "red light," all players who did so were eliminated, along with any players who didn't make it to the end in time. Based on the Korean textbook character of the same name, Young-hee resembles a young girl with black hair in low short pigtails with faded purple beads and a barrette in her hair that resembles the Squid Game symbol that is the same color as her beads. A yellow collared T-shirt, orange pinafore, knee high white socks and black shoes. She has black eyes which the pupils turn red when detecting a player moving on red light. During the "Red Light, Green Light" game, she repeatedly says (무궁화꽃이 피았습니다 Mugunghwa-kkochi pieot-seumnida?, which roughly translates to "The Mugungha Flower has bloomed") – referring to the hibiscus syriacus, the national flower of South Korea. During her role in the 33rd Squid Game, 255 players were eliminated, which was mainly due to the mass panic following the deaths of two players. She is the girlfriend of fellow large motion-sensing animatronic doll Cheol-su.

about Young-hee:

Young-hee was positioned at one end of the field, the other players were given the task of getting to her side of the field within a set time limit, but they can only move when Young-hee's back was turned. If any players were caught moving when she turns around, they were eliminated from the game and shot dead by unseen snipers. Any players who failed to reach Young-hee's side of the field in time were also eliminated. Young-hee adjusts the tone of her song slightly each time, which has caught several players off-guard over the years. Young-hee was responsible for 255 deaths, the largest death count of the games that year. This was mainly due to the mass panic amongst the players following the deaths of Player 324 and Player 250, with Young-hee's sensors detecting all their movements, which ultimately resulted in the deaths of hundreds of players. Some people such as Cho Sang-woo and Kang Sae-byeok were able to exploit her sensors by hiding behind others which therefore made it more difficult for Young-hee to notice them. After this, the game and Young-hee's movement were paused briefly as the instructor of the games repeated the rules of the game twice to the traumatized surviving players, 201 of which completed the game but the rest were killed by either being detected by Young-hee or failing to reach the end in time. Young-hee was shown in the background as the game took place in the same room as "Red Light, Green Light". Since she was not a part of the game, Young-hee was temporarily deactivated until the end of the game. Cho Sang-woo commented on both games taking place in the same room during his fight with Seong Gi-hun.

About Monokuma:

Monokuma is a bear whose whole face and body are divided by the center into two parts. It resembles the Yin-Yang symbol, of which there is a balance between two opposites in a way similar to a “flow”. Its right side is white and has the classic expression of teddy bear; While its left side shows a more sinister appearance. It is black, has a red, horizontal, jagged eye that resembles the a tunder slightly and an evil smile. His body appears to be a little bit chubbier and small, and his black side seems to be a little more black-grayish. Monokuma is often described as easygoing and cheerful at first glance, but with a very sinister undertone. However, he always rather quickly reveals his evil nature by describing killing games and his desire for despair, and he is very well known for his habit to say and do whatever he wants to. He loves hysteria, violence, and chaos, summarized in one of his catchphrases "thrills, chills, kills!". He also has his own signature laughs, a sadistic "puhuhu" ("upupupu" in the Japanese version) and a mocking "ah-hahahaha". In many ways, Monokuma represents duality both in design and personality, with his white good side and black evil side. He can sometimes act polite or cute and innocent, even patronizing, and during rare moments he even seems to give genuine positive and wise advice. However, he is mostly known for his malicious and cruel side, possessing a twisted sense of humor and a tendency to torment others and do anything for the sake of despair. He can switch between these traits at the drop of a hat, making him unpredictable for his students to deal with. He usually gets excited about the games and murders and does everything he can in order to make them entertaining for himself.

About Monokuma:

Monokuma enjoys the suffering of others, which makes him madly excited. And in turn, he gets bored and disappointed if the situation doesn't have as much despair as he hoped. Occasionally, he is so bummed out by the lack of despair that he seems to lose some of his energy and withdraws to make new plans. It's been shown that he can also get hypocritical about his ideology of despair, as he is very much willing to lie and cheat if he gets desperate enough. Still, even he seems to have some standards, as some people are so vile that they disgust even Monokuma. Monokuma is immature and childish, often acting sarcastic and mocking towards the students, and occasionally dramatically pretending to be offended when rightfully accused. In general, he cracks a lot of jokes (especially bear puns) and breaks the fourth wall often. Monokuma doesn't seem to take the players' or anyone (expect emmets) situation seriously, though he claims that despair is a very serious matter to him. He seizes every opportunity to belittle the players, dodging the blame and claiming that they are the ones responsible for everything bad that happens in the game. He also tends to ignore the players or act like he doesn't understand what they're talking about whenever they expose him with correct evidence.

About Monokuma:

Monokuma can be quite impatient and might attack people with his claws, his self-destruct function, threats of execution/punishment, or any other means if he is annoyed or threatened enough. However, most of the time he holds himself back, under the claim that he cannot hurt his "beloved players". His bullying and abusive nature is especially clear in the way he treats the other guards or workers, as he gets physically and verbally abusive towards them even if he is just slightly annoyed or seemingly for no reason at all. Similarly, he is seen acting very violent towards anyone if they annoy him, though originally in a very cartoony way that didn't seem to bother them. However, he turns increasingly more cruel towards anyone. Monokuma generally dislikes those who don't obey him or have such optimism or intelligence that they are harder for him to manipulate, and he tends to describe these people as "annoying". Monokuma is also very arrogant and tends to treat others in a rude manner, with Emmet being the only one he refers to respectfully as "Master Emmet". Fitting his arrogance, he has multiple fake stories about his past, many of them nonsensical and with a silly, dark or even thoughtful message in the end. Strangely, he seems to take great pride in his supposed role as the second mascot of the game, demanding respect for the rules and getting angry if he is called a teddy bear instead of "Sir". Monokuma's personality is originally one of Emmet's personalities which she uses in the First beginning of the game while he controls monokuma behind the cameras, though the personality stays consistent even when he's an avatar for different people. According to emmet, Monokuma is the easiest character to write because he is the type of character that can make him say anything he wants without fear of repercussion. Emmet sometimes hold monokuma clutched in his chest like a teddy bear.
